Congratulations SC. I am sharing with u my addiction story. I haven’t shared this with many people. I was addicted to cocaine for 24 years. I didn’t lose my wife job or my house but came close. 20 years ago I found the Lord and quit over 20 years ago overnight. Never relapsed once but still don’t drink or go near people who use. It took changing my habits friends(so called) and a hidden lifestyle that wasdevastating to my family. Until one hits the bottom or finds an alternative path no program that the leaders are pushing will save you.
You have to WANT to quit! The path that our CC pushes is allowing the addicts to continue the lifestyle without consequences and delays the inevitable result of being clean if death does not happen sooner. Quitting is the only way to get better not partial treatment or desire. Thank you SC and keep up the sobriety.
