I've been reading Jeff’s blog for quite a while. As an unleashed watchdog, he and his watchdoggers have given his many readers issues to ponder.
Jeff seems to be having fun doing this. So he probably took on the job of campaign manager with the same attitude. Organizations give workshops on running and financing campaigns in Washington for a reason. As campaign manager, Jeff made honest mistakes and once revealed discussed those errors in his blog. Other watchdogs were lurking in the shadows. They pounced after discovering embarrassing things said and done by Jeff and those around him including his candidate. Perhaps those bloggers saw the impact Jeff’s blog was having on local politics and decided to join the watchdog pack – unlike Jeff, anonymously.
When these personal attacks were published on other blogs, Jeff met them head on in his blog.
It would be a cheap shot to say that because Jeff launched a local muckraking blog and is now a target it is some sort of justice. Those blogs show that local newspapers and radio stations ignore certain issues and personalities and the blogs fill that gap.
When Jeff resigned as campaign manager, he did so with grace.
Jake Seegers will continue his campaign; Jeff and his watchdoggers will keep commenting on issues.
Keep up the fight Jeff, while other anonymous bloggers will fight their battles too. May truth and decorum prevail.
Jeff, sad that is has come to this. For a "Boy with a blog," you've turned CCWD into a force in little ol' Clallam County that has woken up a lot of sleeping folks who are tired of the same old, same old grift and have begun to speak up. The grifters feel threatened, both by you and Jake, as they should, though in a county that turned blue for the first time in the 2024 presidential election, creating meaningful change will not be swift nor easy. I love it when they say folks like you, or Clallamity Jen, can't be "journalists" cuz you have no degree or formal training. What hogwash. That's the kind of things people say when they're on the defensive and can't defend their positions with logic, common sense, or facts -- and hide behind pseudonyms like "Salsa Picante." The criminals of humanity ALWAYS have their "back doors" of exceptions that they construct, so they do not have to follow their own rules~! As an analyst I have known this to be true since I was a child, and I have seen it every single time I investigated an issue big or small ;-) Happy 4th of July~!
The great news is that as always, the criminals in government and the few "usual criminal suspects" in the community have further revealed themselves, again, and by this atrocious Constitutional offense they have no doubt shaken more sleeping sheep awake! Not the infamous "woke" slumber of the communists! Ha! Even better, Jeff Tozzer has NOT been silenced, and I expect that this violation of his freedom and rights has resulted in his renewed resolve to stay in the fight~! Of course, everyone who loves and respects Jeff Tozzer for his Patriotic efforts is now more resolved than ever, as a direct result of this grotesque violation of our American freedom and rights~! This is a direct assault upon ALL Americans within our community~! This is very clearly a HUGE net loss for the criminals in the local government and community, so they can just suck on that truth now~! These criminals are SO stupid, that literally everything that they do now is blowing up in their ugly faces and that is more than enough reason to celebrate this historic 4th of July~!
I would say I do have training and experience in court reporting; in fact, I have a degree in it. I was trained in preserving records and was a certified, licensed, and practicing guardian of the record. I understand the importance of verbatim reporting and would argue that’s a higher standard than just paraphrasing someone in an interview. I’m glad to not be a journalist and yet I am a ‘reporter’ with a degree.
The world is full of hate from the left’s messages to people who don’t agree with them. They try to ruin lives and destroy the country from within without firing a shot. This battle is not over it is the beginning of taking back what we have lost. Jeff thanks for starting the process and pointing out the differences that exist in our CC leaderships fraud and abuse. We all deserve better outcomes than this but DONT give up hope that we all can make a difference. I am sure that the next political move will be if your name starts with a ( J ) you are ineligible to run for office. Thanks again and I am more determined now to tell everyone Vote JAKE!

But I will still fight for what’s right! Just know you have been instrumental and getting the word out. When my father was running and appointed to his positions I know first hand how ugly politics can be.
Snakes will be snakes, they were taught and learned over the years. People can disagree on things but there’s no conversation anymore and that’s what’s sad.

I read somewhere that the governor of Idaho has a rule that for every new law, two must be removed. This makes so much sense (which is why we’ll never see it in WA).

The lesson here to everyone is valuable. Always get the name, time and date of the bureaucrat you are speaking to. Better yet, get answers in writing.
The golden rule among bureaucrats is straightforward: a phone call is great for brainstorming or fast, unrecorded problem-solving, but no official decision, policy deviation, or controversial directive is considered real until it is documented.
They are dividing Jeff and Jake, not in friendship or support though. Now Jeff is off the PDC leash and can be the watchdog he is. Jake can continue running for office. Rules, regulations, and laws are too confusing. No one knows anymore what they mean or how to interpret them. Every part of our lives needs a lawyer.
