I've written, at least a dozen letters. It is clear that the worse these miscreant commissioners can make it for us, the bigger the problem they can create, the more launderable money flows in to "fix the problem", and disappears, [into their pockets?] while the "problem" grows and grows. I am financially able to be secure in a car or move elsewhere, but what about the thousands who are stuck here, who have to walk or take public transportation, and who are constantly exposed to these dangers? Arghhhh!
I've considered moving but a demographic shift can alter the political climate very quickly. Career criminals don't necessarily frighten me. I am more frightened by our regime that punishes a citizen who defends himself. For instance if I shot that Ethiopian while he was attacking me with a bat I would be prosecuted and Sequim would be filled with protestors. It is a lose/lose enterprise when one deals with a corrupt legal system.
Why does a dog lick its genitals? Incarcerating them, as should be done, takes resources the county does not have. By making the problem worse, more launderable outside money flows in, boosting their salaries, while their absolving the criminals is practice for the big league, so they can defend elites and political figures. They are using our tax money, NOT to help the taxpayers, but to boost their own careers.
We here in Clallam County need to take care of our own first and foremost, and a key part of that is to make sure that other areas and jurisdictions are NOT constantly sending their problems to us~! I am outraged by the criminally incompetent government & police in Port Townsend, who intentionally referred their problems to come into our community and there is absolutely no honorable excuse for them to EVER do that~! We need to send their problems right back to them, with a bill for ALL of the expenses that we have incurred, every single time these criminals in government elsewhere send us their problems until they get the message... This is a sick process that is constantly ongoing all over the US, where criminally corrupt governments send other communities their problems, so they don't have to deal with them, and it has to stop. We need fewer laws for "us" (the good folks of Clallam County and beyond) and MORE laws for the governments to follow with fines, penalties, and prison sentences for the repeat offenders~! Yes, the criminally corrupt fools in our own governmental systems right here in Clallam County are to blame for opening the door to these other criminals in other jurisdictions, and they ALL belong to the same "associations" and clubs, so we would be fools to believe that this little "shell game" of exchanging dangerous street criminals is not organized and planned ahead... Ha! The first thing that we should do is to send this hideous clown Navarra Carr to Port Townsend, because she is a nightmare for Clallam County and we already have enough criminals in our local governmental system~! How on earth did this socialist clown Navarra Carr get "installed" into the Port Angeles government in the first place? and who is doing this?
A small town that needs the same people in every available position. No! There are plenty of different people to fill every different position. Hey, I'm seeing tides turn on Next Door. Kevin posted an old SUMGUI article from 3/3/25 "WatchDog or Attack Dog" So far 5 comments, 3 of them support CCWD and feel it gives relevant news that they can't get elsewhere.

Hi there! Just a small clarification request. I’m not raising a content concern, only flagging a possible misattribution so the thread accurately reflects who posted the link. I, Kevin, do not have a Nextdoor account, so SUMGUI's article appears to be circulating independently now. That actually seems like a positive sign of broader interest and reflects on the commonality of 70's baby's names.
Thanks for taking a look, posting proportions, and as always, I appreciate the work you do informing us all - especially for the neighborly warnings to watch out for Jasons!
I believe this was Kevin E. I totally apologize that I did not give that information. This was Kevin E on Next Door and NOT our Kevin on CCWD. My Bad : (
State and local governments have a responsibility to keep us safe on our own property. If you’ve ever been burglarized (and then told by PAPD that it’s not really worth coming out for if the burglars are gone), you know how I feel.
SomeSome, absolutely, safety on private property is vital, but it seems private property owners are here to fund those who are "less fortunate" and need to resort to burglary in order to live. I am honestly sorry for anyone who was treated like you. Not to mention the leftover feeling of "rape" one feels after they have been robbed.
We had to get outside cameras after someone stole garden stuff. It was a sick feeling when I realized we had been robbed. I hate security cameras, but it was the only recourse.
The ironic part is that the PAPD officer who took a pass on coming over after we were burglarized was a woman; she became friends with my wife years later when her situation changed. She came over our house years later and I had to keep my mouth shut about how nice it was for her to stop by, lol.
How? Our only tool is via corrupt elections and a Tribe that keeps them in power? What other options do we have aside from taking up arms?
Here's an idea: In Idaho, the Old State Saloon is offering $10K and free beer for life to anyone providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of Boise Mayor McLean, who is proposing an additional $6.7 million to address affordable housing in Boise.
Do we have any wealthy businesses that will offer money for the arrests and convictions of our corrupt trio???
NOI, the only wealthy businesses are owned by the Tribe or corporations. The rest are struggling, but IMO there are enough CCWD's that a snooping around and digging up buried bones to expose the corruption. Perhaps a hand will be forced to recognize and convict due to shear numbers.
Affordable Housing is an excuse to change the demographics of an area, hence voting patterns. If somebody cannot afford to live in Sequim there exist many parts of our country that offer cheap housing. Why do they have a right to live here? Vail Colorado is a very expensive area and the employees either commute or they have room mates. I am sick of the philosophy indicating government is the answer to all problems.
IMO this is what happens when you push tourism. Some do well, those who keep the wheels turning, only survive, P.A. Not to supportive of business. Ask those on the. Waterfront.
I repeat. If you want change you have to VOTE. When our apathy allows small percentages of special interest groups to obtain political power, it is our fault. I have some complaints, but also realize I become insignificant when few agree with me and we become ineffective to vote in those who support my views. If you don't like our political choices, do something about it. As a friend told me, get off your duff and do something to support those you believe will do a better job of leadership and representation.
Voting only functions when the people paying taxes outnumber the people receiving a government check. In addition, the pathological altruists who pay taxes think the government solves problems instead of creating them.
We see criticisms of our current elected officials. When we have a minimal percentage of eligible voters voting, we get what we get. If you want change you have to have representation that includes a majority. If you want change you have to participate. Vote.
I lived in a blue county for years and voting made no difference. At one time California elected Republican Governors but the demographics changed the political climate even though the state has 5.9 million Republicans it always voted Democrat in national elections. Prop 187 was subverted by left wing judges. The "Three Strikes" law was subverted by judges and political activists.
The patterns continue. Sergey Kubai, mentioned in your Dec. 9 article after he had already been quickly "released by prosecutor" on serious charges was arrested early this morning on DUI drugs (again) plus posession of stolen firearm. Let's see how fast they set him loose this time. Prosecutor needs to be held accountable. https://websrv23.clallam.net/NewWorld.InmateInquiry/WA0050000/Inmate/Detail/-409283
Susie, is it normal "no bail - no bond"? I know of someone (a homeowner) who got a DUI and had to put up $1000 bail. The prosecutor also asked for an ankle monitor but the judge refused that. It was his first DUI and had no criminal history. Where is all this going?
And now legislators want to redefine anyone under 21 as a juvenile. Can you imagine? I've read about horrific crimes juveniles commit and they're treated with kid gloves (no pun intended). Now we'll have even more adults set free because they're just children and didn't know any better.
How does that work? Then parents of said juveniles would be responsible for them until 21? They wouldn't be able to vote? They would lose all their rights as adults? Car loans would be void or go to parent's responsiblity? That's basically destroying civilisation as we know it!
I think released by prosecutor means they declined to press charges. So LE went to all the trouble to book what they believe to be a good case but no charges filed in court, no appearance before judge. I think Dismissed = dismissed by judge at hearing
Don't worry if you see Mohado walking towards you on the trail with a bat, or find yourself driving through the east PA 101 lane shift gauntlet with Sergey or Labran DUI next to you, perhaps with stolen firearm in hand. I am sure they are just here to pick up a free pipe or three and put their name at the top of the PBH Northview list. After all, they want to help the "frequently incarcerated" so the prosecutor is just giving them a boost with free release so they can up their arrest numbers and their spot on the list.
Again I ask, if our commissioners will not make our communities safe, if law enforcement is spread too thin and underfunded, if clever lawyers and lax judges release criminals back to the streets to assault us, what is left to do? What are our alternatives? Ride public transportation armed? Patrol neighborhoods ourselves, again armed? Physically threaten the ne'er do well commissioners? Move to another town? What are our alternatives to ensure safe neighborhoods, public transportation and trails free of violent criminals? Voting the miscreants out is a given, but with corrupt elections, that is an uphill battle. Meanwhile, people are assaulted, kids find syringes in creeks, and tax money that COULD BE spent on an additional deputy is instead spent on boofing kits and pizzas? Is this the Bizarro World introduced in DC Comics in the 1940's? Beam me out of here, Scotty, and help he find intelligent life in government.
A long time ago I saw a documentary about a group of British citizens who became vigilantes. Apparently, a group of immigrants were molesting and raping little English girls in the neighborhood and the British police made no arrests. So the vigilantes began attacking the perpetrators and the crime rate plummeted. The chief inspector was furious and uttered the old platitude "You can't take the law into your own hands". I believe the citizens proved the axiom to be false.
The conflict Navarra Carr and the Public Defenders association have is that they're gleeful about the recent Washington State Supreme Court ruling. AKA, another group of progressive minded people who are controlling the criminal problems our state is enduring. Many public defenders are employed by private law firms who fatten their wallets at our expense. I believe Clallam County is trying to figure out how to make them employees of the county to save money. Good call.
Olympia is screwing us as well, and our local leaders do nothing to fight it instead going to Olympia, and WASAC, to raise our taxes and find new ways to screw us more.
Some of the tone here is blaming prosecutors, and that misses the point where blame belongs. No one, IMO, wants to be a prosecutor to simply let criminals go to run amok some more. They're saddled with the same ridiculous Olympia and WA State Supreme Court rulings/laws that force their hands, just like law enforcement.
If you want to be pissed, be pissed at the root cause.
"The recent Washington State Supreme Court ruling regarding indigent defense will likely lead to a substantial increase in public defender costs for local governments.
The core of the ruling is a significant reduction in the maximum caseload limits for public defenders, which is being phased in over a 10-year period, starting in January 2026.
Here is a breakdown of what this means for public defender costs:
💰 Key Impacts on Costs
* Need for More Attorneys: Reducing caseload limits—for example, cutting the annual felony limit from 150 to a target of 47 case credits per attorney—will require cities and counties to hire a much larger number of public defenders to handle the current volume of cases.
* Recruitment and Retention: Local governments will face higher costs for recruiting and retaining qualified public defenders in an already strained market, potentially including higher salaries and better benefits.
* Local Burden: In Washington, cities and counties bear the vast majority of the public defense costs, with the state historically covering a very small percentage (around 3-6%). These new standards place an immense financial burden on local budgets.
* The Phase-In: The court has ordered a 10-year phase-in, requiring an annual reduction of at least 10% toward the new standards. While this provides time, it mandates a steady increase in spending on public defense staffing over the next decade.
* Risk of Case Dismissals: If local governments fail to meet the new standards due to a lack of funding or staff, they may not be able to provide the constitutionally required representation, which could lead to courts being forced to release individuals accused of crimes or dismiss cases.
🏛️ The Ruling in Brief
The Washington Supreme Court adopted new standards that:
* Significantly reduce the number of cases a public defender can handle annually (e.g., aiming for 47 felony case credits and 120 misdemeanor case credits).
* Require a 10-year implementation timeline, starting in January 2026.
* Shift to a "case credit" system to account for the complexity and required workload of different case types.
Local officials and associations are actively advocating for the State Legislature to increase state funding for public defense, arguing that the state's current contribution is insufficient to meet the constitutional and ethical requirements imposed by the new ruling.
The mayhem is tolerated, excused, downplayed, ignored, and allowed to continue in order to benefit the Navarro Carrs of our world, all the low-life’s that capitalize on the misery of their fellows while pretending to do good.
This is not accidental. Usually when something goes haywire, it used to be common to take a step back and retreat to a time or conditions when things were not a problem and start over. Maybe it wasn’t perfect, nothing ever is, but our ancestors were capable of addressing these issues. We are just supposed to give these POSs more money and STFU.
The Dungeness School House. I’ve driven by but never gone inside. Does it have high ceilings? I recall tall windows, so it must. The windows open at the top and bottom, I believe. Why are these features important. Does it have steam radiators?
The old Lincoln School in PA has those features. It’s the only historical building I’ve ever seen where the libs aren’t rabid about preservation. Is it because it is a testament to their treachery?
(Caution: canned rant ahead).
Why do you think some school officials now want later start times and 4 day weeks? Why little or no homework? It’s racist, don’t you know? Nothing to do with the fact kids have a harder time concentrating. Their homes are as bad or worse than the schools.
Seems there is an issue authorities don’t want to address. Over forty years of it. It has now created an epidemic, a mental health crisis and stupidity crisis.
Look up Berkeley Labs’ study of the impact of 1,000 ppm CO2 on learning. (Sponsored by NIH. Read their summary too). There are more serious mental and medical problems that are not discussed.
How about more fresh air for teachers and their students? Why are females taking over teaching? Why were there no adult males killed at Sandy Hook?
Why are more males affected by SIDS, autism, and ADHD?
Why are boys the first to become distracted and act up in school?
Here’s how you reduce anxiety, mental illness, ADHD, violence, and more in your school - learn what our ancestors knew. Study a school built in the 1920s after the Tenement House Acts and the Spanish Flu.
Notice they didn’t provide just one source of incoming fresh air that could be filtered/masked. They did the opposite.
High ceilings that increased the total air volume, so the exhaled CO2 remained a smaller portion of the air, lower parts per million, many tall windows that opened at top and bottom for good air circulation and to bring in fresh air and let stagnant air out. Window sills close to the floor below the level of students noses seated at desks. CO2 is 50% heavier than air and tends to go down, filling a room from the bottom up. A window opened at the bottom allowed the CO2 to escape before getting back up to nose level.
Plus, each room provided its own ventilation, so kids weren’t breathing the same air as kids in another room.
The “class size” complaints you may have heard teachers make today is really because of the CO2 and poor ventilation. The average class of 20 students now has CO2 in their air as if 46 were there.
Kids weren’t sexually confused or shooting other kids before tighter homes and schools with high exhaled indoor CO2 and poor ventilation because of climate lies.
In 1995, the CDC said to treat violence as a health issue. What did they know and hide?
Was this the beginning and excuse to over prescribe opioids?
Did Behavioral Health Pill Mills appear everywhere?
BTW, the result of tighter buildings is more energy use.
Can you guess why we were more civil when ashtrays were everywhere? Healthier too.
I have many times followed the trail of these highly questionable socialist scumbags that get "installed" into governmental systems all over the US, and they ALWAYS track right back to the socialist criminals who preceded them (funded by VERY subversive sources).
Nowadays, they are mostly funded by your tax dollars. Little gov Fergie is just delirious with anticipation at the thought of getting his hands on FEMA funds for flood victims that he can redirect to his NGO buddies, And probably slip into the general fund for all his future foreign family voters.
Good luck on that. They are very good at how they redirect (steal) funds. All they have to do is put them into a budget (say medical expenses) and now, they can use them for their illegal invaders free medical program.
These scumbags are EXTREMELY good at "gas lighting" the population with all sorts of feel-good virtue signaling BS, but with a little research and creative thinking you can at least discover that the money that they steal sure won't be going to many who really need it... These criminals will widely publicize a couple of cases where they helped folks, they will manufacture make believe people that they supposedly helped out of thin air, and they will loot the majority of dollars that will disappear while everyone is looking the other way! It is their "go to" game plan, and it works VERY well.... Until now ;-)
"Little nob Bob" Ferguson (the slimy warted frog) who was fraudulently "installed" as Washington State governor, did in fact intentionally blow this rather normal storm event WAY out of proportion when he declared the phony "state of emergency" so he could defraud the federal government and steal as much federal funds as he could get his thieving hands on. No doubt that money will disappear into the abyss of the criminals in government and their evil actors, with no accountability or accounting for it! The Federal DOGE investigators are still alive and well however, so "nobless Bob" may just find himself in DEEP trouble that he is likely too corrupt and stupid to see coming~! That works too... ALL of the state governors know very well that whenever they can find any excuse to declare a state of emergency, real or contrived/imagined, that the floodgate of federal money opens up for them to rob without ever having to pay a penny back~! You are also very correct, that these criminals of humanity and their criminal thugs who are "installed" into our government, ALWAYS use our own taxpayer money against us to destroy our country and to even kill us~! Nice huh? Anyway, that is a very old method of waging war as a traditional military tactic. Just use the sucker's own money & "useful idiots" against them~! The only difference when the same tactic is used as a political weapon by the criminals in government, is that they only need to trick the simple-minded sleeping sheep of a community and/or country into demanding that they have public money used to destroy themselves! Odd sounding, but all too true, and behold, that is what we see here every day in Clallam County, all while most are falling all over themselves to find ways to ignore & excuse the obvious... Humans are extremely strange creatures~! Well, have a mellow weekend and I hope that you are getting ready for a merry Christmas (or merry whatever you like ;-) Sincerely, Mike
Well, thanks to those, like you and many here on The Watchdog & beyond) who are aware of these scumbags and their habitual highly predictable criminal behavior, the criminals all over the US and world right now are being identified, understood, and revealed more today than at any other time of history~! This is indeed a VERY painful process, but a VERY necessary one~! These scumbags are now effectively caught in their own trap that they set to enslave "us", because they can't quit or the immediate resulting improvements would be visible for all to see (where they would not be able to answer the uncomfortable questions that would ensue). They can't change or really alter their "attack plan" or that would reveal their evil agenda... So, all they really can do is to stay on their evil criminal agenda and "double down" on it whenever they can, hoping that folks will forget and/or quit~! Not bloody likely as long as many of us are still alive and kicking~! Therefore, I wouldn't get too cocky right now, because these criminals of humanity always have another bioweapon mass murder genocide plan as their last resort, and killing many billions of humans is in fact their ultimate goal (See; "The Georgia Guidestones" = now "terminated and erased" ;-)) So "hope" is good and prayers are great, but too many already see these criminals of humanity for exactly who they really are, and that my friend is their worst nightmare that they can see is coming true~! They have always succeeded in controlling "us" through their evil "fear porn" illusions, but now they wake up every day feeling the fear that they have NEVER before experienced~! HA~! We (The Patriots) have broken their fear induced chains of enslavement, and THEY are now for the first time in many hundreds of years experiencing the fear that they have always dreaded! Yes, I would also be worried, if I was one of these criminals of humanity, but those who live in fear have already made THE most serious mistake, especially at a time of war~! Keep the faith and keep up the good work~! They are screwed, and not in a "good way"~! Ha Ha Ha!
My broken record recommendation is for Government to divest itself of any and all social engineering, ( MWBE, DEI, native / indigenous / tribal, other nationality, sexual orientation, etc. ), and reinvest those funds into law enforcement. Free is never free and it attracts the very elements society wants to discourage.
I honestly do not get this revolving door and inviting criminals to the county. Were CC and PACC not raised with parents to taught consequences for actions growing up?
I just can not wrap my head around this concept. I also know my parents were not unique in the way they raised me.
There is right and there is wrong. Right will get you kudo's. Wrong will get you grounded period.
Kristin, you are so correct, unfortunately those standards don't seem to apply anymore. The younger generation (with credit cards) believe in instant gratification and haven't been taught consequences. When the consequences come to surface, they are totally unprepared.
Today's email to the county commissioners:
Dear Commissioners,
Why do you think out-of-town criminals keep arriving in Clallam County?
All three commissioners can be reached by emailing the Clerk of the Board at loni.gores@clallamcountywa.gov.
I've written, at least a dozen letters. That's what they want to happen.
Yes.
and why does prosecutor keep releasing them without consequence

I can't answer that question but when I tried it my neck was sore for days.
ROTFL! Next time, take a selfie to share.
lol
because the "revolving door" provides job security for government employees.
No, it's because it's part of the overall plan for the area.
Exactamundo!
Great solutions list! Amazing how our current leaders have zero interest in the public good...
They are not leaders. They are appointees at best.
And you are too kind .... I'd love to call them what I really think!!!

Vote, and either give to a campaign financially, or get involved with your time supporting a campaign.
Now is the time to start financial support for Jake. Any amount monthly over the next ten months will add up.
Where is all this going?
from what I see, the number released by prosecutor is escalating
And now legislators want to redefine anyone under 21 as a juvenile. Can you imagine? I've read about horrific crimes juveniles commit and they're treated with kid gloves (no pun intended). Now we'll have even more adults set free because they're just children and didn't know any better.
Well then the misinformed emotionally controlled can't vote until they're 21.
If the criminal is released the LEO's still receive a paycheck
Don't worry if you see Mohado walking towards you on the trail with a bat, or find yourself driving through the east PA 101 lane shift gauntlet with Sergey or Labran DUI next to you, perhaps with stolen firearm in hand. I am sure they are just here to pick up a free pipe or three and put their name at the top of the PBH Northview list. After all, they want to help the "frequently incarcerated" so the prosecutor is just giving them a boost with free release so they can up their arrest numbers and their spot on the list.
Speaking of numbers. I don't think people here just want to be another number at the morgue, me neither.
Yes it is Bizarro World !
Honey can you go out side and bring in the trash ? Yes dear “
lol
We only have two choices in life, cut and run or stand and fight. Fight!

Great comment Patriot Don Beeman~!
I have many times followed the trail of these highly questionable socialist scumbags that get "installed" into governmental systems all over the US, and they ALWAYS track right back to the socialist criminals who preceded them (funded by VERY subversive sources).
Sincerely, Mike
Nowadays, they are mostly funded by your tax dollars. Little gov Fergie is just delirious with anticipation at the thought of getting his hands on FEMA funds for flood victims that he can redirect to his NGO buddies, And probably slip into the general fund for all his future foreign family voters.
Lloyd, I hadn't thought of that. I'm going to follow the progress of FEMA funds. Thank you
Good luck on that. They are very good at how they redirect (steal) funds. All they have to do is put them into a budget (say medical expenses) and now, they can use them for their illegal invaders free medical program.
Yes, wonderful Jennifer~!
ALWAYS follow the money ;-)
These scumbags are EXTREMELY good at "gas lighting" the population with all sorts of feel-good virtue signaling BS, but with a little research and creative thinking you can at least discover that the money that they steal sure won't be going to many who really need it... These criminals will widely publicize a couple of cases where they helped folks, they will manufacture make believe people that they supposedly helped out of thin air, and they will loot the majority of dollars that will disappear while everyone is looking the other way! It is their "go to" game plan, and it works VERY well.... Until now ;-)
Have a great weekend~!
Sincerely, Mike
Yes, Patriot Lloyd~!
We can only hope they will catch him lurking around the cookie jar and slam the lid on his grubby little fingers.
Ha Ha Ha!
Sincerely, Mike
Perhaps the Dungeness School has a wood burning potbelly stove. Regardless, radiant heat is best!
Another thing ( 3rd cuppa helped the brain) regarding this catch and release they do.
They are putting OUR LEO's at risk over and over again. Either they have to live with taking a life or being shot over the same old POS's!!
Why would our LEO'S even want to work here? Let alone live here knowing what they know. :(
Yes I am grateful to those LEO's who do remain here.
What is MWBE?
I think it's Minority/Women (owned) Business Enterprise.
Jeff has it correct.
