I was an attendee at online public confidential meetings upon invite along with the rest of the public. None were taken. The public attending and their comments were promised to remain confidential. They were so confidential that when Sarah Kinkaid, an appointed city counselor demanded the recorded Zoom meeting be published and released in her role as city counselor. She was firmly told, "No," by the city attorney and city IT director, and city staff, Barbara Hanna, who provided the summary. The public understood only the summary existed and definately, no written transcription of those confidential public Zoom meetings. You had to attend to know what was said. So, how did someone who wasn't here for those get transcripts through a public disclosure request with names and statements from attendees from a public confidential zoom meeting that were posted to Substack podcast and transcript of the podcast exposed to the world this morning Thursday March 26, at 4 AM?

My favorite topic! The library wasted about 4m in construction of the new $6.2m library. Now they want more money. These clowns do not have any desire to account for their wasteful spending. There is a lot of ignorance involved in that project why would we think that it ends there. Where was the foresight that was missed in their planning for after this monument was finished? I can NOT condone any money for the circus they have created. Putting bad money after the reckless spending will only further their quest for MORE money later. When does it end? Vote NO is a good start. The shelves have full blown Marxist publications; not just shelved but presented on the plate racks so they are front and center. I love the new Sequim Library, it is perfect for meetings and just sitting in a sunny spot to read. The problem is not the library staff, the problem is the library leadership. If you choose a life partner, you have discriminated against all other potential candidates. Merit has no bias. The best possible candidate, pilot, carpenter, house painter or car detailer is not determined by gender, skin tone, ethnicity or sexual orientation. Assuming we should be investing in equal everything for everybody, how much should we set aside for transgenders who transition back to heterosexuality because their lives matter ? Be the best you can be and all these insane "minority" physical derivations created for votes will not matter. If I did believe in minority-ism, I would be mandating opportunities for the last of the, as yet, unrecognized minorities; Caucasians, males and hetertosexuals. If we aspire to divide our society, we must create divisions like DEI, BLM, MWBE, LGBTQ+, indigenous, preferred ethnicities, darker skin tones, etc.. No better way to waste money, time and resources to accomplish nothing.
