I am not suggesting that the League of Women Voters participated in Indivisible's recent candidate questionnaire. I am including the League because it has publicly supported, promoted, amplified, and lent credibility to Indivisible and its activities in our community.
My question is this: How is democracy strengthened when voters are discouraged from accessing information about candidates or issues simply because of the source? If the goal is an informed electorate, shouldn't voters be encouraged to consider a broad range of information and decide for themselves what is credible?
How does suppressing or discouraging access to information align with your organizations' stated mission of defending democracy?
Reminds me of the old joke that ends, “You knew I was a snake when you picked me up.” Both IS and LWV need to be removed from any and all official actions related to elections, don’t they?
What Indivisible demonstrated is actually of immense value to the everyday voters who feel unheard by the party "politics."

If Indivisible Sequim members were to read Jake Seeger's responses to IS's questionnaire, 99% of them would vote against Mr. Seegers. You should be careful what you ask for. But on another point, the most pressing issue Clallam County faces was not addressed in the questionnaire - the Jamestown Tribe's continuing effort to gain jurisdiction over almost all of Clallam County east of Ennis Creek. The county needs to wake up to the extremely adverse and undemocratic consequences of that effort.

I think Jakes' positions were stated clearly and concisely. Nothing was buried on any candidate. Your remarks didn't convey honesty but bias.
