Information is a source of enlightenment that can help us find our way in a terrible world and enable us to move towards a workable solution. I appreciate your bringing forth many of the decisions that are made without the newspaper or radio even addressing is amazing and appreciated. I don’t need to agree or disagree with each item but I do need to be informed. Mud slinging is older than our country, but selecting one person who brings the news and assassinate one man , and not the information is awful. I am ashamed of those who feel so threatened by the information that you post that they strike out instead of evaluating it and coming to their own conclusions. They have been exposed by u so many times that they are worried that the truth be told. Educational articles on CCWD are enlightening and make them nervous. It signals to every everyday resident that if they dare question a public grant, ask for receipts, or speak up at a city council meeting, they too will face public humiliation by the cultural gatekeepers.
blocking the very timber sales and resource revenues that fund their existence, the bureaucratic class is actively sawing off the plank they are standing on—destined to drop into a fiscal sea of their own making.

Thank you for your most gracious words and rising above the pitifully sad infantile low-level efforts of the few in the community who can't stand the light of truth and open discourse that ALL true Americans should honor and welcome as what makes America a truly gifted country! Unlike the devious and deceptive Olympic Theatre Arts manager Deanna Eickhoff, who cowardly hides the Intent of HER production's motives behind a dead man who can't speak for himself, you have risen above the low Draconian mentality that always does more harm than good. I believe that you are correct that "we" (most Americans) want the same things in life, however those who deploy solutions to problems through deceptive and fraudulent behavior, with the criminal mindset that "the ends justifies the means", are the greatest threat to America and humanity~! When good folks, like you and the Individuals who rightfully put a high value on The Clallam County Watchdog, come together to honorably and honestly engage in conversations about our community, there is a "magical positive energy" that is palpable. When these underhanded schemers gather to conspire against the good folks of the community, to deny us our freedom and rights, as they conduct their hidden agendas through lies and deceit, the "negative energy" is ALWAYS present like a turd in a punchbowl. When good folks realize that they are being lied to and deceived, EVERYONE is harmed, and this is something that the local subversive clown show never understands or obviously remotely cares about. When people have no care how they achieve their goals, especially when they know that most people in the community are not supportive of their goals, the end results are NEVER positive because they were gained through ruthlessly and often illegal dishonest means~! I am sure like many; I am disgusted with the people who would stoop to actually producing such a disrespectfully sad "hit piece" on you and by extension ALL of the good folks in our community who have valid concerns about the way our community is being mismanaged & harmed. This is a micro-example of what all totalitarian regimes have done: weaponized theater and the arts to promote visceral experiences to expand their ideology: Soviets, Nazis, Maoists, etc. all had their versions. Even US propaganda, of course.
But it's not art and the deeper human instincts see right through it. Character assassination-based political humor has essentially zero longevity. And it demonstrates desperation.
