Really appreciate you keeping this issue up front. And to all of you reading these comments please post your opinion whether in support for or against a water steward position. Don't believe your comments don't matter. You can bet the bureaucratic powers pay attention to CCWD while labeling this growing forum as a small but vocal minority. The decision makers within the bureaucracy are surrounded by sycophants giving them strong confirmation bias that their actions are for a greater good as they are manipulated by special interests. So you need to express yourself. This comment section carries weight when it explodes on an issue. You can bet the CCWD is often discussed in there closed door conversations. I am totally opposed to a Water Steward. Smaller Government is better Government.

I am one of the 70% against the position. It is just governmental creep, each step removing the voice of the people and replacing it with government, with the players motivated by power and money, NOT the interests of the people.

I, for one, would be quite happy with 1/10th the size of government that we have. It would encourage people to be involved in ad hoc efforts, if/when needed. Instead, we have this ominous power over us who knows what's best for us, because we plebians cannot possibly know what we want. Case in point-- Tim Eyman's $30 registration fees that WE, THE PEOPLE, voted to cap, but the WA Supreme Court declared that we are too stupid to understand what we voted for, so they declared the voice of the people null and void. The more government control over our lives, they more this sort of steam rolling is going to occur. Close to home? The piping of the irrigation ditches-- no one wanted that, but the government did it anyway. NO WATER STEWARD, controller, regulation, overseer, licenser, restrictor, banner. Keep your fingers out of our water!

You know the tribe has ulterior motives concerning water usage. Having unlimited access to water is obviously in their best (business) interest. How is it that the open culverts, which naturally fed aquifer replenishment, are being replaced with pipes which do not allow for this to occur? The "on again - off again" reservoir, culvert replacement, and Water Steward position are all part of their plan.

Control the water, Control the people. Let your voice be heard!

In the future, don't just vote the candidate with biggest signage, read about their performance, who donates how much $ to their campaign and don't just vote party line!!

All this "water control " is one more piece of evidence that the citizens of this county are being ignored for the benefit of special interests. In addition to the tribe feathering their nest, the folks proposing the 600 dwelling units plus commercial development on the John Wayne property west of the marina are quoting a study from the Sequim government that says there is plenty of water through the 2040s. Is there enough water for everyone? If so, why do we need a water steward? Or is there only enough for the monied interests? There is a lot of money behind what the tribe pushes as well as the proposed development on the John Wayne property. Maybe the legal beagles in the County should follow it and find out which decision makers are getting the most? For sure, the citizens are going to be the losers.

Ok when I moved here 35 years ago farms had the highest priority for water. Then you couldn’t build because there was not enough water for the valley. Now shallow wells are drying up, difficult to get a well approved but we have a massive approval for home to be built all through the valley. It’s all about control! Water is not made by man. It is a source of nature and it isn’t something the tribes or the county have been managing very WELL. Stop the reckless use of water as a tool to keep people in fear and poverty. We can’t have Dams for fear of damaging the Salmon habitat but we can build reservoirs to drain every last drop out of the river to allow expansion of our valley. When did common sense leave the equation. Just asking for a friend.

I am concerned about 2 points, both from personal obsevations. The use of irrigation water from a finite resource, the rivers, for residential use in grass, flowers, extensive lanscaping with water features, and food gardens for personal use, or a pool. In AZ and NM where i lived 6 years there were restrictions on what the irrigation water was to be used for, and FINES if caught. No residential asthetic or beautification allowed. That water must be bought from the city or from the irrigation company at high rate. Here i see watering yards (gorgeous landscaping) 24/7 . What cost to increase the value of their residence while my place is brown and dry all summer? Not fair.

Also, why am I charged $40 a year for irrigation fees when there is no line within 3 blocks of my street? I am susidizing the farmers, the herders, and the beautiful green lawns (and fairways) of those lucky enough to be on it. I hope they pay more than my $40. If there must be an Irrigation Management job, then it should be for monitoring and EQUALIZING all water for every one for the purpose of conservation of all waters use (with clear and published data for the public). This i would vote for.

Irrigation fees were setup many years ago when the ditches flowed with water for usage. Then the water was cut off in some areas but the fees did not get cut off,i think the county just figured it could get away with it until it is challenged in court.

And some wells have dried up because of piping...at a minimum of $30,000 for a new well...we know 2 properties it has happened to.🤓

Expand full comment
Robert James's avatar

There is no 'conserving' the water (without a reservoir)...it flows to the sea...quickly...and what is not used is 'lost'...the watering increases greenery which produces oxygen and absorbs CO2 and recharges the aquifer to some extent...in our case it supports a native hedgerow, a fruiting hedgerow and a small orchard as well as raised bed vegetable and flower gardens, AND a green lawn, which provides cover and food for many birds and animals as well as natural beauty.

I get your point of view but the reality is there ARE too many people sucking off the resources here... but we are 'Californicated' and there is no going back, so big brother steps in and 'equalizes' things by LIMITING everybody EXCEPT special interest groups!

We will eventually be drinking recycled sewage just like L.A.

That's the nice thing about overpopulation and socialism...eventually everyone's lives are diminished and restricted and controlled...for the greater good of course!🤓

It is DEFINITELY my water~!

It is DEFINITELY YOUR water~!

It is "OUR" water~! The government has NEVER been authorized to completely dominate water because that would be in direct opposition to The American Constitution and our natural right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness~! Not many issues are more important or critical. There are times when the government has engaged in projects that control water, sometimes for the safety and/or wellbeing of people, however MANY times those projects have done tremendous harm to those whose rights to water were severely impacted and even destroyed. Can we trust any deceitful government that constantly violates our rights and freedoms, to take control of our most basic and necessary right to OUR water~? Can a government that insists upon "treating" our water with fluoride (a known industrial poison) and other dangerous chemicals for many decades, be trusted having anything to do with our water~? I specifically remember that it was about 10 years ago when the criminals in the Washington state government passed EXTREMELY alarming illegal and unlawful unconstitutional "dictates" that completely revealed how the criminals in our state fully intended to steal and dominate our water. They even went so far as to attempt to make it illegal to collect our own rainwater without the government's "permission". At that time the criminals in the state government immediately attempted to cover up their crimes by using the fake excuse that "They did not intend to enforce their new water rights grab"~! There is nothing to see here huh??? HA~! Of course, no one I know fell for that BS because it was too alarming and obvious that if the criminals in government didn't intend to enforce their unlawful laws, they would never have gone through the effort to pass those atrocious laws. Just as we have seen in Oregon and Idaho recently, these criminals in government are in fact all working together to steal our water rights and they have been for many years now, behind the backs of the average folks out there who are still blinded to the evil way that government really operates... This war upon our natural water rights has been going on forever in one way or another, but more recently it has been just one of the reasons why the criminals in government have been pushing their fake science & fake news about their "global climate change" terrorist attack upon the weak minded and ill-informed~! This is why the criminals planted the stories about this being yet another so-called "drought year" in the beginning of this year when "we" were experiencing a very normal period of rainfall. Ha~! I remember the criminals in government planting the completely fake science "study", that they had obviously paid for to support their lies, that was printed in the local puppet press claiming that the criminally fraudulent scientists warned that this was going to be "another drought year" when we were soaking wet with a heavier than "average" rainy season~! We see the snow still on the mountains here in our area, even well into July~! We feel the rain on us even as recently as yesterday~! We see the local rivers flowing beautifully as always~! Yes, we need to water our plants and grass as always at this time of year, but in a couple of months we will be going back into Fall and the rains will come as always... As sure as we are witnessing the governments lies about water today, the criminals in government will be again pushing their evil agenda against our natural and Constitutional rights to OUR water this Winter and beyond, until the criminals are purged from our government & community and in prison for their horrific crime spree that has been ongoing for as long as the shady history of government here... These criminals can't help themselves, because they only get installed into our government IF they are criminals who are going to be used to destroy our lives and create one disaster after another in doing so~! Water steward~? HA~! No, the criminals in government can't steal our natural right to OUR water, they can't lawfully empower anyone else to steal our natural rights to OUR water, and most of us in the community will NOT tolerate such a blatant abuse of our very lives regardless of the unlawful BS that these criminals of humanity attempt to create~! Remember, ANY law, regulation, dictate, or mandate that conflicts with The American Constitution, is null and void the very instant that these criminals of humanity attempt to shove it down our throats~!!! If we eliminate these criminals of humanity who infect our beautiful community, suddenly, miraculously, ALL of this BS about global climate change and water scarcity will instantly evaporate, and OUR water will still come as always, our community will thrive, and ALL folks here will be happier than ever before~! We need to eliminate the size and scope of governments everywhere, before the criminals in the governments, including the twisted evil local tribal government, destroy even more lives than they already have~! Sincerely NOT falling for these government lies and stubbornly NOT going to comply with their evil agendas, Mike

So, if and when it does come time to "kick ass" there won't be anywhere for these evil peckerwoods to run and hide... I hope that we can purge these monsters from our government and society the peaceful lawful Constitutional way, but anyone being honest about REAL history would have to admit that is not always possible, especially when these kinds of destructive and deadly criminals want to fight to the end. We no longer have any options but to eliminate these criminals and a growing number of us will NEVER quit, so these treasonous criminals just need to decide = regular or extra crispy~! That is 100% correct Patriot Robert James~!

These evil deceptive & manipulative criminals definitely understand that in the past all that they need to do is pass whatever BS laws or regulations that they want by shoving them down our throats and calling us names if we object, regardless of how outrageous they are, then they just lie in wait for the right time to act upon them regardless of the public outcry that they just ignore. They more often than not have blackmailed or paid off the police and court system well ahead of time, and of course "installed" their evil co-conspirators well ahead of time within the judicial system, so that any rightful & lawful public complaint against their Marxist/communist (satanic) actions is rebuffed or just plain rejected. All this, while most of the general public (the sleeping sheep) remain grossly ignorant of the fix that has been in for years and sometimes even decades~! The sleeping sheep assume that everything is basically fine, many of them laughingly believe themselves to be "educated" by the very criminals of humanity who severely dumbed the down all of their lives via the cradle to grave brainwashing machine and CLEARLY criminally corrupt so-called "educational system" (which is the sickest of jokes it has become SO horrendous) many decades ago. One sleeping sheep supports the criminals, and the criminals blow that support up WAY out of proportion to give everyone the sick illusion that "most people want whatever", when in fact, the vast majority are left to suffer tremendously because they know that this is all pure Bullshit~! This disgusting fraudulent process of destroying America has gone on day after day, week after week, year after year, and decade after decade, because once these criminals get into power positions, they NEVER leave them because the power and money that they REALLY get (mostly gained illegally of course) is WAY too good and they are committed to destroying America, The Constitution, and of course all of "us" in their evil satanic process that they call "government"~! Ha~! I am sure, like me, that you and most good folks here on The Clallam County Watchdog, often can't believe that the sleeping sheep are SO incredibly stupid, and their "default setting of treason" is horrifically appalling to witness, because it is SO difficult to believe... but this sick process is driven by fools who assume WAY too much (especially that they are "Intelligent" ;-) I don't wish to sound as if I believe that I am all that Intelligent, but the BIG difference is that after over 60 brutal years of terribly difficult work, I am NOT stupid enough to underestimate these criminals of humanity by believing that I am oh so Intelligent, because that in and of itself is these monsters biggest trap~! True freedom only comes to those who always understand that they could be wrong, and they constantly work to improve themselves to keep on learning~! Stay the course and we will not fail, as all generations before us have~!

Cheers~!

I am an investor, insurance agent, politicians, etc. worst nightmare. I am obsessed with reading the fine print. I caught a huge error on my Neurologists consent form that patients had been signing for months. People get annoyed when I say I’ll go sit down and read this! Well, too bad. I hate when a receptionist does the 20 second summary of a form they want you to sign.

Your signature can be used against you as in, you knew the risks etc. But I’m like you with reference books when the language gets so legal. It’s as if keeping the public stupid will prevent any outcomes that interfere with our paying of fees. It’s only been a few decades that people actually had income (not SS) set aside. Now retirees are bringing millions to the hands of professionals, whose job didn’t even exist two decades ago! It’s crazy. It’s like the experiment where a chimp throws a dart at a board and an investor picks stocks carefully. Chimp always wins, go figure?

HA~!!!

Very funny Susan~!

Yes, the good ol "hurry up and sign" clowns need to be constantly annoyed by those of us who insist upon understanding what we are getting onto~! Most of these same people don't even read what they are signing themselves, so they don't see why anyone else needs to. As an old contract analyst, I have on numerous occasions thrashed attorneys with their own contract because they failed to read their own written instrument~! The real estate company called "John L. Scott" probably still has a shady deal where they have some of their crooked lawyers "engineer" their own version of a real estate contract that upon first glance appeared to be the same as the standard "offer & acceptance" real estate contract that the MLS real estate brokers & agents use, however there were some VERY small yet absolutely critical word changes that gave the John L. Scott agents a HUGE advantage over any suckers who rashly agreed to use their predatory forms. HA~! Well, long story short, I actually read every word of the John L. Scott real estate "offer & acceptance" form, and I easily found their nasty embedded tricks~! When I am annoyed by having to read a "new" contract like that I am already displeased enough to require that I make more on the deal because it is just to charge the shady characters a "fee" for my time. When I found their scam however, it pissed me off and I was then looking for a bigger "fee" for my annoyance and displeasure~! Let us just say that I made some subtle written changes to THEIR contract, reversing their underhanded game, made it very clear that I had done so, I removed the "power and control" that they had attempted to steal from my client, and I charged a stiff "fee" (penalty) for the hassle factor, and the idiot shyster broker and agent COMPLETELY missed what I had done and they signed off on it~! Ha Ha Ha! I used to call that my little way of charging crooks and idiots in business an "asshole fee"~! Baaaaa Haaaaaaa Haaaaaaaa! Within 30 days or so the John L. Scott broker and agent suddenly realized their oversight and responded by trying to get tuff by pushing my client around, which as you can probably guess didn't go well for them at all because I had COMPLETELY removed the power and control that they had attempted to steal for themselves~! When the property in question closed escrow, the broker and agent with John L. Scott had pissed me off SO much that I contacted the Washington State Attorney General and gave them the equivalent of a "proctology exam" (but less "enjoyable" for the shysters)~! Most folks don't pay much attention to employment contracts that those of us in the old school Personnel profession regularly negotiated during the regular course of our business, but real estate contracts are FAR less impactful of folks. A typical professional (especially executive) employment contract can be worth well in excess of a million dollars, and for those same folks in that same financial range a typical real estate contract would probably be under $500K... Professional employment contracts are the BIG "monkey" in the room for the vast majority of folks, then followed WAY down the scale in 2nd place is their own home real estate contract... So, it is a VERY bad idea to screw with a contract analyst who learned contract negotiations in the big leagues ;-) Ha~! Of course, people who judge others on their appearance are just suckers waiting to be thrashed by those of us who understand that common mistake~! Just ask President Trump ;-)) Anyway, you keep up the great work by reading what you are asked to sign because that is the only competent thing to do. I know how horrible reading all that "fine print" is and no one hates it more than I do, but our entire world is run by contracts and to take that lightly will result in unpleasant consequences~! Have a great day and be of good cheer because great things are happening~!

Sincerely, Mike

"Turn these fraudsters into inmates"~!

Now you are talking my friend~! I am very glad that I could help you a little Susan~! We have all been abused by this evil twisted system where our own language, laws, and Constitution have been weaponized against us, and these really are VERY old methods of criminal control and domination. Yes, these nasty people who orchestrate and devise these shady accounting "shell games" and phony non-disclosure "disclosures" that actually disclose little to nothing, make sure that "we" (the general public) have no chance to easily find the truth and the important information that we are looking for. Worse, they bury it in GOBZ of complete Bullshit and "legalese" that not many have the time, interest, patience, of stubbornness to weed through~! I have a "Black's Dictionary" (legal terms dictionary) that I can reference when the shyster lawyers get deep into their twisted evil shenanigans! Ha! That is the real reason folks get these pages and pages of verbose "disclosures" (and contracts) that turn them off to the point that they present a formidable block to many EVER trying to figure them out. It is really quite self-evident that these masters of confusion work their evil brain numbing "wordcraft" (reference; "witchcraft") of intentionally overcomplicated verbosity in bad faith! The true Intention is to make you, the reader/customer/victim, feel overwhelmed and as if you are less of a person. If you/we feel embarrassed because, try as we may, we can't find honest information that we know should be easy to find, you/we are FAR less likely to look any further and most just give up because they fear looking "stupid". With a face like mine, I don't fear looking stupid~! Baaaaa Haaaaaaaa Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~!!! It is a VERY evil game, because most folks do actually have the basic ability to read and comprehend plain language. HA~! Long ago I caught on to this evil twisted game of very intentional linguistic baffling & confusion, because when these same criminals actually want "us" (society) to clearly and quickly know something they "suddenly" have no problem putting it into plain and simple easy to comprehend language~! Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!! VERY maddening indeed ;-)

Yes! I did hear about Glen Morgan and his great efforts to open the eyes of good folks~! As you can imagine I am more than happy to see any such efforts. It may not seem like it to you, but you yourself have been playing a great and positive role along these same lines, as so many other great folks have been doing here on The Watchdog and beyond~! I would have been there to listen to what Glen Morgan had to say if I could have, but we have a HUGE amount on out plate and we have both been overworking it a bit. We just crashed for a very long and obviously well needed nap here today because of the self-inflicted exhaustion level. War is Hell ;-) Anyway, these difficult times can exhaust folks easily and they/we don't even realize it, so it is extremely important to make sure that we all get enough rest and good sleep~!!! Failure to do so is VERY dangerous for us and those around us, because of all of the problems exhaustion causes. Of course, some claim not to need much rest/sleep, but that is no badge of courage or strength and can easily lead to a complete mental and/or physical disaster. Our mortal bodies need good downtime that is sufficient for our best overall health :) Be well and thank you for the report on Glen Morgan~! I do hope to have another opportunity to catch his presentation, and I would bet that he and I would get along very well ;-) Have a wonderful weekend~! Sincerely, Mike

Mike, that sounds like me trying to figure out the math on our financial statements. So the advisor has the 1 percent wrap fee. But then each and everything we are invested in has another fee say 35$ per 10,000. But those disclosures never come with your statement and unless you go back and try to audit line by line I just feel screwed by the system. The only real number I see is quarterly fee by advisor but disclosure states sometimes he isn’t acting in our best interest bc of I guess commissions he gets by putting client $ in lucrative to him, financial products.

Am I understanding this or way off? You can’t deduct fees you can’t identify, right?

Good morning, Susan~!

Welcome to another day in Paradise ;-)

I also have struggled with "modern accounting" over the years and the frustration that you are feeling is honestly very well placed. At a very young age I realized that "we" (humanity) are/is completely controlled by "contracts" so believe it or not I am one of the very few who actually reads & understands the insanely confusing contracts in our disturbing world. This is nothing I ever wanted to do, but I had little choice if I wanted to have a chance to survive well. This is where law meets economics meets history... So, I am definitely a "contract analyst". I am a classic economist and NOT an "accountant" however. This modern perversion of "accounting" is little but a highly complicated & elaborate "shell game" that serves the criminals of humanity and constantly baffles, confuses, and of course milk's "we the people". Basic accounting has its rightful & proper place, but obviously it is no longer of much value to us when no one can understand it, and few can ever really figure it out. This is especially true with regard to the (completely unlawful unconstitutional) Internal Revenue Department = IRS = Federal Tax Code, which at best is a highly subjective "interpretative dance" of back doors and loopholes for those precious few who understand them, and a complete screwing to all of the rest of us~! Anyway, one of the very first things to make sure that we understand this very intentionally confusing "con game" that is laughingly referred to as "modern civilized society" is actually very simple. There are only TWO financial systems that everyone needs to have a basic understanding of. Your bank, stockbroker, real estate agent, and the majority of others who are engaged in business actually have absolutely NO "financial/fiscal duty" to be held to regarding the matter of your so-called "best interests"~! This fact is very intentionally hidden from folks because the criminals and thieves among us NEVER want people to understand that they really have no legal obligation to protect them or their best interests. In all of these cases you and I are referred to as "The Customer" which is the BIG "tell" (HINT) that these "salespeople" have no fiscal responsibility to protect your best interests and they are ONLY legally motivated to look out for their own best interests. The illusion is that they care about your financial wellbeing, which they go to enormous lengths to create, but by definition of law they are NOT required to do so! This should shock and wake everyone who has been brainwashed by the evil matrix that "we" (Patriots) are currently doing our best to destroy~! Now, the other system folks need to be aware of, especially if they want to work with someone who is legally obliged to look out for their best interests, involves a business professional who DOES have a "financial duty" to the individual that, in this case, is referred to as "A Client"~! Not "A customer"~! In contract law just one-word changes EVERYTHING~! ;-) So, folks who are being charged "fees" are more often than not being milked by salespeople who enrich themselves by generating those fees, not the profitable wellbeing of their "customer". The "professional & client" relationship is the one where the professional only gets paid (usually a %) of the value (profit) that they have helped the client make. There is a HUGE world of difference between the two that most don't have the slightest clue actually exists. It is very wise to be sure of the customer/client relationship before deciding to work with anyone, because the customer/client MUST know exactly where they stand in the relationship to be able to protect their own best interests. My ex-wife many years ago worked for a VERY high level "stockbroker" in a major company who had many high-profile clients. He was what is known within the industry as a professional "Institutional Trader" where he would buy and sell many millions of dollars' worth of stocks within minutes or hours every day to generate his "commissions & fees". Many of these slick criminals refer to the people that they handle money for as "clients" however legally they are usually only "customers". Long story short, one day my ex-wife was telling me about a crazy day that she had where this "Institutional Trader" that she worked for had bought & sold the same stock several times within an hour or less, which COULD be legit, but I started to see a criminal pattern in what he was doing. You see, he was just buying and selling the same stock/s over & over again just to generate the commissions and fees to line his pockets with~! The SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) calls that the crime of "churning" BTW. It is COMPLETELY illegal, however like all of the criminals (big and small) they hide their illegal and unlawful activities behind the veil of legitimacy. Well, when I had a serious chat with my ex because I was concerned about her potential criminal liability, I told her to ask her boss about his business practices, of course in a non-confrontational way. She told me that he simply stated that "as long as he didn't lose his customers money that was in the specific account, his customer didn't care"~! Being in the professional personnel business at that time I quickly moved my ex to a FAR better job with a FAR more powerful company and into the Investment Banking world. Investment Banking is actually the highest level of the stockbrokerage world ;-) Anyway, beware of the rules of these games and how you/we are constantly deceived against our best interests and wellbeing my friend~! I am very sad to say that criminals and crooks are quite literally everywhere, so finding honest good folks to work with is a difficult task. Your Intelligent concerns regarding your efforts to understand these "financial statements" are very well placed... Ha! I remember a number of years ago the absolute head of the federal agency charged with oversight of the charges on our typical phone bills was asked to explain the "fees and charges" on a typical monthly statement and he COMPLETELY failed to be able to do so. He couldn't even read, understand, and explain the fees & charges on his own monthly statement~! That may be a "clue"~! Ha! We have had a great many clues and pieces of evidence that betrays the criminal matrix that we have all been entrapped and enslaved by, so thank God that "we" are destroying this evil octopus~! The military style signaling that I have been monitoring has very clearly been stating that the new Quantum Starlink computer system that will be replacing the old corrupt system will address the customer/client bamboozling that has been going on for a great many decades, so let us hope that comes to pass ASAP~! Have a great Friday and I hope you enjoy a fun weekend~! Sincerely, Mike

Also, the development in Pacific Beach, Wa Seabrook adds just about 1$ million dollars to the Grays Harbor Tax Revenue.

That seems very low compared to the price per housing unit within that development. Special deal?

Michael Heath's avatar

Well, from my experience investigating many of these kinds of shady government and business "sleight of hand" (shell game) transactions, I would bet that numerous envelopes full of cash have probably been passed around to key people AND the Gray's Harbor Assessor's office is likely in on it, in the case of the Seabrook development. The scam I have seen many times before, is that the tax Assessor gives "new developments" a special reduced tax rate for a very short period of time, so that the developers can better sell (unload) the housing units to the suckers, and then at some point the Assessor's office pulls the rug out from under the new owners and HAZA! The "new and improved" higher rate suddenly appears on the new owner's annual assessment that does better reflect the value+++ (especially as is reported by the infamous "recent sale transaction" scam ;-) Sometimes the tax assessor will bother with a short letter to the new home owners that claims that they "made a mistake" in the previous assessment and the new tax bill better reflects the taxes that are now owed, but one way or another they always get their blood money... A lot of people are lured by the old "low taxes" bait & switch ploy, only to soon after they buy find that tax rate starts to increase... These little games are never really "mistakes" because the government always seems to be able to account for every penny when "we" (taxpayers) owe them money, they only have accounting problems when they are "missing money" and they claim that they made "mistakes" HA! As an economist I always get a kick out of the government claims that they "lost money"~! Ya right! Try to tell them that when they come after you for their tax money! Besides, money VERY rarely "disappears" because someone always knows exactly where it is ;-) I like to joke with the people who just don't ever seem to get it, when I ask them how many times the bank made a mistake and credited their account with more money than was due? Ha! As compared to how many times the bank has taken too much money from their account? Let's just say that the government is always geared to make "mistakes" in their favor the vast majority of times ;-))

Be of good cheer and keep smiling~!

Mike that is good info. I can see a limited tax break as an incentive , but he started in 2004 and still expanding. Started on 1,300 new homes to the north on SR 109.

Seabrook for years were their own real estate company. Now I think they finally let others show for sale housing, but not certain. I can’t believe he’s bringing this to Sequim. Pacific Beach is a very small town basically at the end of the road before Makah Nation land.

Sequim isn’t that town, so many have so much more to lose and when they get fed up Casey Roloff will probably take that property off your hands. Not at market value however!

Hello wonderful Susan C. Bonallo~!

Yes, we here have been sending the Individuals in the local government our strongest objections against this disgusting ruinous development project~! We have noticed that a couple of the e-mail addresses for some of these people in government are not working, and we suspect that they have been intentionally turned off by these Individuals because of the negative community backlash on this specific project. We would be willing to gather in downtown Sequim if other folks wish to display their opposition to this proposed nightmare, so maybe that would be a good idea to make sure that the clowns in government can't claim that they were unaware of the will of the people? A peaceful protest between Washington Street & Sequim Avenue and at City Hall would be an excellent way to get more public exposure on this potentially devastating horror to our community treasure of the John Wayne Marina area~! Hey Mike, thank you for reminding me of the need for an outline. I’ve done just that. As ideas come to mind, I stick them in that section. I have some published articles, that surprisingly came very easy for me. When you write down nonfiction, it doesn’t leave much uncertainty for the reader. The book is on my bucket list, which is getting shorter all the time! That’s a good thing bc we can add to the bottom. I walk the beach year round, sometimes in weather not fit to support life. But as the saying goes “If you are lucky enough to live at the beach, you are lucky enough”! Picking up plastic debris always rewards me with a sea glass find. Some kind of karma, for sure. Cheers, my friend.

Mike, you are an inspiration. I think my book will be some good chuckles for most. The majority of content came right off the ND web site, bc you can’t make that kind of crazy up!

I totally loved when people lose their crap, and unloaded on an entire site. Hope none of them need jobs. I’m leaning toward using actual names like Brad O, who, I’m not kidding, thought I was hitting on him just because I didn’t want to go anymore rounds with him on such an open forum. I don’t think it’s flirting when you’ve been publicly called a Nazi! And yes, I’m the Nazi that reported a request for rat eating snakes to protect her chickens.

There is so much wrong with that thinking, where do you begin? Husband was a contributor to publications in his industry for 40 years.

Now he just reads manuals for all things diesel engine related.

Not a wordsmith nor an avid book reader. So I will save his energy for writing checks to my (probably) self published/printed book. Life is funny. Humans are amusing, even not trying to be.

Enjoy the Sun - we wait most of the year for this. That will need to be a chapter, most depressing winters in USA. If you visit, bring your Prozac!

Thank you for your kind words, Susan C Bonallo~!

When I see an opportunity to be supportive of good folks, I just feel it is all part of my duty to do so. Not that I am really required to, but because it is the right thing to do and I yearn for a society that spends more time supporting others than grabbing up all they can for themselves I make the effort ;-) There are a lot of "us" (Patriots) who are working hard on breaking the backs of those who control folks through fear and that includes this insane society that gives everyone the impression that things are scarce (when we actually live in a world of GREAT abundance ;-) I was very young when I started to wonder why people acted so crazy and it was in the mid 70's that I was doing some research and I stumbled on an old newspaper report where this old jack ass named Rockefeller was being interviewed by the print media over 100 years ago now. The newspaper reporters asked him about a meeting that he had just attended, and he told them that "We are going to destroy the American family unit to make Americans easier to control". By "we" he was referring to "The Illuminati" that George Washington warned Americans about~! Well, those are immediate fighting words for American Constitutionalists, but he was dead by the time I found that old news report. Anyway, realizing that the "craziness" that I had been seeing all of my life was very intentionally induced by the most wealthy and powerful, I have been hot on their tail ever since~! So, when these criminals in government intentionally instigate their war between men & women (and of course children) and they fan the flames of racial & religious division, I have always known what they are REALLY doing and precisely why. Keep working on the relationship with your husband and all other relationships that you value, because there are VERY evil and powerful forces that are working to destroy you and everyone that they possibly can~! To the best of my ability, I have been trying to get folks to understand that this oldest of wars against humanity is NO joking matter, but I have unfortunately failed dramatically. The "good news" sure didn't appear to be good at all, but this still ongoing COVID & "vaccine" mass murder genocide actually did get the attention of millions of people and that is in fact the worst nightmare of the criminals of humanity (The Illuminati and their criminal minions)~! Many people have now realized that there is something terribly wrong and that is VERY good. Yes, I/we here also see quite a few people "losing it" and coming unhinged, which is to be expected from folks who are literally being tortured in SO many ways all at the same time, especially when that do not understand that evil people are in fact causing their pain & suffering. You have probably noticed that the past 5+ years have brought out the ugly side of many that you never expected to be so ugly, and perhaps you have seen people who you didn't expect to be good folks stepping up to prove that they are truly good folks. Adversity does bring out the real Individuals personality and shows exactly who they really are. Everyone can get along when the good times roll~! Be careful because America and the world is unfortunately not through these difficult times just yet and everyone needs to take a side. Goodness or evil~! With any luck, and of course God's help, I am confident that Individual freedom will win eventually and these criminals of humanity and their "enslavement machine" will be destroyed. We are stuck having to suffer today, so that the future generations will have an America (and world) where they will have a chance to be free and prosperous...

I would enjoy hearing when your book is finished. I have struggled to be a published write for many decades now, and it is definitely a learning process that is very painful when we do our best work. Jeff Tozzer is capable of extraordinary writing and his last April 1st (April Fool's Day) article was absolutely hilarious and VERY well done. I am sure that you are doing fine, but I learned a very long time ago that the very first step in doing almost anything is simply to write a list. That has been one of the key talents that I learned early in life, and it has rewarded me well over the years, especially compared to others who never write lists and are therefore at a HUGE disadvantage. In the case of writing, if you take the time to write a thoughtful basic outline to organize your thoughts ahead of time, you won't believe how much easier writing will be~! Ha! Yes, some get depressed by the weather, but I am blessed with a powerful and creative personality, so I can always find something productive to do (especially here on the funny farm ;-) I do sometimes miss the sunny Southwest that I spent most of my life in. The water skiing, boating and all of that outdoor stuff. Then, I know all too well that living in the Southwest is a living nightmare these days because of the insane government and many millions of tortured souls that are trouble just waiting to happen. The Northwest here is definitely on the decline as well, but I find the climate here to be pretty great most of the time. I love the seasons and at my age I don't enjoy really hot weather unless I am on a boat water skiing. I really enjoy working on the property and living close to nature, but I find that the more exercise (work) that I get, the better quality of life I have. I was an athlete all of my early life, so I absolutely hate gym's and working on the property here is FAR more on a REAL exercise~! There is some work I regularly do here that most guys half my age couldn't do, and that is because I LOVE an active lifestyle ;-)

Have a great evening and make it extra fun~!

Good evening, Patriot Susan C. Bonallo~!

I really appreciate your great compliments, but doing the right thing is our American duty and part of the "cost" of our freedom. You are right that too many Americans shirk their duty and avoid paying their fair share of that cost, by violating The Constitution and sinking to the level of the lowest among us in society. I see "hero worship" as a HUGE negative because we are all flawed; however, I have seen some outstanding folks who were great role models that were worthy of other folks learning how they could improve themselves. I don't enjoy being wrong and I do everything I can to avoid being wrong because it can cause harm to others, but when I am wrong, I have no problem learning from it because I see that as success in life. I have spent many decades working on developing myself as a true scientist, and anyone who really takes that seriously can't be afraid of making mistakes and learning from them. That is what real science is all about... I see a LOT of people who can't ever admit that they made mistakes when they do, which definitely makes them look the fool to me and everyone else who knows that they made mistakes. It is all about the quality of the Individual and we all need to do our best to constantly improve. Oh yes, Jeff Tozzer has obviously made the decision to take a stand against the criminals among us, which is never easy, but it does reflect the quality of the Individual. I am not talking about the local loud mouths, bullies, and troublemakers who get off on stirring up trouble by poking into other people's private lives, but the best among us stands up for what is right when few if any others will. Unfortunately, a LOT of Americans have been trained to take the so-called "easy path", the path of the coward, but I am sure that you know that it is always best to take a stand when it becomes necessary to do so. I am an old lover of the beach, and I have been blessed with being able to enjoy countless beaches all over the world. There is a magical experience to be enjoyed on a good beach. For many years I was fortunate enough to own a huge black thoroughbred horse with the best bloodlines in the world, but I never let her race because I have been around that environment all my life and it is not good for the horses. Anyway, my horse taught me a LOT about horses and animals over the years, and we ended up frequenting many beautiful beaches here in the Pacific NW. We became such great friends that my horse would lay down on the beach and put her head in my lap sometimes for hours at a time. We were quite the sight to a great many tourists, who would often call the local police to report the 911 emergency of "a man trapped under a horse on the beach"~! HA! It got so ridiculous on one town's beach that I regularly visited that the police dispatchers all had to be trained how to handle the many frantic calls of hysterical tourists who just didn't take the time to look~! Pretty funny, but also sadly insightful ;-) Anyway, I am an old "water dog" who was raised in the water everywhere I went in my younger years, so what would anyone expect when I had a horse~? I have also been a real horseman most of my life as well, so go figure~? Ha! Have a great night and keep the faith because I am quite confident that better times will be ahead when the dust settles from these bizarre times~! Enjoy the path~! Mike

HA~!

Thank you for your gracious and amusing comment Patriot Susan C Bonallo~!

I absolutely LOVE the poor folks who suffer through my "long-winded writing" more than you could possibly know~! You see, I was very young when I realized that the vast majority of times that folks were fighting between each other, they were doing so because of the sad lack of understanding & good communication between each other's position. The evil people know this and take advantage of it constantly... I REALLY hate it when good folks fight, especially because of a sad lack of proper and honest communication. So, the only solution that I have ever found that has a chance to work, is MORE honest communication so that folks could overcome the potential for misunderstandings~! Along those same lines, I very specifically and intentionally "over communicate" these days, especially on subjects that are or could become dangerous if misunderstood, so that I make my best effort to avoid mistakes and also so that should it EVER become necessary for me to take any actions in accordance with my oath as and American Constitutionalist, I know that I made every effort possible to advise folks of the risks involved in making those potential mistakes. That is called "Full Disclosure"~! ;-) People who "grunt" back and forth at each other, much like "Tim Taylor" on the TV show "Home Improvement", rarely really communicate, and this "Gizmo" called "The Internet" is actually a HIGHLY flawed miscommunication just waiting to happen, much like a ticking time bomb between good folks~! If you look closely into situations where family, friends, or even strangers, argue or fight & "unfriend" each other, you will ultimately find that it was in fact due to a tragic miscommunication or severe lack of good communication. I do hope that does make sense, because it is SO very accurate and true and if better understood I am absolutely sure that the world would instantly become a FAR better place ;-) The absolutely hilarious fact is that, believe it or not, I personally absolutely LOVE the writing and speaking style of the few folks like "Will Rodgers Jr." because he was a true artist who could speak & write volumes, with the absolute fewest number of words possible~! I DEEPLY honor that capability in the extreme few who can achieve it, especially these days of intentionally induced mass confusion, because those few Individuals capable of it are the REAL heroes and absolute Masters of verbal & written Communication~! Ironic huh~? Have a GREAT weekend my friend, and it looks like some very interesting times are ahead that will eventually change America and the world for the better~! Stay safe, well stocked up just in case, and never forget to make every day as fun as possible~! Sincerely, Mike

HA~!

Well, I am not exactly sure if I should complement you or send you my condolences if "we are cut from the same cloth"~! Ha Ha Ha!!! Yes, to those who prefer to grunt, groan, and bark at each other, we would seem "wordy" but these is definitely a method to our madness that clearly escapes some. I think that it is a shame when folks have partners in life who don't or can't appreciate them the way that they deserve, but I don't like to judge other folks' relationships because that is not for me to ever do. One of the biggest problems that our society here in the US has, was shoved down all of our throats in the 70's via the "politically correct" assault that literally attacked our right to free speech by every nut job social bully in the country, who instantly took advantage of everyone and anyone who they didn't agree with or like~! I watched it in real time ASTOUNDED by the idiots who crawled out from under their rocks to bash and bully the well intentioned. The social misfits and low-level cowardly bullies "decided" what was intended to be communicated so ruthlessly and based upon their wacko Individual subjective bad faith assumptions, as opposed to being civilized enough to make at least a little effort to clarify what is being communicated~! HA~! You can always gauge the Intelligence and Goodwill level of people, by how they treat others. Ha! So, I am not so sure that you needed to "apologize" to anyone, especially based upon what others "thought" as opposed to the truth and what you intended... If I ever apologize it is only because I know that I did something wrong in some way, otherwise I never bow to the social bullies (but I can be a force to reckon with upon detecting bullies for sure ;-) Most of the time I am overly polite about it when they need a "slap upside the head" and they are usually too dumb to know what hit them~! Ah, what good sport :) I am VERY pleased with the vast majority of folks who gravitate to The Watchdog, because we all have our different points of view, but only the few idiots stick out as troublemakers and that is precisely how good folks in a good society should weed out the problem children~! That is "Constitutionally correct"~! Ha! True story! The good folks here on The Watchdog give me hope that America will soon see better times and the problem children will slither away out of a well-earned embarrassment for their uncivilized and rude wrongheaded behavior. Some peoples' kids huh? You go ahead and write your book from your heart as you are motivated. Yes, the communicator has to consider the intended audience, but that can only be so successful in a country that does not even know America is a Republic, what sex many believe they are, and just how many STILL don't realize that "we" are all being intentionally divided by design to destroy America and all Americans freedoms~! What a sight! I am sure that you get what I am saying, so just relax and don't worry about pleasing everyone, because that will never happen. The communicator is best at communicating when he/she does so as a well-informed Individual of conviction~! Oh, and it would be good to keep in mind that a person of few words, likely has little of value to say, so NEVER go by their lead~! Have a beautiful day and make it fun~! Sincerely, Mike

I listened to the last CRC Water Steward meeting. It was painfully long because they refuse to get together in one room where everyone can hear and see one another.

I've been trying to appreciate why Commissioner Richards is fervently supportive of the water steward need when I heard him mention something about three creeks that run across his property that have dried up. City of Sequim and developers want to build more homes and obviously believe there's enough water to do so, but the allegation of a dried up creek is going to drive control?

Add to his fear the remainder of the supportive Commissioners who seem gullible to use any and all other "science" that is based in more fear, yet the Washington State department of Ecology isn't mentioned in the meeting as the official water steward of the citizens of Washington state, and Clallam County. Why is that?

The commission should follow the voice of the people and the charter. In addition, no new positions should be formed in these budget times. Regardless of any perceived need. They need to do a staff analysis, and see what positions can be eliminated, condensed, reorganized, etc. to make the cost of any new positions be $0 change in budget or a savings in budget.

The Charter Review only has the ability to: 1.make a recommendation to the commissioners; 2. put something on the ballot for the people to vote for. So, by a small group on the Charter Review pushing hard to put this on the ballot -- means a defeat at the ballot, will punt this away from the commissioners -- because the "voice of the people" have spoken. It's very difficult for the county commissioners to justify going against a definitive defeat at the ballot boxes. This is not a bad thing.

Well, if it were just to be a recommendation to the County Commissioners, then WHY are they taking up so much time -- it could have been put on the "back-burner" for after the deadline to get it on the ballot (which is what should be front/center burner right now, as August is the deadline).

If they are really that stupid (which may be possible) to take up THIS MUCH TIME on water, when it's only a recommendation -- then, that's crazy. (Again, maybe I am hitting the nail blindly.)

I was of the opinion that they wanted to make this a ballot thing... certain that they could muster enough motivation by people to vote for it (like they all voted for Hillary and then Kamala and were in shock when everyone didn't vote the way they did) in some kind of echo chamber. To make it a ballot thing makes it required -- the people are voting for a new position. It's a bigger risk, because the Commissioners don't have to follow their recommendations.

The reality is --- it's expensive to live in Clallam, and not many voters will vote for another paid position. If you look at the past initiatives set forth by the Home Charter Review -- very few votes will be cast for "more government". Sure we vote for school levies (???) and other peculiar things, but most people in the county won't see a reason to vote for something dreamed up by some people in Sequim (the town with the weirdest water rights insanity). It does nothing to address the west end's issues, and Port Angeles just pays the city for water. <meh> Don't raise our rates.... it's bad enough every summer when an "emergency" is declared (after everyone was talked into what a "good idea" it was taking out the Elwha Dam was. Old timers will remind you "we never had water shortages before the dam was taken out". IDK. If causative, or reactive.)

A head scratcher for sure. I think that they've missed the deadline for it to be on this year's ballot, but good question about why all the work if they think the BOCCC will tip over in their favor. I'll go with a third option. They want the opposition to 1) grow weary and not be able to fend off a ballot measure NEXT year, and 2) they're scheming how to dredge up more "scientific" data and push it to the media to socialize the message.

They may be stupid but it's clear they have an agenda and no accountability...WE are supposed to be 'the oversight committee' but

WE don't seem to have any real say in the matter, do we?😳

Please continue to keep this up front. We must head off taking this step. Once there is a bureaucratic force over ground water we've lost our rights. This isn't a tenable situation. Water rights are the biggest issue in this century, there will be no going back if they are successful.

Totally against the water steward!! Show where this has been proven to work in other counties, what is the cost to the tax payer and if wanted should be approved by the people it will impact. The JKT does not have to follow the rules, but want us to so they can have control. How is it our town keeps adding housing developments, 200 here, 600 there and wonder where the water is coming from. Wake up people before we have no control.

All I have heard is the county has a water shortage. Imagine my surprise when Casey Roloff showed a screen shot of how much water the county has. He got it from the city of Sequim, to justify the low impact a 600 housing resort at Sequim Bay. If they allow this development, just think how much money will roll in for permits? Never be responsible for budgets if money keeps coming in, right?

Water problem? No problem...just restrict everyone else and then you have lots of (restricted) water...except for JKT...no problem.🤪

Remember --- all that the Charter Review can do is put a crafted initiation on the ballot. We are the ones who get to vote. So, from the moment it is crafted for the November ballot -- people should campaign to get everyone to VOTE NO. The people have the final say. And, when it's voted down, then continue to convince the Clallam Commissioners to not bring it in the back door.

Like when the state overturned and/or blocked voter initiatives or came back and corrupted initiatives later?😱

So TRUE! I can't believe how many people think he's a philanthropic hero.

He made 200 times his money back on the vaccine protocols he 'backed'.

His own words in an interview at Davos.

His father and grandfather were eugenicists as well.

If I had the 'magic wand' I would eliminate the psychopaths and idiots but they run everything, so...😜

Just look up how he screwed over Tim Patterson, the Seattle Computer Products guy who wrote the original operating system, QDOS (renamed MS-DOS). Talk about a con-job. (Of course, QDOS was a clone of Kildal's CP/M.) Gates father was an attorney in Seattle, and president of the King County and Washington State Bar Association for many years. .
