The League of Women Voters did not respond to yesterday's questions about the activist curriculum they are promoting in local schools. Here is today's email to the county commissioners:

Dear Commissioners,

After a week that included a standoff in Agnew, a major drug bust tied to a casino hotel room, and the seizure of large quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, firearms, and cash, do you see any connection between the county’s policy of distributing taxpayer-funded drug paraphernalia and the proliferation of drug dealing and crime that inevitably surrounds it? If government programs hand out crack pipes, syringes, and other tools for drug use, isn’t it logical that someone will show up to sell the drugs needed to use them? In other words, when the county supplies the equipment, are we unintentionally creating a marketplace that attracts dealers, traffickers, and the violence that follows—exactly the kinds of incidents residents saw unfold this week across Clallam County?

The Kitsap Co Sheriff officers wear body cams. They post arrest, descriptions and film to the public. The Sheriff gives statements to the public. This model would work well with Clallam County in establishing a closer relationship with the citizens. Right now, individual concerned citizens have to do the sleuthing. This type of reporting would be a nice handshake to make with Clallam County citizens. Below is their motto, and site. I like it!

I am a big fan of Sheriff Sanders in Thurston county. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RM8d_glWvyk

I also appreciate how Alex Villanueva in California was proactive for the residents and businesses of Venice Beach, though I think that made the homeless industrial complex come out in full force against him https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9acW5O2-C4A

In fairness. many emails that I have sent to PA council and CC Board plus CCSO and PAPD, often times Brian King is the ONLY one to even respond or acknowledge my concerns.

Jennifer's avatar

Susie, thanks again for information. Why doesn't Clallam County share a trusting relationship with the Sheriff's Office? It is always blamed on the police (who I can't give enough credit it) but is actually the Sheriff's Office who is afraid to voice opinions on why they can't enforce county and state laws. Fear of reelections? I would love for the Sheriff's Department to make statements. It isn't against the law!

Woops, it's old footage, but it sure would be nice for us.

Below is a modeled good-governance response: This is an example of how an individual Clallam County commissioner could respond to a constituent using a factual, accountable, and evidence-based approach; it is not an actual response from a sitting commissioner.

Dear Constituent,

Thank you for the question. I understand why residents are asking it after the week Clallam County just had.

My answer is that I do not have evidence proving the County’s distribution of safer-use supplies caused the Agnew standoff, the casino trafficking case, or the seizures of drugs, guns, and cash. I am not going to make that claim without proof. But I am also not willing to give the public the standard government answer and say, “trust us, the program is helping,” when the County has not clearly shown that with local outcome data. Clallam County’s own 2026 Opioid Gaps Report says it was not designed to prove or disprove the effectiveness of specific interventions and was not an analysis of current programs’ efficacy.

What we do know is that the County is participating in harm-reduction work, and that state and federal public-health agencies support syringe service programs as lawful public-health tools. The Washington State Department of Health says syringe service programs are community-based public health programs that provide sterile supplies, safe disposal, and access to care and support, and CDC says nearly 30 years of research show comprehensive syringe services programs do not increase illegal drug use or crime.

What we also know, from the County’s own report, is that Clallam still has major service gaps. The report shows harm reduction is already one of the more available service categories, while detoxification and withdrawal management were rated low across Port Angeles, Sequim, and the West End. It also identifies unmet needs such as expanded hours, stronger post-overdose outreach, transportation help, and more support for justice-involved people and families. That tells me the real issue is bigger than one program and that the County still has not shown the public which mix of spending is producing the best local results.

So my answer is: No, I cannot say the County’s supply-distribution policy has been proven to create the criminal marketplace you describe. But no, I also cannot say the County has yet earned public confidence that its current strategy is working as well as it should. Those are two different things, and good governance requires honesty about both.

As a commissioner, my job would be to stop the debate from living at the level of slogans. I would ask for a public report showing exactly what is being distributed, what it costs, what outcomes are being measured, and whether local conditions are improving. I would also ask for a public comparison of other opioid-settlement priorities, because the County’s own gap report shows serious unmet needs beyond harm reduction. If the program is working, the County should prove it. If it cannot prove it, then funding and policy choices should be reconsidered in public.

Sincerely,

Commissioner

Clallam County Board of Commissioners

I just don’t think our commissioners read, comprehend or care about the template you lay out. I hope it is fulfilling for you because the Three Blind Mice have never acknowledged your posts, that I am aware of. The problem as I see it, is they think they are doing a good job. If you continue to play that loop in your head, eventually it feels like reality. Yes that is warped and crazy , but look at these people, warped and out of control self esteem.

I tried awhile back to order rolling papers from Amazon and they won't ship to Washington State. Just yesterday I tried to order a corncob pipe, again, from Amazon. No go. This must be just a case of Amazon bending forward and grabbing their ankles for WA, not to be crass. I was able to order it directly from a company in Missouri and it looks like the order went through. YET.... they are all ok with handing crack pipes to druggies for FREE. Fuck this state. When silver goes as high as I expect combined with real estate going down as much as I think it will.... I will try to get out. Born here or not. Dagnabbit.

Jeff Tozzer's avatar

I'm using this tomorrow. Unbelievable.

Joel's avatar

The no corncob pipes or rolling papers via Amazon in WA? You can use anything you want always.I am kind of a rebel in more ways than I'd ever incriminate myself to here but some years ago I grew fourteen varieties of tobacco to see if any of them would grow well here. The head and shoulders top strain is called Delgold and it is very high in nicotine. If, for nothing else, goats love it worms don't so as a goat owner (they think they own me though) I would highly recommend people who are wanting to be more self reliant grow some. I research and usually test anything I get interested in and have been growing it off and one for a dozen years at least. If anyone is addicted to the stuff that is some good motivation if the are prepper minded because if they are not prepper minded, they either won't have it or will have to barter for it. WHEN the economy goes down the toilet. A single seed pod would fill up a football field likely, they are self pollinating and the variety I have will grow up to twelve feet tall if planted in direct soil. Otherwise about 5-6 feet tall in a 5 gallon bucket or eight feet tall in one of those half whiskey barrels. I have only grown it enough the past few years to make sure I have viable seeds but they are pretty robust seeds and I easily grew with 3-4 year old seeds. If someone wanted to do the old fashioned SASE (self addressed self envelope) where you put inside the outer envelope, to me, the folded envelope pre-stamped, to you and I would send a pinch to anyone who wants it. Perhaps I will do....heck... I WILL do it, that is more of a commitment, an article on Substack about the care of it. It is super easy but there are a few quirky things about them that would be good to know. I also have received a lot of compliments on it as the flowers are a pretty shade of violet/pink an shaped like trumpets. As a rebellious act of defiance I would grow it even if I just let my goats eat it later. It is legal to grow, possess or give the entire plant but once you remove the leaf from the stalk, verbatim, that is the line to not cross because once cut from the stalk, WA state considers it "processed" and they want their pound of flesh of course. I made some chew for the fun of it and a bunch of guys from my former job offered to buy it. I didn't want to deal with that so I didn't. These guys were all Copenhagen addicts and my stuff was at least as strong and one can use some whisky, rum or liquorish and your imagination to flavor it. One taller plant would probably make more than twenty or so cans of chew. Probably more. I've preached the merits of this to some of my Copenhagen addict former co-workers but nobody wanted to bother. I'll never figure people out I guess. Anyway....anyone can message me as I won't, for now post my PO box but case by case the SASE method would work and I wouldn't charge anything to patriots. Delgold was bred by Richter's Seeds out of eastern Canada. They no longer sell it but it can be found online. It is a cross between something like two parts American, perhaps Kentucky or Tennessee strains back crossed to wild Nicotina Rustica (close from memory) and this back cross results in a plant that looks like the commercial stuff but is more robust and super high in nicotine from the Rustica genes. Rustica's yellow flowers are spread all over the plant and they are insanely prolific. I grew that first before the fourteen others. The Rustica's leaves are smaller but much thicker and very veiny. More of a pain in the butt to process but I did it. I made a chew that made seasoned addicts of Copenhagen DIZZY. They use the Rustica to make commercial insecticide. I now longer grow any other variety as the pollen can travel a great instance and I didn't want cross-pollination. The "cultivated" (highbrow, muckitymuck) commercial varieties grow all the flowers just a the tops of the plant.

And Amazon wants to build a distribution center in PA. What are they going to distribute?

Joel's avatar

Do they sell coffins? That might be timely. But seriously, if them leaving Washington, if they do, hurts this state's coffers, I'm ok with that.

Trash, crime, open drug use and citizen’s cries for help are falling on deaf ears. When these complaints are brought to any of our leaders or other enabling NGO’S, each one points fingers away from themselves and blame the citizens (we need more money) or use false numbers to justify that their programs are working or just plain stick their fingers in their ears.

The 3 arrest for guns and drugs were people who lived outside of Clallam County. The 3 arrested have extensive rap sheets, especially the one drug arrest of the individual who was Coordinator for Clallam County’s Adult Drug Court and Juvenile Drug Court, programs designed to help people struggling with addiction avoid incarceration through court-supervised treatment...which leads to our very questionable Clallam County Court System, documented and covered by the Olympic Herald...which leads to JST, whose drug related programs are the beacon bringing Clallam County to its knees. It’s not irony that large amounts of drugs were found stashed in JST casino rooms.

Billy, you seem to be bitter about something, I don't know what, but to answer your questions, read Jake's site and interviews. Jake is one man who is fighting against the many opponents who have entrenched and established themselves in a good ole boys system. He is not a miracle maker as you seem to want him to be. I’ve never seen Billy T comments. No doubt just another whiner with no audience . I’m just going to guess here, but the bitterness seems to be covering up a history of resentment and anger. Probably a life episode that did not turn out well for Billy T.

Hey, just an opinion but when you throw yourself out on social media, you may not get the response( attention) you were looking for.

Billy T Wilson's avatar

That's funny. Asking a question, DARING to ask is bitterness? Wow, isn't that EXACTLY what we are seeing in the 'opposition'? And did I put a timeline on it? No... Miricle worker? Didn't ask for miracles asked for someone to DEMAND change, specifically. I thought you were levelheaded but when you write this hyperbolic response to my asking a question attacking my psyche that I do find disturbing. You want to anoint Jake no questions asked, your prerogative. I don't question your lack of healthy examination. Lemmings have been the enemy of CC that resulted in our current leadership. Don't be a lemming.

Jennifer's avatar

Billy, perhaps a healthy examination would be to ask these questions to the Commissioner who he is running against. He has the same power to do something NOW. Demand the same accountability, and let us know the answers you get.

Yes, you do come across as crass and bitter. Calm down, nobody is attacking you, but you are asking questions that aren't easily answered. He is one man, he can't cure what has been built over the years, but he can do his best. Who else would you recommend?

Billy T Wilson's avatar

I think we already know where they stand... I am calm, again you subscribe emotion when in reality your posts are at best passive aggressive. I didn't say Jake was off the table, not yet. I'm still waiting for something more than broad based platitudes. I read those bullet points on his web site. Now put some meat on those bones. How, how how how how... I am not a person who annoints another on faith. Find 2 hundred pretty words and you don't get my vote. That lady, already forgot her name, I saw at the Commissioner's meeting really laid it down with RCWs and specifics. You could see them cringing. Wait found it!

Good Governance Daily Proverb:

Good governance does not mistake constant response for real order; it measures success by whether public institutions reduce the need for sirens in the first place.

Dr. Sarah's avatar

Washington law and Clallam County policy both favor prevention over perpetual emergency response. County government is charged with protecting public health, coordinating crisis systems, planning for adequate services, and addressing root causes of homelessness and behavioral health instability—not merely reacting after the next siren sounds (RCW 70.05.060; RCW 71.24.045; RCW 43.185C.160).

If you see a recurring public problem, do more than post about it. Document the facts, submit the appropriate county complaint or request-for-information form, file a public-records request when needed, and bring the issue into public comment at the relevant meeting. I appreciate this comment but also see jurisdictional differences in response and jurisdictional overlap as a complication in enforcement and prosecution.

A good example is witnessing what I strongly believe to be open air drug sales transactions happening in PA just steps from the county courthouse and calling non emergency to make a report to dispatch. PENCOM answers for all agencies and routes those calls that occur in PA to PAPD patrol who might respond in person if they are not understaffed and if it doesn't rank in priority behind other current emergent calls. Then later when they get time to come by, "well I didn't see what you reported" or "They clear out when they see us coming" and as a citizen on the ground with a "colorful" background who knows what I am seeing, it feels incredibly futile. So I have started including in my reports "I am requesting that you share this information with OPNET." I still don't know if that helps as it seems the big busts here are ones they stumble into, or like this one it sounds like they might have been investigating some of the players but what accelerated action was an air bnb owner reporting a left behind gun and drugs.

Another instance of jurisdictional overlap that has me wondering- the gentleman that was recently murdered off Deer Park road had multiple lots up that road and past issues with drug related trespassing on his properties close to the ONP boundary. ONP LE and local LE have agreements to work together. WSP came in on the investigation and the only public follow up from CCSO indicates they are waiting on delayed crime lab results from the WSP crime lab which is "delayed". But look up the crime lab delays and you will see the lab is backed up over a year on murder investigations! How is this in any way acceptable? That is a state level failure. Are ONP LE investigating on the park boundary side of things? Is the Deer Park area of ONP safe with a pending murder investigation in the area? Is there so little care to look for a murderer on the loose because it was just a senior citizen who owned highly desirable real estate?

Dr. Sarah's avatar

@SusieBlake, I really appreciate this comment and everything behind it. You are not just criticizing from a distance — you are paying attention, reporting what you see, and continuing to push for clarity when the system feels fragmented and futile. That matters.

What you are describing is bigger than one bad call or one missed response. It is a governance problem created by overlapping jurisdictions, limited staffing, delayed follow-through, and unclear accountability. When residents repeatedly report serious concerns but cannot tell whether the information was connected, escalated, or acted on, public trust breaks down.

The questions the government needs to answer are pretty simple: When does a patrol report get referred to OPNET? How are repeated citizen reports logged and connected across agencies? Who is responsible when local, state, federal, and park jurisdictions overlap? What are the real crime lab delays, and how are those delays affecting active violent-crime investigations? And most importantly, how is the public supposed to know whether serious reports are leading to action rather than disappearing into the system?

Thank you for continuing to see, document, and say something. People doing what you are doing are often the only reason these gaps become visible at all.

Exactly why we want business up front instead of the behind closed door sessions with the local Mafia.

looks like the stated priorities, public safety and roads, as the commissioners state, are not first in line for funding. Millions of dollars spent on "supportive" housing, drug paraphernalia, MAT, and salaries of NGO staff while the rest of us citizens are navigating around the potholes of vagrants, drug dealers and users taking possession of sidewalks, business entrances, streets and sidewalks. Illegal encampments in our parks and trails are not helping our tourism economy. Maybe we have too many lemmings stampeding off the cliff that commissioners don't care about the consequences of their actions. The growing number of us must continue trying to turn the stampede by confronting our elected and presenting them with facts. Open our eyes, is our paradise we live in thriving? Is our economy growing? Do we feel safer walking our streets now than twenty years ago, or even one year ago? Has private enterprise been replaced with grant funded Non Governmental Organizations and non-profits? We need to fight for our freedom and the rights we enjoy, before they become lost in time immemorial. Write, call, email, attend meetings, and let elected know, "Your mad as hell and not going to take it anymore".

A big, big thank you, Jeff, for reporting all of this nafarious activity! I am a big fan of The Olympic Herald because like Jeff, Anthony saw a void and the desperate need for real reporting of real circumstances in our area. Small town, BIG city problems. Judge Basden, (former) Commissioner Parker, Lawyer Firm of Wolfley and Wolfley, and "Counselor" Watts are just a few names The Olympic Herald has featured in its substack posts revealing questionable hiring practices and professional actions by those who have power here in CC. Now we've read the connection between Agnew, 7 Cedars Casino in Blyn, and Kitsap Co. and the incredible job OPNET and other involved LEs have done. Next, it's up to the courts. Here's where the scrutiny has to be maintained. Local media sources thru TOH and CCWD are investigating and reporting to inform the public of the illegal criminal activity. They also name who is prosecuting, who is defending, and who is presiding over these cases. So, will these elected and appointed officials have the backbone to stand up to criminals and bring justice to all in Clallam County? The Ides of March are watching.

Holy CRAP....... If you read this entire thread and the account from the woman in 2012 who was victimized by a COUNSELOR. Sure, it was all "only" verbal but considering his position over her and her current (back then) life's problems, it is still one hell of a victimization. I've made a few posts here and elsewhere so I can't remember exactly where I posted my reply.... but this incident smells so close to what I posted I will put a close cousin to my other post here because it fits so well to this situation. I had become aware of a couple women who had been sent by the Clallam County Court to "counseling" at Clark's Counseling which used to be catercorner across the street from the hospital in Port Angeles on Caroline Street. That place was pulling in damaged women into actual orgies and who knows what ever else. Mrs Clark was allegedly BI so who knows what else? Like when they didn't have $ for their COURT ORDERED COUNSELING, the Clarks, Mr. & Mrs., now divorced, would let them "work it off" by doing janitorial work and, again, God knows what else? Mr. Clark ended up doing time for attempting to set the business on fire as they were going through a divorce later. Last time I saw him he was in an alley and a kid approached me at 3rd and Washington while I was on duty for the Sequim PD and told me there was a man behind a big trash dumpster and his legs were sticking out into the alley at risk of being ran over if a car went through there. Sure enough, there he was, passed out and moaning and covered with his own vomit and he had urinated the hell out of himself as well. I can't remember what we did with him but he wasn't arrested. I think he was taken away by ambulance and I never saw him again. The night Mr. Clark was passed out in the alley he had only recently been released from prison for the arson. Some years prior to this my first ex-wife had insisted we seek counseling for our failed...failed everything irreparable marriage. ... so I briefly humored the notion and went into their place of business, again, Clark's Counseling. I also learned that at the time my ex and I went in for "marriage counseling" that Mr. Clark had served time in prison before we went there. I learned at the time that they were the MAIN place judges would send people to fit DUI and for Domestic Violence or whatever else a judge deemed that "Anger Control" classes were in "NEED" of. In our case I was loaned a book on "Co-Dependency" which I read but insofar as "counseling", in my case only and in my opinion only I figured if one is self aware or INTROSPECTIVE and has the desire for improvement (intelligence helps too) that I didn't need to share my life with these people. I had a gut feeling that something was off. This was long before I discovered that the State of Washington was the EASIEST state in the union to become a counselor. Heck, tag along with another "counselor" for OJT and you magically can become one. In fact, a LOT of people come to Washington to become "counselors". As a side note to all of this, I have personally known half a dozen "psychologists" as well as two degreed "psychiatrists" and ALL eight of these people, at the very least, had a terrible history with their own personal relationships as well as substance abuse. The only one I knew who seemed normal was a gal I really liked who worked at the prison in Clallam Bay with me (CBCC) and I believe it was not suicide but she did end up dying from an overdose of pharmaceuticals tragically. I have heard, even from them (these various "shrinks") that it was inside knowledge, or perhaps said in jest, that they were more screwed up than the public at large to begin with and perhaps got into their fields of endeavor to figure out their own..... problems. Take this for what it is, my experience only and some of my opinion. It would be kind of cool if every damn judge who sends people to "counseling" read this account of mine. They have a lot of power over people and sending people willy-nilly to counseling like what happened to who knows how many women in Clallam County is a crime all by itself. In my humble opinion.

I believed I cured my own “C” word, several years ago. In my dad’s case as well as my 11 year younger brother, they had prostate CANCER. As it pertained to me.. I’d mention the “C word” only and I am convinced there is nothing. But at any rate I have absolutely no fear of death other than any inconvenience it would make for my wife. So I am still working on not sweating the small stuff, micromanaging anyone and stuff like that. Thanks for the reply.

Eric Fehrmann's avatar

I also have no fear of death, although not interested in hastening the inevitable, and also concerned with my wife's inconvenience. My father preached to me about managing the little things would allow the big things to manage themselves. I have a hard time managing myself and certainly have no credential to assume micromanaging others. I do want to provide my two cents to elected leaders who sought the positions and pledged to represent all their constituents.

Awesome Eric. I noticed a pattern my dad had but didn’t understand it at the time when I was a kid. A lot of things were patchworked in after his death by my mom during the twenty years she outlived him. Come to find out, the worst of it, with my dad, a lot of negative comments and nagging, occurred during times he had a lot of stress working in Oakland CA for AT&T in management during the good ‘ol Affirmative Action days. I started later to see this pattern try to “blossom” (does poison ivy blossom?) when I felt not in control on the macrocosm so I would be more knit-picky on little things with my own kids. I figured it out. I have also, since I do observe patterns (like when they hit you over the head like a club especially), noticed this in many other people, since figuring this out like with co-workers, COPS back when I was one…. that this seems to be a thing that during times of…. insecurity (?) that rather than nail the painting on the wall, because it is too high to reach, or maybe not even your painting to begin with, one is nailing nails on the wall randomly because at least they are nailing something. I just made that analogy up so I don’t know if it works…haha.

Thanks Mike. I appreciate any likes or feedbacks but a reply from someone who writes as well as you do is extra points. You mentioned previously some of the writers you were exposed to and I happen to like Samuel Clemmons (Mark Twain) and maybe a small part of that was his use of contemporary jargon, dialect or whatever. Wrote as a plain and simple man but of course he was anything but that. I hope you enjoy the weekend too Mike. I feel like, as far as weeks go, that I am on a carousel of days and the only one that really matters is every other Tuesday when the garbage truck comes. Being somewhat impulsive I think I will now listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Simple Man" before starting to do my critter chores. Have a good one Mike.

Good evening, Patriot Joel!

For some odd reason my "Likes" button here has never appeared to work, but that is cool because I do prefer the more personal comment response anyway. I also believe that folks like you are doing a great job and need to hear it. We are definitely NOT in competition with each other, because we are "The American People" who together own and manage our community and country by law~! So that makes us a team of many different folks who have MANY different strengths & skills that need to come together to fight the common enemy of our American Individual freedom and rights... Oh yes, Samuel Clemens is also one of my favorites~! I actually bumped into one of his living relatives a few years ago Online, because I was saying some good things about Mark Twain's writings. Yes, he was a master of writing in his own very unique style. We also regularly re-connect to nature here on our little "funny farm" and the critters do refocus us on our more important joy. We have rare white Roman Tufted geese that we really love because they are very beautiful and not overly aggressive or noisy. Excellent "watch dogs" though! This is the time of year when they lay eggs, and we are looking forward to MANY new babies in about 30 days or so. That is hilarious to see every year... Just about in time for easter ;-)) SO cool~! We will also have some baby goats in a couple of months as well... Dairy goats. Anyway, life in the country is a blessing and we would not have it any other way. Oh, you probably know that the criminals in the Washington State government are now pushing hard to take over control of the Sheriffs, which is of course an outright act of war. These criminals are also trying to illegally enact a state Income tax, along with their constant push to destroy the 2nd Amendment... HA~! Just like the WW II NAZI's did in Berlin at the end of WW II, they are pursuing a "scorched earth" agenda in Washington state (and several other states) right now, because they can see that the end is coming for them. They foolishly want to create as big a disaster as they possibly can, hopefully triggering a civil war, so that they can attempt to save their own lives from the HUGE laundry list of crimes that they have committed. They will of course fail miserably, and ironically, they will in their evil process COMPLETELY seal their own fates. Thousands of these criminals will be facing US Military Tribunals for committing Treason at a time of war, and countless crimes against humanity, so folks should brace themselves for the largest number of criminal executions that the world as experienced in many hundreds of years... All in due time ;-)) Stay cool and "we" shall beat them at their own sick evil game~! This is THEIR war against humanity, and "we" are just ending it the way that was always going to happen... Have a mellow evening and a fun Sunday~!

Sincerely, Mike

P.S. We are great fans of music and Lynyrd Skynyrd is VERY cool~! A few years ago, I suddenly realized exactly what The Eagles were trying to communicate with "Hotel California" back in the day! It actually makes perfect sense when you learn the truth about the corrupt music industrial complex! Ha! Go figure~! Good folks have been trying to tell "us" what has been going on for a very long time! I put together what the REAL message of the original "Wizard of OZ" was all about many decades ago, and that sure was illuminating~! We are seeing that truth being revealed in real time today~! Fun times huh??? ;-))

On the Wizard of Oz. After some time passin’ and people dyin’ I feel more ok with using real names with stories especially when there are unlikely any people alive who remember even the ghosts of the characters, let alone the actual character. In this case I was investigating a suicide in a residence in Sequim in the fall of sometime in the early-mid nineties. A woman shot herself in the head with a .38 Special out in the law mower shed of one, now also deceased, husband Mr. Earl Slatten. Earl was an avid shooter and reloader and also officially a little person. Like maybe four foot ten or so. His wife used one of his 38 reloads and did the deed after some time of strife over money. Apparently they couldn’t afford her new dentures or, at least, had been some fussing over that subject. So after we cleared Earl of being a suspect a bit of time passed like maybe two weeks and I contacted him to invite him over for Thanksgiving with my Ex-Family back then. Once we got to know each other and it didn’t take long, I found out Earl was in the Wizard of Oz, the original movie. Since I had kids at the time we had that VHS video around and put it in at his request. He had us stop it at the point just after the first marching in of the Munchkin Army when they were sort of rounding the bend. He pointed out which Munchkin was him. Those actors were hardly paid beans back then so all he had was a head full of old stories. He said Judy was a real bitch and his little co-workers didn’t like her. She was not nice to them. So when she fell through the trapdoor that the Wicked Witch popped up from, not paying attention to where she was walking, all the little people laughed. That was a cool time. He could not stand being in his house after losing his wife so he bought a small motorhome and for about four months he’d park it at our place in Sequim, Priest Ln off of Priest Road for days at a time and we’d hook him up with power and water. I miss ol’ Earl. There was always a fly in the ointment he used to always say. I guess they didn’t have lids back then. He went off to stay with a Niece in his little motor home and had been gone a few months when he came I to see me at the old Sequim PD. Just dropped in and surprised me. I almost picked him up. I was working out at the time and likely about 230 and he was still pretty little so I easily could have but I stopped myself about mid-lift. Earl had also spent time working in circuses and he had pictures of himself with Elephants (and they deserve to be capitalized) and some pictures of himself being picked up by his head using their trunks. Earl never called me and nobody had cellphones hardly back then. Come to think of it, this was maybe 91 or 92 since we were still in the crusty hole in the wall “Police Department” occupying three little rooms at City Hall at 152 West Cedar if that’s still where that is. I still remember that old hallway and hugging Earl as you cannot halfway pick up a person without a pretty decent hug. Somewhere in my crap I have a couple pictures of Earl standing next to my now grown forty year old kids when they were about nine and the kids were a little taller than him. Those kids at the beach with Earl are now older than I was when this story happened by at least a few years. Sadly, Earl stopped coming by and I have to assume he simply died of old age. He had to have been in his mid-eighties when I met him. That’s what mention of the Wizard of Oz does to my head.

I'll reply more when I'm more awake but in the meantime I wanted to say that I'd not only be ok with such executions, I have the stomach for being the actual hangman. I can't think of any other reason my dad taught me a proper noose. Thirteen loops and all. I have not only the stomach for the job but also the desire. I'd sleep well after a day of such activity. Slapping the horse's fanny would be my first choice as they, not the horse, kick a lot more from any close cousin to the short drop method.

A half pound of fentanyl and a pound of meth. That’s a start team. Good job. There were days, about 10 yrs ago, when we heard of the dangers of “just a speck” of fentanyl was “going to kill thousands”. What happened to that message? This crap is bad! Thank you law enforcement for the job you do. The “good intel” from Agnew was quite the buzz on social media. Loss lips!

When I hear of another arrest at the casino, I can’t help but think of “follow the money”. A group of out-of-towners with cash to burn. A nice room, meals, a spa treatment, and the craps table, let’s go stimulate the economy of Clallam County. Thank you casino security as well.

As for the arrest, booking and bail, a $250,000 bail will have those involved, back on the streets soon. Isn’t that $2,500 to post the bond?

Keep up to good work OPNET. Don’t let “grant” funding hinder your job.

Michael Heath's avatar

"Another arrest at the casino"?

I am sure that won't be the last ;-)

The bond is typically 10% of the bail, so that would be $25,000 to be released awaiting trial... While most would be hard pressed to come up with that $25K I suspect that these suspects won't have any problem "finding" that money because it would just be the cost of doing business for them... This is of course only the very tip of the iceberg of criminal activity here in Clallam County, so I wonder what else we shall see unfold?

Have a great weekend Patriot Ken~!

Sincerely, Mike

I think that'll cost them 25K. Still a drop in the bucket to Big players. I'm sure they have it all figured into their bottom line. EVERYONE gets their cut if they want to play in the sandbox.

Thanks, Jeff Tozzer~!

I take my own "polls" and always do my own analytical homework, but I understand that a new poll from a more credible source has revealed that nearly 30% of the American population now believes that THE GOVERNMENT is responsible for most, if not ALL, of the problems in America~! That % should be alarming, because it was the approximate % of Americans who were raging angry with the "government" when "The Shot Heard Around the World" was fired that started The American Revolution. When "The Government" becomes THE known problem, Americans always have the right and duty to eliminate that government, in the hopes of getting better Individuals to step into the necessary roles of the new government. We MUST not remove the good folks in government, but the criminals must go. So, it looks as if "we" can expect many Americans to now betray The Constitution in law and Spirit, by falling prey to one or more of the intentionally laid "traps" that the government has planted to get otherwise decent Americans to destroy each other. Just as the fake COVID scare tricked the low intelligence emotional and hysterical people into calling the police on those who were not wearing masks or gathering in groups as family and/or friends, these mentally weak and mentally ill "snitches" were green lighted by the criminals in government to rat each other out, which tears any society or community apart. This is EXACTLY why "we" here in the Pacific Northwest have the horrible national and world reputations of the NAZI's of WW II~! As a region we have become even worse than that unfortunately, so those of us who are NOT Brainwashed by the socialist/communist (satanic) matrix here need to step up our game to eliminate it~! The prelude to a civil war has been achieved~! Those of weaker Intelligence and/or irrational hate that is openly "encouraged" by the government, became the useful idiots who foolishly destroy themselves, their own families, friends, communities, and by extension America! I continue to see MANY foolish Americans who know damn well that they can't trust the media, the NGOs, and the governments statements, reports, and records, who insanely turn right around to trust these very same dirty and corrupt sources because in their insane irrational madness they actually become THE very problem that they supposedly dislike. Government reports & records can NOT be trusted, and to blindly do so will always lead to a disaster! One only has to look at the HUGE numbers of innocent victims who were falsely accused and imprisoned, only to be found later to have been innocent all along! Only a small fraction of these tragic injustices is ever revealed to the American society through the media, because the media is corrupted to only reveal a few cases because the criminals in government can't afford to have the population realize just how incompetent, corrupt, and evil the government really is~! ALL good Americans should really take the time to consider the very real probability that these arrest reports are not revealing all of the truth and could even be complete lies, because everyone with a functioning brain should understand that "we" can't trust the government in any way, shape, or form. It has always been that way, only many Americans are just now starting to wake up to the reality that has always existed in this so-called "Land of the Free"~! Yes, there are some dangerous criminals in our community, in and outside of government, so let us not ignore the very real possibility that the criminals in the government are also working with the criminals outside of government. That is almost always the case, especially in a particularly corrupt government. We as a society can NOT forget that even folks who have made mistakes (which is ALL of us) and folks who have committed crimes at some level (which is also ALL of us), should ALWAYS be encouraged, welcomed, and allowed to correct our mistakes to become better Individuals. To fail at this critical duty means that there is no incentive for anyone who is not "perfect" to ever improve themselves! We sow our own seeds of demise! Those criminals who do NOT change their ways, especially the deadly dangerous ones in and outside of government, are the ones who always do the most damage and they must be eliminated from a society if "we" truly want a better quality of life~!!! Guns and deadly drug sales going on in the local Jamestown 7 Cedars Tribal hotel that is managed by Ron Allen and his crony machine of destruction??? The last time I heard the rooms there were $350 a night and up, so that would be a telling location to look for criminal activity right where most would foolishly assume there was none ;-) Business is good for the criminals in Clallam County~! I wonder just how much of this Iceberg is still being hidden by the treasonous government and their controlled local media? We just subscribed to The Olympic Herald~! Thanks for the revealing article, Jeff Tozzer~! Keep the faith~! We need all of the good "flawed folks" that we can get to play a positive role in our community these days~! Everyone deserves a chance to improve themselves to become a good American ;-) The "problem children" who don't play nice need to go~!!!

Sincerely,

Mike

What’s with the Halloween costumes in March at these King rallies? Silly girls.

Michael Heath's avatar

Good evening, Patriot Ken~!

That is actually a VERY good question~! The obvious reason for the "costumes" is that for the past 10 years they have been viciously, aggressively, and in many cases violently responding against not only President Trump, but also the vast majority of Americans who have steadfastly continued to reject their evil satanic "progressive" socialist & communist agenda. These same insane lunatics and morons of epic proportion have trashed and burned down cities, injured and killed innocent Americans, destroyed entire states (Hello Washington State!), worn "vagina" hats threatening to withhold sex from men (OH THANK GOD~! ;-) called EVERYONE who does not agree with them every name in the book, attacked little children (that they could not kill outright buy abortions) by exposing them to sexual traumas and permanently disfiguring sex changes, conducted the largest scale mass murder Democide ever recorded in history that slaughtered over 20 million Americans alone (COVID mandates & vaccines), corrupted and stolen MANY decades of elections all over the US, and they have used the most vile level of unconstitutional lawfare to "persecute" a President and literally hundreds of thousands, if not many millions, of good Patriotic Americans for things that they never did... That is just the short list believe it or not~! So, these criminals of humanity actually believe that EVERYONE is going to forget their Hellish evil behavior, especially for the past 10 years, by them dressing up as harmless fun, nice, lovable cartoon characters waiving at us in a COMPLETELY fake friendly fashion as we drive by their gangs of complete A-Holes who are Hell bent on destroying America, destroying anyone who disagrees with them, and of course killing as many that they don't like as they possibly can~! Yes, they are THAT level of satanic evil and THAT stupid, to actually believe that their silly costumes are going to make everything ALL better and Americans will join them in their dreams of a pure Hell on earth~! Your question is excellent, and the truth is absolutely critical to appreciate, because we need to save America from these disgusting sick criminals of humanity now, or there is absolutely no end to the madness that they will create~! Have a great evening and keep the faith because things are FAR better than these lunatics want Americans to understand~! Better times are ahead~!!!

Sincerely, Mike

Hot news in the PDN today: at Ft Worden in Port Townsend a resident took a walk in the rain, and used an umbrella, which was also colorful! (In fairness everyone in Port Angeles known only tourists carry umbrellas so this is mildly newsworthy) In other big PDN news, it was windy AND someone flew a kite!

This is the absurd level of denial of reality we face in Clallam county. Feeling thankful for CCWD the Olympic Herald.

Your hypocrisy quote and definition perfectly describes Jim Stoffer and the LWV. As self proclaimed champions of equality I'm requesting a full disclosure of LWV managerial positions within their organization and promotion efforts for Caucasians, males and/or heterosexuals. Sidebar; I'm curious how sexual orientation is vetted/proven. I'm very suspect inequality lies there-in. Does the No Kings crowd really wants the Harris/Walz team at the helm; a frightening prospect. If CCW or other reporters are there, ask the demonstration participants when and how, via their Democratic process, they voted Biden out and Harris in.

Let’s go back and find out who actually hired Johnny Watts for the position of Clallam County Adult Felony Drug Court and Juvenile Drug Court programs and hold them personally responsible for all costs of his arrest and incarceration.

Why would anyone hire somebody who has a record as such, irregardless of whether or not they completed a Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee credential in 2011:

There are many other qualified people out there who are non users, non assaulters, non tamperers and don’t have a record, that qualify for this position.

2002: Assault in the Third Degree

2003: Assault in the Fourth Degree

2003: Two counts of witness tampering (domestic violence)

2005: Two methamphetamine possession convictions

2008: Three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm

Make someone in the County government accountable for unmistakably foolish decisions.

Oh, and make Patric Nelson and Johnny Watts accountable as well by not releasing them back out to the public.

I hope his arrest will encourage more of the persons he negatively impacted through the drug court system to come forward and share.

A lot of what we have been calling "communism" is actually "globalism".

For example the lockdowns were a globalist play to destroy a lot of small business to steal their market share, and if "communism" was the only word you had to describe governments destroying small business? Then that's the word you would use I guess.

"National Socialism" is the other term people like to use as a way to deal with a lot of these actions not exactly fitting the technical definition of communism, while fascism is so broad as to encompass any unliked government action.

But as we are learning from the Epstein files the reason 80% of America wants sane pro-humanity policy and the reason the 10% 20% popular prevail as much as it does, or even exists in the first place out of thin air... Is globalism, the "No Kings Match" type in banana suits humping the frog suit , its like a open air orgy to them.

The actions taken on purpose to increase street crime is a form of warfare.

It's not an accident.

It's not confused liberals thinking they are being nice and giving out 2nd chances.

If you talk to liberals they think they are giving out just 1 second chance to a minor criminal likely to be rehabilitated. The people actually handing out the 70X 7 second chances are not doing it for Christian reasons.

Thought:

Perhaps we show up with our own signs… get right in the middle….

Keep smiling, don’t even need to speak.💥🫢🇺🇸💪🏼

This hologram of democracy needs to be smashed.

“They” yelled at my 12 year old Grandson & called him a “Fascist” while in the vehicle with his family… simple driving down Sequim Ave.
