Thanks for another well written post! This organization practices double-speak. It seems that they have been able to walk a fine line for awhile, but now that the spotlight is getting a little too bright, their reactions are revealing their true nature/intentions.

Great info Jeff. These people have no intention of being transparent. They hide from the people they are supposedly trying to represent. Their mission is one bald faced lie and we are supposed to trust them. Democracy does NOT flourish behind closed doors it squashes it. Most of the heads at the Invisible did not seem to be qualified by their non voted positions. They can’t even list their background which makes one wonder why. I would boycott their businesses but monkey business is not in my punch list.

The organizers should rewrite their biographies to eliminate the inclusive mumbo jumbo and clearly declare themselves as proud hypocrites.

Thank you, Jeff, for another episode of Peel Back the Onion. We all know what LWV and Indivisible are, don't we? That's been evident since "time immemorial." However, the library allowing such a blatant abuse of stated policy, on top of sponsoring obviously political events and starting to branch out into areas not associated with traditional library functions? And they wonder why so many opposed the recent levy lift. It will be fun to watch the library board of directors answer questions about this meeting kerfuffle. As they say, silence speaks volumes.

Thank you for exposing these hypocrites. My closest friend is a Filipino business owner in PA. Once while she was in Costco, an OWL member of indivisible approached her with a business card and said, “here”.

My friend said “what is this? She said “well, you’re brown, we are here for you”. She said “I’m an American citizen. I’m not worried about my skin color”. That is racist.

Another thing-

A Nextdoor Admin reached out to me last year warned/advised me that “Rae Hesselbach” is having neighbors routinely kicked off the platform and that I might just want to preemptively block her- good advice- the dialogue on ND has been less combative without her. They are a nasty group of people IMHO.

I wasnt there so I don't know what happened, but how is it that Chief Smith and the library can defend these potential first amendment violations?

The only option the organizers had, if the police and library were doing their jobs, was to terminate the meeting. They held no power of ownership of a public space to have anyone trespassed absent disruptive behavior.

They have assumed control of non-profits, government positions and now our public library system. Hating America at every location.
