Thank YOU, Jake and Jeff. Without your leadership and commitment, none of this would have happened. In my limited petition signature gathering, what I learned is that there are a LOT of local people who believe our government is both bloated and off track, spending loads of Margaret Thatcher's "other people's money" they don't have with reckless abandon on nanny state programs and so-called services neither required nor necessary. The tide is indeed starting to turn ...

Definitely, clearly, residents are NOT looking forward to their County 2026 tax bills!!!! Then pile on the state taxes! "What's (left) in your wallet?" is that Capital 1 asking or the CCC?

Robert, I'm barging in behind you on the queue line here, please excuse me, but I have to say, I've never heard so many positive comments as will be read below. There is a definite uplifting of attitude of "we really can make a change". It's absolutely infectious. Love it!

You're a class act Commissioner Seegers.

Thank you, to both you and Jeff, for making this happen. Thank you to everyone involved in this undeniably momentous grass roots effort.

It has been interesting to read and watch the citizens of Clallam County gel over time under the relentless dedication Jeff has given to the CCWD. My hopes were that we'd eventually be graced with people who are able to move the needle back to center, and it started to happen.

I see yesterday's vote as a gift and catalyst for everyone involved who are disgusted at the current state of affairs at 223 East 4th Street, Port Angeles, WA 98362.

Unless someone can change my mind I'm not for continuing efforts to fight the fee. I say this because sustaining long term change takes even more energy and time than we saw on display yesterday. From a logistical perspective any effort has to be concerned with how it uses it's resources.

While common for a perceived "F-you" to be met with another "F-you," those are emotions controlling us, and emotions have no intelligence. Those reactions drain long term energy.

Yesterday wasn't the first time, nor will it be the last, that the BOCCC will act contrary to the will of the people. These realities suggest focusing efforts soley on election cycles to effect a change to bring the BOCCC back to center.

Translating emotions into focused long-term goals is the challenge if any sustained change is to occur.

At this critical juncture I'd suggest a central meeting location be identified so that we can try to wrap our brains around a framework of what's ahead of us, should enough people decide to recognize the long term goals.

There are many functions that need to be fulfilled, everyone can participate if this is assembled correctly, even those who have challenges with mobility.

Thank you all.

I tend to agree, MK. But, now the Clallam Conservation District works directly for us. We're going to demand the transparency and accountability that the commissioners did not. Public records requests to Kim Williams is one way to achieve this.

Thank you sir for taking the “parenting” approach when sharing your personal stories re: how trust and care is taken in your own home.

That Jake is where good leadership begins.

What you are teaching your children is priceless.

It will build character and integrity & honesty.

That my friend is the foundation of leadership.. oh and Faith.💥💪🏼🇺🇸

The Commissioners are not taking care of their citizens and are NOT looking out for our BEST interests.

They won't stop the riparian science because its a property taking tool They admitted that at the 2021 SERN workshop which Kim Williams did attend.

Its been a long battle with those people.

Their science doesn't work for water conservation or for salmon, it only works for the SERN property buy back program.

I steam over it.

I am so proud to be part of the movement that I see coming. Big THANK YOU to JEFF AND JAKE!

Thank you Jeff for starting CCW, your inspiring words, your dedication to CC, your podcast, getting people involved etc,

Thank you Jake for your investigating deep dives with your MBA in use.

We have the best tag team going.

Just want to say Thank you also to all the CCW gang, without everyone’s hard work this wouldn’t have happened, we are making them squirm.

I agree that we need to have a strategy going forward. It’s a long haul that I learned from my father when he was in politics, we need to start now looking at the elections coming up.

Maybe have our own town hall to get more of the word out.

I see change coming to CC, watch out commissioners! you have unleashed the Trojan horse.

I agree with Jake Seegers 100% here~!

Jeff Tozzer and Jake Seegers deserve high praise for their heroic efforts, as does everyone who has played a role in this special time of The Enlightenment Movement where "we" (Americans & all of humanity) are breaking the evil matrix of corruption & enslavement~! As we all grow older, the young and future generations will marvel at our seemingly impossible accomplishments for a great many years to come and regardless of our Individual faults, past history, voting history, or personal "opinions", history will prove that we came together to destroy the "evil empire" that has been in place for thousands of years~!

Godspeed to all~!

Sincerely, Mike

Mike, you're right! Aren't we all just reaching back to our "hippie" days, we fought back then as we are now. Now we walk softly and carry a big cane. ; ) See you on Sunday!

Good morning, Jennifer~!

HA~! I had more than enough problems during my childhood, so actually adopting the "hippie" look was definitely not a good idea in my home. That said, I really liked the Beatles and the other great music of that time, and by the time my high school days rolled around many of my friends were considered to be "hippies" to some degree. So, I have always been in touch with my "inner hippie"~! HA~! Even though I worked hard between the ages of 9 to about 18 years old to have a US Military career, until I declined the offer of a congressional appointment to Annapolis, it would probably shock people to learn that I was as "anti-war" as any hippie, but that is just the truth... American Constitutionalists are NOT "warmongers" we are the exact opposite, however that does not mean that we are weak and not ready to defend America and Americans from any and all threats~! ;-) So, yes, now many Americans have had enough of the "evil cabal" and we may be "polite" but we are definitely carrying that Big Stick just in case~!!! Yes, the hippies back in the day were fighting the exact same "Deep State" (swamp) even though, much like today, they had problems with enemy identification. The great news is that Americans are getting a crash course in "enemy identification" now, which has always been the most important aspect of preserving our freedoms and rights... Have a great day and see you Sunday~!

Sincerely, Mike

“Olympic Peninsula Fungi Festival mushrooms…”

I wanted to see if My Clallam County had any news about the huge number of signatures presented at the meeting yesterday. Haven’t read anything yet except the above headline. Then again, it is “mushroom themed” and has a poetry reader…..that’s close enough to sum up the Commissioner’s responses.

We're all prepping for a Homecoming Showdown too! I don't know if it will involve cross country, unless John Worthington is chased down the hall again or a pool, unless the dog wash thing is raised, but I'm sure it will be a Roughride.

Oh yes, we have to flaunt our POET, bc other counties will be so jealous of our cultured tastes. So did we ever figure out who the little poet fairy is related to? It’s just not normal, or needed or justifiable.

I still can’t comprehend her work being essential to improving the CCCommissioners work environment.

Isn’t that the job description? Keep Commissioners out of mental health in-patient rehabilitation facilities. However, since they vote prior to feed back from the local residents , I guess a poet, a mime,

a few clown acts could turn Tuesday in to a full circus. Be sure Ferguson is invited. I call Donald later. He loves true Americans to come forward.

My letter to the Commissioners:

Clallam County Commissioners,

You were handed 1032 petition signatures to not pass the $5 parcel fee, yet you chose not to listen. You were presented facts and figures of financial mismanagement and math that didn't add up, yet you chose to ignore it. The one no vote cast, we see right through. It was nothing but a cowardly way to cover one's ass in an upcoming election. You had an opportunity to table the vote to give further consideration to the significant opposition, yet you decided to push it through anyway. We have had enough! We are organizing, coalescing, and gathering an army to oppose and throw out of office elected officials who fail to represent their constituents and pander to select groups, we know who they are. I will do my best to be a part of this opposition and will work tirelessly to put an end to each one of your political careers and replace you with people of integrity and honesty. We have had enough!

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I, as I imagine many of us, was depressed after yesterday’s snubbing by the Board of Clallam County Commissioners. A night’s sleep and listening to you this morning has tempered my rage and allowed me to look upon this as a victory. Many neighboring citizens have raised their voices and let those we rely on to manage the county that we want to be represented and heard. It is time for them to prioritize our desires as they do to the special interests of the boards they represent. From the movie Network, “ We’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore”.

Eric, we made a definite impact on Tuesday. Those 3 hamsters were not prepared for the backlash of frustrated and enraged voters. We came with facts, real metrics, 1,032 signatures, and strong voices opposing their overreach. French changed his vote; Ozias looked like he was being tortured from the inside out; and Johnson cowered behind his monitor the entire meeting, only peeking out to feebley ask a question. And we're not done yet.
