Sent this morning:

Dear Commissioners and Director Emery,

This letter addresses the Climate Vulnerability Assessment (CVA) and its role in shaping the Climate Element of the Comprehensive Plan.

The CVA identifies Tribal communities—and specifically “especially Tribal elders”—as uniquely vulnerable. It frames climate impacts through the lens of “settler colonialism” and calls for prioritized treatment of one group in emergency services, resilience funding, weatherization, zoning decisions, and environmental-justice reviews. This approach distinguishes residents by race or ancestry rather than by shared factors such as age, health, income, or location.

Such distinctions represent a major step backward. Every resident of Clallam County is entitled to equal treatment under the plan that will govern the next twenty years. Language that elevates any racial or ethnic group above others divides the community and conflicts with the principle of equal protection.

The CVA should be discarded or substantially revised so that it does not institutionalize race-based preferences. Planning should rest on actual risks faced by all residents, not identity categories.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

2027 is going to be brutal. Insurances are being terminated and replacement PPO plans are looking dismal. There is no way in hell I am going to tighten my belt again and not get any budget cuts out of this county. I am not paying into a non-profit to pay someone 260 grand a year to do something that doesn't work...If my belt gets tightened for the third strait year there are going to be some major cuts in this county. No increases... If anything roll backs..

Good morning Jeff and Doggers,

I can't stand racism. When our county government leans on it to make up our future plans, it's deplorable. We must put this plan to an end.

Thanks to all and have a good day.

When Jake wins this November, Mike will go on the tribe's payroll where he should have been all along!

TURN IN THOSE BALLOTS AND VOTE FOR JAKE SEEGERS!!!

The feds have to step in. The Supreme Court has ruled restorative justice in all forms is unconstitutional. They have been using non-profits for 14 years to engage in racism. Its time to stop them from these unconstitutional acts.

John, by now, if the citizens have been following the news of the decisions of our County Commissioners, they have to recognize we have only ourselves to fend off blatant racism. The Commissioners are not our friends, but rather political ladder climbing vampires.

Do you need any more evidence that the real power “behind the curtain” here is Ron Allen and JKT?

Maybe its my age, but discrimination seems all too simple to me. At its core discrimination can never not exist. Which flavor ice cream ?, fish, chicken or red meat ?, shorts or long pants ? etc., etc., etc.. All are discriminating choices. If you chose a life partner, you have by that choice discriminated against all other possibilities. While discrimination is unavoidable, consciousness of it matters; particularly when it come to racism. Every member of every ethnicity is unique, so discriminating by ethnicity truly is wrong thinking. It is ancestry that particularly troubles me. Why do some ancestries matter, while others do not ? Actually a great question worthy of some contemplation. Is there some fairness of logic in determining what a person may be entitled to exclusively because of their ancestry ? What does any Government from federal to the smallest municipality do or what laws exist to help Caucasian, heterosexual males ? In my life the physical characteristics last described are the only ones that have never been considered for minority status. However; if you have any awareness of reverse discrimination, they have. Government has no business in racial discrimination, regardless of any and all measurements you can imagine. Merit is the best unbiased measurement for any entitlement; certainly not who your Daddy was.

Neocolonialism is and was always racist, "We will manage you better than you can manage yourself" and is victim-orienting creating an unbalanced power center. The administrators and their policies control those with victim status. The US constitution and Declaration of Independence ensures Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness to all people. Didn't we fight a bloody war that ended up rallying around that theme 165 years ago? That war decided it. Anyone pressing to divide people has a deeper agenda or feels guilty for something deep. And the irony of using Climate, an unknowable distant future issue. It's been much warmer in the past couple thousand years and much cooler. It's all so silly and tiresome. Can't we just put the nonsense away and all be friends!

DEATH BY A THOUSAND CUTS. THIS ONE IS AIMED AT OUR JUGULAR VEIN. WHY? IT WILL BE USED TO GAIN WATER AND LAND RIGHTS IN THE ‘LAND BACK’ PUSH.

As written in this article, “Zoning and land-use decisions under the Climate Element could require “environmental-justice reviews” that gives extra weight to Tribal interests, while private landowners face new restrictions justified by the same assessment”...(most importantly) Health-impact assessments and partnership requirements are already appearing in draft COMP PLAN POLICIES.”

(1) WHAT ARE COMPREHENSIVE PLANS? WHY ARE THEY IMPORTANT?

The comprehensive plan, sometimes also referred to as a master plan or a general plan, is the foundational document of long-term planning and zoning. The process and the documentation for creating a broad, long-term vision for FUTURE LAND USES and the built environment of communities. A comprehensive plan lays the foundation for ZONING CODES, the LEGAL TOOL for implementing the VISION OF THE FUTURE CONTAINED IN THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.

(2) COMING IN THROUGH THE BACK DOOR. JST is ready, are we? Below is a Request for Proposal from JST for bids to solicit proposals from qualified consulting firms to modernize and streamline the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe’s (JST) environmental data management systems. Our Commissioners are helping them on gaining control of land and water rights by not looking out for the land owners in Clallam County. I call this Aiding and Abetting. All of this extra data (a paper trail) will be used by Congresswoman Emily Randall in her legislation to turn the Dungeness and Protection Island National Wildlife Refuge into Reservation land.

“March 2026: Dear Potential Bidders and Qualified Consulting Firms,

The Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe (JST) invites you to submit a proposal for the modernization and streamlining of our environmental data management systems, as detailed in the Request for Proposals (RFP)

(3) THE TRAIN IS IN MOTION, WE AREN'T ON IT
