The League of Women Voters did not respond to yesterday's email. Here is an email sent to the Commissioners today:
Dear Commissioners,
Clallam County has invested heavily in harm reduction built around opioid response. But now substances like “Rhino Tranq” (medetomidine) are emerging—often mixed with fentanyl and not reversible with Narcan.
Given that shift:
How is the County adapting to drugs Narcan can’t reverse?
Do you have any plans to let the community know that a new, powerful narcotic has arrived?
At what point do you reassess whether current harm reduction strategies are actually working?
The drug landscape is changing quickly. What is the plan to keep up?
"Rhino Tranq" you say? My frat parties must have been boring compared with the modern version. However I do remember rumors about horse tranquilizers utilized at parties during the Nixon Administration.
Yeah, we just had the "usual" drugs, like marijuana, cocaine, speed of various sorts, and loads of alcohol. Our worst fear was if we got a hold of some dope laced with "angel dust". Deadly. However, the locals in the Seattle area felt safe from that. We bought marijuana developed for lukemia patients by the UW on the streets. THAT wouldn't likely have been laced.
History is exactly that: His Story written by the victors. Control the story of where you came from and you control the story of where you’re going.
When you can convince the people that you are the rightful heir to the throne, you can move into the castle and rewrite the laws to prove it’s true. The truth doesn’t matter if the history books and laws validate your story.
That’s where this all goes. Laws to validate stories that future generations will not be able to question because they will become gospel.
From two great "George" philosophers -- Orwell and Carlin -- the phrase "Control the language, control the narrative" comes to mind everytime I hear about Ron Allen and his minions knowingly distorting history. Keeping such an partial voice out of the educational process seems pretty important, if you want future generations to know the truth.
4 Reasonable development: thank you for posting the article re suing the state to continue raising non-native fish! So much for Allen and JKT “stewardship” myth. Suing the state to continue polluting Puget sound and Salish Sea waters takes heaps of money. Where does JKT get the millions it takes to sue year after year? Casinos? Gas? Golf? It seems they have unlimited wealth!
Sorry there should be no subscription for this article? I can post its entirety if you need? Jamestown failed & caused an ecology disaster when they introduced Atlantic Salmon farming to the Puget Sound and the pens were breached 2017. It was devastating to the salmon population & they were banned from farming by the feds. Jamestown sued citing all the usual snake oil stories but they still lost! Now the Jamestown tribe wants to farm Pacific Oysters, another non-native shellfish in Dungeness Bay & sell oysters to China. By gaining ownership of our National Park & Refuges, including Protection Island they will be able to easily farm the Dungeness Bay without federal interference. Protection Island has prime waterways for farming also & the waters are considered protected too. The article explains an accurate depiction legally what has occurred regarding Jamestown and how they ARE NOT good stewards.
It prints the beginning 2 paragraphs, but then says I reached the end of my free subscription. I guess my questions is, if JST takes ownership of the land does any of the lawsuit(s) matter?
Google this & see if something comes up you can read:
APRIL 10, 2026
Aquaculture representative group drops lawsuit against Washington net-pen ban
The lawsuit is about a farming operation the Jamestown tribe did in 2017 where they introduced Atlantic Salmon (non-native fish to PNW). The tribe did this because Atlantic Salmon are bigger & more fish more money. The pens broke and the Atlantic salmon were released into the wild ocean to spawn with our native Pacific salmon, Kings, Silvers, etc., This breech could destroy our native fish lines & interfere with the natural fishing. The tribe was banned. JST sued, they lost the lawsuit to protect their so called fishing rights that they claim they have rights to.
Now the tribe wants to oyster farm non-native oysters in Dungeness Bay, same scenario different species (non-native) farming that has a high potential to destroy our pristine Dungeness water. Again bigger oysters than native oysters, more oyster more money. Gaining ownership of the land is the full straight flush to oyster farming without federal over site. That was their problem with farming the Atlantic Salmon they didn’t own any land or waterways & the federal government came down hard on them as they should have! The tribe only cares about their bottom line, they give a rats a.. about being good stewards & this article lays it out.
Ouch, thank you for the information,I was sad to read. But only natives can be good stewards. The rest of the owners in the fishing industry self police. They can’t afford to lose a license or have a boat impounded. Plus they care about an image that knows right from wrong. Bad publicity over environmental issues, will put you in the permanent “Time-Out”. Do you think the local tribe reads CCWatchdog and if so, care about the public’s perception/reality of things to come?
Actually Robert those are very important words. When the mind is controlled so are the emotions. If Harriet Beecher Stowe had not penned "Uncle Tom's Cabin" would the Northern abolitionists have achieved power in congress?
The truth is massaged accordingly in every generation. Sometimes we learn from the past, and sometimes we follow the lead of those that came before. If you say it enough, it will become your reality and you just brainwashed yourself.
Ancient times wanted peaceful neighbor relationships until they found the pay off of war was too tantalizing. Just like today?
Somthing bothering me... Your story the other day... The Free Shower Vouchers. How can anyone, anyone, think homeless drug addicted men showering with children is a good idea? How can any 'leaders' create that voucher system? How are consequences of your actions not a part of your brain pattern? How can CC voters put people like this onto City Councils and other public organizations? It just seems this county has slipped so deep into the fetid mush of leftwing politics that this can happen. Can you people who serve and I use that term lightly to describe you, really not understand how you and the people you surround yourself with are ruining our beautiful County?
CC should be passing out Seattle Welcomes the Homless and Addicted. You want a free tiny home? Seattle has much more to offer you than CC. A much better use of our taxes...
CC offers the addict a repeating and never ending cycle of overdose... Overdose? No problem we got you covered.
Well, I saw an article that they are not giving out free shower vouchers anymore to the homeless and drug addict addicted so we won that battle at least for now because of so much heat was brought up against it!
Evrita, Jake's discovery of the vouchers and making the public aware is just one more affirmation of voting for him. It stopped the voucher program within two days because of the public outcry. He's making changes already without being on the Board of Commissioners. He IS the public, not a talking head behind a table.
Public outry is a 'how dare you' moment for Leque of Women No Nothings and the other ultra Left. WE know better, go away, don't say a word, you are not allowed to cry out...
As long as 'these people' run our County the battle is far from won. It's still a sad fact they gave out these vouchers to begin with! That they are so inept so devoid of the ability to reason that they created the vouchers in the first place. You can't brush away the mindless feclessness of an 'official' who can believe it was a good idea in the first place.
Exactly! The shower vouchers is just ONE bad idea item.. When you add up all the multiple items tax payers are footing the bill for it is an overwhelming amount of bad ideas that have ruined this county. The county commissioners sit on the pool board. They condoned and approved vouchers at the pool while taxpayers pay over $360,000 a year plus benefits and another $100K for them to fund protection for the public and spend our tax money wisely. THESE ARE THE PEOPLE ELECTED TO RUN CLALLAM COUNTY & our county is failing because of their mismanagement period!
The Incident: In July 2022, Jaman reported seeing a transgender woman (a staff member) in the women's locker room while young girls were undressing. Jaman confronted the staffer, asking if they had a penis, and told them to leave.
The Ban: The Olympic Peninsula YMCA issued a lifetime ban against Jaman, citing violations of their code of conduct regarding, disrespectful behavior towards staff.
Lawsuit and Settlement: Represented by the Center for American Liberty, Jaman sued, claiming violations of her First Amendment rights (free speech) and Fourteenth Amendment rights (due process/equal protection).
Outcome: As of June 30, 2025, Jaman agreed to a settlement where she received $65,000 and the city agreed to remove certain information from its website, though the permanent ban from all Olympic Peninsula YMCA facilities remained in place.
A fetid mush of left wing politics! Well when you put it that way, we all totally understand. Your wording is inspiring. That’s why real people don’t need AI!
I too had a stolen sign but by my HOA. One of the board members made me take it down because it was on HOA property that is forbidden via a 501c law in our state. That said I was
wondering how the city can give money to the church RV parking lot. That seems to be in violation of our state laws. Does anyone know? Anyways I am upset that it happened especially when no laws are called into play regarding drugs and homelessness. I wonder how many library signs are on our public land or the liberal little groups of idiots? Now I can have my coffee and pout. Another thought just cane to mind. The Catholic Church (Pope) has broken the law of non profit status by bashing Trump. How does that become ignored?
jedjennings50, I had the same thing happen. Fight it. I won
RCW 64.38.034
Political yard signs—Governing documents. (Effective until January 1, 2028.)
(1) The governing documents may not prohibit the outdoor display of political yard signs by an owner or resident on the owner's or resident's property before any primary or general election. The governing documents may include reasonable rules and regulations regarding the placement and manner of display of political yard signs.
(2) This section applies retroactively to any governing documents in effect on July 24, 2005. Any provision in a governing document in effect on July 24, 2005, that is inconsistent with this section is void and unenforceable.
REVISED CODE OF WASHINGTON SUPERSEDES ANY HOA RULES OR REGULATIONS!
PS they can restrict usage on the HOA community property. You have to keep it on your property. Good luck ; )
A homeowners' association described as a social welfare organization under Section 501(c)(4) must primarily engage in promoting the common good and general welfare of the people of the community.
It only takes one bitchy person that doesn’t agree with your politics to cause a problem. Thank you Jennifer. God, this county is going right to hell if we aren’t vigilant!
jedj, Just as you have rights, so do the people in your HOA. Your yard sign does not reflect everyone's belief as a community. If it was on private property, it's your right to express a political view. If it is on community property (and I agree) you shouldn't be able to.
I had a yard sign for Dave Reichert for Governor on a inside window because of the fear of theft or damage outside. Someone walked over to my window and spit on it.
Under Washington state, HOA's may NOT prohibit political signage -And the 501c law? Sounds like a tax exemption? Washington state law, specifically RCW 64.38.034 HOA's
jedj, the HOA has to abide by state, federal and HOA CCR's. Yes, if the state, federal and CCR's are not enforced the HOA is subject to lawsuits and possibly more. They were correct in removing your sign.
Susan, not gifted, I'm in the middle of a 3 year fight with my HOA, it's 3 years of research and $30,000 in lawyer fees. We will see on May 14th, wish me luck!
So the money that is held in trust (HOA fees) they don’t have to pay if interest is made etc. I’ve looked at places that the HOA is higher than the condo payment. And if you buy your place for cash, you never get away from real estate taxes or HOAs. Who ever said retirees could live on a fixed income? Hasn’t worked for us. I guess we are spenders! I had a condo years ago and think living in a van down by the river would have a higher quality of life.
“In the Northwest, fisheries and shellfish are our way of life.” ----- (the quiet part out loud) Why we will bring non native aka foreign species in to decimate our local species while we make lots of money off it.
Ron Allen and his minions are lying through their teeth. I was at that county commissioners meeting where his 3 minions came in and emphatically said they would not be growing and cultivating seafood in Sequim Bay. They are lying through their teeth! We need to contact the department of the interior congressman, Baumgartner and the White House and tell them we are not for this land acquisition that they want so bad!
Now regarding Jake Seegers, I have proudly displayed on my lawn an elect Jake Seegers sign! We cannot tolerate stolen signs! Yesterday there was a no Kings protest in the middle of the intersection on all four corners by U.S. Bank in Sequim yesterday in the afternoon. Disrupting traffic as I had to wade through that crap. Who will join me on Saturday or Sunday for just one or two hours on those same corners and hold up our elect Jake Seegers signs and promote his campaign?! I eagerly await to hear your
A thought. From my perspective Jake signs at a No Kings event doesn't support keeping his work local and confuses it with national matters. I believe that is why we have the problems we have in Clallam County trying to address local matters vs national politics creeping in.
Any extra time I have to support Jake goes to conversations with people who have an open mind and are capable of having a conversation.
MK well said! We need to all set a goal of at least bringing in 20 people to the JAKE movement. That would give us a chance. We can not fail in this election. It
To be considered, and why I won't spend my time holding a sign.
When it comes to the "bang for your buck" (and time) in campaigning, political science research—most notably by Donald Green and Alan Gerber in their seminal work *Get Out the Vote*—draws a sharp distinction between **visibility** and **mobilization**.
While standing on corners and placing signs feels like "doing something," the data suggests it is one of the least efficient uses of a volunteer's time compared to direct interaction.
## 1. The Power Hierarchy: Efficiency vs. Visibility
The research generally categorizes campaign modes by their **cost (or time) per vote produced**.
| **Lawn Signs / Placards** | **Very Low** (1-2% increase in vote share) | Low efficiency for time/money |
### Grassroots One-on-One (The Winner)
The most effective method for time put in is **canvassing (door-to-door)**. It is the only method that consistently yields a significant, measurable increase in turnout.
* **Why?** Social pressure and the "human touch." People are far more likely to follow through on a commitment made to a real human being than an inanimate object.
* **The "Relational" Hack:** The absolute most efficient use of time is **Relational Organizing**—reaching out to people you already know. A volunteer's time spent calling 10 friends is often more valuable than spending 4 hours knocking on 100 strangers' doors.
## 2. The "Sign" Problem: Visibility ≠ Votes
Campaign signs and standing on street corners fall into the category of **Passive Visibility**.
* **Lawn Signs:** A 2016 study published in *Electoral Studies* found that lawn signs only increase a candidate's vote share by about **1.1 to 1.4 percentage points**. While not zero, the amount of time spent delivering and placing signs often outweighs the electoral return compared to talking to voters.
* **Street Corner Sign-Waving:** This is often seen as "morale-building" for the campaign staff and volunteers rather than an effective way to change minds or turn out voters. It mostly reaches people who have already decided or who aren't in your target precinct.
## 3. The "Time-to-Vote" Equation
To determine where to spend your next hour, consider the **Cost Per Vote (CPV)** in terms of labor:
* **Door-to-Door:** High "setup" time (walking, driving), but high conversion.
* **Phone Banking:** Zero travel time. A volunteer can reach 30–50 people in an hour. Even though the "success rate" per person is lower than door-to-door, the **volume** often makes it the most time-efficient way to scale a campaign quickly.
* **Sign-Holding:** High time investment with almost no way to track "conversions." You are essentially hoping for a branding effect rather than a behavioral change.
### Summary of the Research
> "The more personal the interaction, the more effective the mobilization."
>
If you have 10 hours to give a campaign:
1. **Hours 1-2:** Contact every person in your phone's contact list (Relational).
2. **Hours 3-10:** Door-to-door canvassing in a high-density, "swing" neighborhood.
3. **Last Resort:** Standing on a corner with a sign (only if you've already reached every possible voter through more direct means).
I agree that 1:1 contact is most effective. I also believe most people that vote have no idea who they are voting for. Name recognition influences their vote. It rook me a few minutes to place a sign, and another two to replace it, thanks to someone tearing it down. Just my thought.
I’ll be damned if I’m gonna go knock on door-to-door and take the risk of having a confrontation with somebody OK so you guys do whatever you wanna do I’m gonna mount my Jake Seegers sign to my car and I’ll just do my own campaigning. Thank you all for your input and your time.
Evrita, personally I always hate anyone who comes to my door to push anything. That includes Jehovah's Witnesses, school levy people, landscape businesses or anyone. My home is my sanctuary or rather Do Not Disturb. Yes, I did see my husband slam the door on a person who wanted donations for who knows what.
Well, smiley face, I'm not asking you to be damned and I'll bolster my appreciation for people who will get involved.
I'm presenting best information on the use of time for campaigning and effectiveness. Why someone would want to work against their own best interest is something that I don't understand. When those actions impact what I believe is in the effectiveness of getting Jake elected I'll present it for consideration because I believe that's our goal.
ABeetle, the newspaper(s) were approached almost 4 years ago when Jeff started the Towne Road series. Jeff's name carries some kind of Leprosy in the local newspapers. Nobody wants any contact with him. Have you EVER read or seen a reference to him in ANY public newspaper? Hmmm they seem to have interviews with everyone else BUT him.
Forget it, his money isn't good enough in our local newspapers.
No I have not. The whole situation here is sad. I should have answered my own question, as I know what the news rags are, so....I was being a smart-a**
I respect your decision but with all due respect, I was not linking this to the new Kings, March. As long as we sit on our asses and do nothing nothing is ever gonna get accomplished just saying I wish you a wonderful weekend..
We all need to do something. Some people communicate in different ways. We do not have the same talents as others so let’s all do what we can to get JAKE home.
Appreciate the distinction. I just don't know how it can be separated visually because of the proximity to a No Kings group vs going up the road to another location and have his signs out there. I want my efforts to maximize my time, and their effectiveness.
I always advocate getting out in some form to educate people on Jake so you'll never catch me not having an alternate option. I tend to do better engaging 1:1 and is how I spend my Jake time. I recognize that the signs have value and appreciate you holding them up with others.
Evrita, please don’t forget about this or let anyone else forget about this. The tribe introducing non-native species was not a good idea then and it is not a good idea now or in the future but according to Ron Allen it is okay when his corporation does it because they are stewards of the land:
I bristle when I see comments lake this from Ron Allen:
“In the Northwest, fisheries and shellfish are our way of life” and “I have a river called the Dungeness River and a bunch of creeks all around us that we’ve spent a lot of time restoring.”
Ron's interests are mostly in farmed fisheries, both finfish and shellfish.
Despite the State of Washington banning all finfish farming from our waters via legislation and administrative code provisions because of their adverse effect on native fish, Ron has persisted with his partner Cooke Aquaculture (with perhaps the worst environmental record of any fish farming organization around) to try and return finfish farming to our waters.
And we all know of Ron's efforts to commercially farm oysters in Dungeness Bay despite the United States Fish and Wildlife Service being unable to certify that would be compatible with the goals of a national wildlife refuge.
As far as creeks are concerned, I urge you all to drive by the old KOA Kampground at Obrien Road and Highway 101 today and look at the massive amounts of fill the tribe has placed right up to the creek on the south side of the property. In my mind that is not caring for a creek or wetlands.
And then there is the issue of Protect the Peninsula's Future having to threaten two lawsuits to stop Ron from putting the 7 Cedars Hotel on a septic tank and drainfield system that would have adversely threatened both the freshwater and saltwater resources of south Sequim Bay.
The tribe's reputation for protecting the environment does not match with its record.
I also really struggle with decisions made by the Tribe. Being part Native American and growing up with significant time on various different Reservations, I was taught about the value of nature, the respect we should all carry towards it and the belief system of Creator.
It was engraved in me to not harm the balance for greed and profit. So I deeply struggle with many different ways the local Tribe goes about it's decisions.
This is not what Creator's message was intended for.
I’d be interested in hearing more about your perspective on the current state of our county and the direction you see it heading. I’m also curious to better understand your views on some of the topics raised by Clallam County Watchdog, particularly where you may see things differently.
Would you be open to participating in a podcast interview with Clallamity Jen or Jake Seegers? I think it could be valuable for the community to hear a range of perspectives, including both points of agreement and disagreement.
I appreciate the importance of understanding differing viewpoints and believe this kind of conversation could be helpful for many.
If anyone of the county commissioners and/or the prosecutor would join me. Actually, the land acquisition issue is at least as important, and has as big an impact on law enforcement, as the issue discussed at the Fairview Grange the other night. It would deserve a town hall on its own.
I hope for it to happen. I would like very much to feel as if we can all try to move forward together instead of remaining stagnant on such topics. Thank you.
Ron Allen is the Godfather! He is treated like the second coming of Christ and everyone is in fear of crossing him. He’s a puke. I understand that many in the tribe are paid low wages as the millions are raked in.
Really, how much money is enough to be happy and take care of your family?
Better go into the oyster business. Hope they have security out there. Someone could dive and disturb all the oyster spat!
CC Letters Substack Issue 23 March 5- my Feb. 27 letter to to BOCC and Berry regarding the dangerous changes in street drug supply(first letter in post)
CC Letters Issue 24 March 9 Berry's response to me (shared with BOCC) also first letter in post where she admits they already knew
"We have also seen a veterinary anesthetic called medetomidine show up locally in addition to xylazine."
SIX weeks later we hear from Brian King, not the person responsible for public health.
IMO this is negligence on the part of public health and the BOCC. How many addicts may have been exposed to these substances in 6 weeks further hindering their ability to ever have a healthy life? so much for her strawmam claim that she just wants to keep people alive.
It boggles my mind that anyone trust any of the pharm companies, especially ever evolving new drugs. What is paid out in settlements is not as much as is made.

ABeetle, how many lives lost? A settlement does not bring back a loved one. I didn't even go back to the pill mills before 2018 that killed so many, Forida was the worst!
Floridas main industry was pain meds. A clinic on every corner and a car from every state. Let’s see is Fl number 2 in the nation for worst public education, just under Mississippi?
I just last night saw a county in TN that has had 41 deaths from this drug that they know about and showed a map of states that had this drug in it. WA was not one of them. ? How does that work.
because WA is lying and covering up the facts to protect the homeless/addiction industry grifting. It's here and Berry knew. see my new separate comment
This is another new synthetic drug called Cyclorphine, which was first discovered in 2024 on the east coast area and moving across the country. Not the same as tranq stated by the Sheriff. Many of these synthetic drugs are coming out of China as they know this country has a huge appetite for them. Only a matter of time till it's here too.
We have no control over our meds. and batches without the active ingredient get sent here and by the time the pt gets back to his doc, the rx has circulated and gone undetected. You can look up all the complaints on FDA website. Usually psychiatrists patients are the first to report medication failures.
From my understanding, they never have a large enough (identifiable)
Single batch drug to follow it back to the manufacturer. Many people don’t report until their next prescription is being filled and they realize that in fact they felt awful for 30 days.
The codes on bottles doesn’t mean every tablet was manufactured , packaged and still with the original batch. That’s why it’s so hard to nail down. I guess it’s very expensive to send a sample to FDA to check for efficacy.
You can see if just once a week the manufacturer left out the active ingredient on a batch of 10,000+
capsules, that would be a nice profit. One of the most careless things this country does, is allow other nations to make our prescription drugs. Talk about low hanging fruit! The reporting process is labor intensive (tedious) on purpose bc I don’t think we know how to deal with this problem.
My sinus infection is just as bad, now I have to go to jail bc of my actions, and I still have the infection!
I have no law enforcement experience, but unable to understand the abundance of readily accessible illicit drugs. It seems so elementary to me that stopping the flow of these drugs is a shortcut resolution to the much greater societal damage they create. If those drugs are not available, there is no need for harm reduction, counseling and rehabilitation. Our POTUS recently took that shortcut and set an example of how to deal with illicit drug damage by blowing up drug transporting drugs. That human death is coincident with illicit drugs is a fact; a given; already an inclusive industry component. It is feel good naivety to object to any associated human death by disallowing capital punishment for the distributors of illicit drugs, while simultaneously accepting the associated crime and overdose death. Better to take that death on the manufacturing and distribution side, rather than on the user end. Redundant here, but the lethality in illicit drugs already exists. If we move that lethality from the users to the manufacturers, traffickers and dealers, it will positively impact the entire drain on our society.
I do have the experience and it is so very complicated. We have varying state laws and then federal laws. Cases that cross over state lines become complex. We have teams of law enforcement that work silently in the background around the clock trying to bust up the trafficking and those involved. Most of this never makes the news. These cases go to court and are highly complex, requiring lots of time due to our laws. The use of CI's confidential informants are used and plea deals are made. This just takes an enourmous amount of manpower and highly dangerous as well. This country is huge and has an enormous appetite for drugs. Stopping the flow is very difficult, we simply do not have enough people to cover every single aspect of the transport of drugs into this country. We will never stop the flow of drugs or the manufacturing of them, there simply is too much money to be made. I agree with taking the death on the manufacting side but we need to get those laws on the books which in my opinioin we will never see. The laws have evolved over the years to be more lax, just look at this state and read Blake vs. Washington state. There are a few prosecutors out there that have successfully prosecuted cases ( in California believe it or not) of people supplying a pill (fentanyl) to a user that have been charged with the death of that person. It has not resulted in the death penalty as most states in this country have taken that off the table. I have a lot to say about this, the laws have to be changed and that is indeed a huge task to tackle.
Laws can be written if we vote in people who are not soft on crime. We can’t give up when knocked down, we must get back up and continue to fight fight fight by backing elected officials and politicians who are tough on crime not softeys! That is what happened to California & the whiners now are seeing that their votes have done much to harm their very existence, that is why so many have left the state and cities are in ruin, disrepair, highly taxed and over run with drugs and homelessness.
Agreed. Prop 47 in California in 2014 drastically changed many crimes from felonies to misdemeanors and it desimated California. It was titled the Safe Schools and Neighborhood law and most voting never read past the title. They did not read the change from felonies to misdemeanors. The writers and backers of that bill including the then AG, Kamala, said this would so help the state by getting the offenders alternative sentencing. It was a trojan horse. After a decade of so much increase in crime, prop 36 in 2024 reversed some of language to tighten up the laws but still not back to the original laws prior to 47. This should be studied by other states, what a change in laws can and do to a state.
CAS, also the CI's, Confidential Informants. are criminals prized by law enforcement. They get away with criminal activities. I knew of one, he never got put in jail. They wouldn't arrest him for even not paying child support or upholding visitation agreements. There are all these microcrimes going on.
Sometimes LE has to make a deal with the devil. Do you let a small fish go to catch a big fish? It's done and has resulted in some big takes downs. Granted it certainly is not perfect. And I have seen cases where the CI wants out of the program. With that comes two things, a hit on the CI from the dealers or into a witness protection program. I've seen a CI right before testimony in a case killed. It's high stakes all the way around and those witnessess many are in protection programs across the country which do cost a lot of money. It takes a long time to get where one can trust a CI, some go rogue, but they do help and yes, to your point the crimes they did are not charged. Same with murder cases, many times, a witness you make a deal to get the information needed, imperfect I agree, but there are results.
You are welcome. There is a lot of imperfection and deals made, but everything I have seen, before the deals are made, great attention is given to the results of those actions. The root of all this is stronger laws, which seem to be going the wrong way in this state. It takes a village to change the laws and I think it's time.
Well, after reading this morning's "claim" that crazy power mad Ron Allen made about "his Dungeness River" I suddenly decided that I now own the "previously temporarily owned" Jamestown tribal golf course property because that suddenly suits my personal agenda~! I never really wanted to own a golf course property, but hey, why not, since "crazy Ron" is obviously making a false claim to everything that he lies about "owning"~! Oh, and I don't have any need of a casino, nor do I want to see it turned into another empty "Somalian day care leering center" for the little kiddies but now have decided that I also own the 7 Cedars Hotel~! Sorry, no drug dealers welcome, because it is now a "family friendly property"! ONLY the true criminals of humanity ever "alter the historic record" so the good folks of our community need to tell these scumbags who dare to "lecture" anyone with their lies and deceptions to go "F" themselves~! $5 my A$$~! The good folks of Clallam County deserve to have the true and accurate history of OUR lands known and those who were part of the history, good and not so much, need to be portrayed honestly and fairly if "we" are to be able to achieve our full potential as a community~! These evil criminal "social engineers" have always damaged America with their shifty and shady manipulations and outright lies, which constantly creates more injustices piled upon other previous injustices. ENOUGH~!!! We need to go around the so-called "government planners" and local criminals in government here because they have COMPLETELY failed to build a functioning local economy where OUR current & young generations have a reasonable chance of finding gainful employment that motivates them to succeed in life and have a family if they want~! We have SO much economic potential here in numerous "low environmental impact" ways, that it reveals the fact that the "community planners" & failed management here have not only failed, but very intentionally failed~! No one can be THAT stupid, unless it is a coordinated "stupid" that hides evil intentions! NO~! The library is a LIBRARY, and the criminal clown show that is running that sick circus needs to be completely removed along with ALL of the festering diseased fools and criminals who "installed" those losers! The same thing goes for the Port Angeles public pool and everywhere else that this mentally diseased socialist/communist/Marxist satanic octopus clowns have expanded into~! We need to make our demands perfectly clear beyond ANY doubt and put an end to this disgusting agenda of endless fiscal mismanagement and robbery of OUR taxpayer dollars, that are being used against us and the vast majority of the good people in OUR community~! Obviously, thanks to the reporting of Jeff Tozzer here on The Watchdog, there is a very well-established criminal drug "pipeline" that is feeding these dangerous drugs into our community that needs to be destroyed right now~! What connection to the local courthouse, the politicians, government management, and police is there to this drug gang pipeline, because it is past time to look carefully into that possibility? These most dangerous drugs don't just "magically appear" here because some criminal decided to traffic them in from the big city! I know how sick and tired many good folks in our community are about these criminals and their never-ending criminal assaults on us, which are intended to break our spirits and resolve to have a happy, safe, and prosperous community. So, our ONLY course of action now is to remove these scumbags who have failed in their oaths and duty, entirely eliminate most of these so-called "management positions" that do nothing positive and in fact create enormous harm, and get honest "Constitutionally correct" Individuals in place to put our beautiful community on track where it belongs~!!! Yes, why not give Jake Seegers a fighting chance to prove himself~? He sounds like a reasonable Individual of common-sense and most importantly I appreciate his willingness to listen to OUR points of view and the experience that we have that should always be part of the decision-making process~!!! If Jake Seegers has an "agenda" I believe that it is NOT political, but for ALL folks in our community to have the safe opportunity to prosper and enjoy ALL of their freedom and rights... This treasonous business of constantly growing the corrupt incompetent government that ignores the will of the vast majority of folks here, only to degrade our standard of living on an increasingly shocking level, MUST be stopped and never allowed to again reappear~! The stolen Jake Seegers signs are actually proof that these criminals in government can't be trusted AND that Jake Seegers is the sort of American that these criminals are afraid of~! I will be doing what I can to help Jake Seegers buy more signs~!!!
THE JAMESTOWN TRIBE ACTUALLY VIOLATES EVERYTHING THEY TRY AND PORTRAY THEY STAND FOR.
Think about it…the JST says they are doing it for the people, okay, that is what we all do, we create services for the people and profit from the services. Nothing special there.
JST says we are good stewards of the land, okay, then why are they destroying wetlands, why are they risking our waterways with non-native fish and shellfish that threaten the native fish and wildlife causing possible economic disaster for fish populations?
JST says we are inclusive and welcoming, okay, why do they put up signs it is their land, no trespassing, why aren’t they transparent with their finances, why are they not supportive financially to their own members?
All of the above is documented not just Cinderella story tales Mr. Allen likes to have everyone believe. All of the above is actual documented reality. Look at the county 45 years ago and look at it now. 45 years ago the JST was recognized. Is this Clallam County better off now than it was 45 years ago? I know for a fact Clallam County was better off 10 years ago.
I just finished watching Matt Walsh very informative you tube show about the history of the American Indians. I think everyone should watch it including natives.
There is so much incorrect and unknown history that has been proven in this show including things that most of us never learned in school.
Since “time immemorial “. Oh that must be 4.5 billion years ago. You know, when the earth was formed. Apparently, only a few people understand the meaning, which makes me sad because every time it’s used, stupidity will follow.
Jeff perhaps vagrancy laws might improve the neighborhood.
Laws to validate stories that future generations will not be able to question because they will become gospel.
a presentation priming local property owners for land back, five bucks for the privilege
TJ IMO that is a very important message. Contaminate the data and the result is false.
they can say it but? It is my understanding that the BIA has/had no authority to invent these tribes!
? Sorry Elizabeth, I don't follow.
Don’t forget about this……and please share
https://www.seafoodsource.com/news/aquaculture/aquaculture-group-drops-lawsuit-against-washington-net-pen-ban
With all that money, why not just buy fish?
It’s not like they have to hunt and gather.
I’d like to read CCWatchdog for a week without it mentioning or focusing on the JKT putting the screws to the rest of us.
Nope, there is no Santa Claus!
If Santa Claus did exist homeowners and landlords would face law suits when he became stuck inside the chimney.
I feel screwed and without foreplay.
4rs, couldn't read the full article unless I subscribe. Does does this apply if JST takes ownership?
4rs, thank you. Reaffirms that being a "steward" is not about being a steward. It's about greed.
Jennifer, keep scrolling past the notice. It worked for me.
Amen to that!
Too deep for me to answer.
No but at the YMCA the Trans can shower with the minors
Still it was allowed until we were vocal in our concerns. The Y has issues at the top. Let’s face it they lost 65k
A fetid mush of left wing politics! Well when you put it that way, we all totally understand. Your wording is inspiring. That’s why real people don’t need AI!
At the same time:
Sheriff staffing has grown about 8%
Library staffing has grown roughly double that
Just saying will take Sheriffs over library staff any day of the week!
More cops that won't be able to do anything because the law and Olympia won't let them...
A homeowners' association described as a social welfare organization under Section 501(c)(4) must primarily engage in promoting the common good and general welfare of the people of the community.
another social
welfare program.. great.
thanks for the info Jennifer-
good to know 👍🏼
Right. Thanks, Jennifer.
It only takes one bitchy person that doesn’t agree with your politics to cause a problem. Thank you Jennifer. God, this county is going right to hell if we aren’t vigilant!
It is not in my yard it is on the common HOA property. Does that matter?
yes.
jedj, Just as you have rights, so do the people in your HOA.
Christine is brave to put stickers on her car.
Lovely people. A neighbor, perhaps? Just lovely.
Wow! That's extreme! And scary!
Under Washington state, HOA's may NOT prohibit political signage -And the 501c law? Sounds like a tax exemption? Washington state law, specifically RCW 64.38.034 HOA's
They might lose our tax exempt status I guess. That is what the liberal neighbor says
jedj, the HOA has to abide by state, federal and HOA CCR's. Yes, if the state, federal and CCR's are not enforced the HOA is subject to lawsuits and possibly more. They were correct in removing your sign.
Bummer!
How did you get so smart? Did you work in legal services, are you just gifted? You seem like a gift in this site!❤️
Susan, not gifted, I'm in the middle of a 3 year fight with my HOA, it's 3 years of research and $30,000 in lawyer fees. We will see on May 14th, wish me luck!
Are HOAs tax exempt? What does that mean exactly?
Yes they are 501C tax exempt status for the property that is HOA owned.
I still pay taxes on my property that I own but not on the surrounding 6 acres.
I only pay $400 a year.
Hey Susan, the 4PA will supply trash pickup, just throw it out your van LOL!
“In the Northwest, fisheries and shellfish are our way of life.” ----- (the quiet part out loud) Why we will bring non native aka foreign species in to decimate our local species while we make lots of money off it.
Ron Allen
https://www.seafoodsource.com/news/aquaculture/aquaculture-group-drops-lawsuit-against-washington-net-pen-ban
I eagerly await to hear your
Responses. Have a great weekend.
It
Is an opportunity of change in direction.
| Campaign Method | Estimated Effect on Turnout | Efficiency Rating |
|---|---|---|
| **Door-to-Door Canvassing** | **High** (~1 vote per 15 contacts) | **Gold Standard** |
| **Volunteer Phone Calls** | **Moderate** (~1 vote per 30-40 contacts) | High efficiency for time |
| **Personal Email/Social** | **Variable** (Highly dependent on relationship) | High for "Relational Organizing" |
| **Direct Mail** | **Low** (~1 vote per 200+ pieces) | Cost-heavy, time-light |
>
Just my thought.
put honey all over the sign edges - that'll teach em!
Grrrrreat!!
ABeetle, how about slow acting super glue? They'd have to drag that sign all around for a while. Makes me laugh to think about it.
Advertising. Like in a Newspaper? Any good Newspapers out there?? hummm??
We do not have the same talents as others so let’s all do what we can to get JAKE home.
jedjen, I absolutely agree with you, we all shine somewhere!
MK, and that is where you shine. Thank you so much!
This is not free speech, the “NK” rally.
This is “Loitering” and “Disruption” of Public Peace.
Acts of “Vulgarity” and “Visual Degeneracy”.
Slander.
Are my statements a REACH?
Isn’t there a lawyer in this feed with big enough you know whats???
Come on guys…. think.
💥💥
That would be a blessing!
Evrita, please don’t forget about this or let anyone else forget about this. The tribe introducing non-native species was not a good idea then and it is not a good idea now or in the future but according to Ron Allen it is okay when his corporation does it because they are stewards of the land:
https://www.seafoodsource.com/news/aquaculture/aquaculture-group-drops-lawsuit-against-washington-net-pen-ban
exactly.
Any other weekend, I'm in. I'll even raise funds for Jake with more brittle!
Awesome let me know when you’re available, Maybe the 1st or 2nd week of May? Thanks
My next few weekends are booked but if you do one in May I’m gamed
Mr. Richards,
I’d be interested in hearing more about your perspective on the current state of our county and the direction you see it heading.
Please consider it.
Thank you.
I drove by the KOA today Ron.
Gross.
(oh what wonderful stewards of the undisturbed land)
I find it curious, the Tribe can build a camp ground and disturb what is deemed “wetland”.
For I cannot build a cover for my Travel Trailer *within 40 ft of Matriotti creek. (which flows in the middle of our parcel)
- but buffers can be bought and paid for, subtracted and added... right?right.

Don’t take it personally. We have all had a heaping bowl of BS from the county.
We so seldom get a chance to do the right thing, so vote for
JAKE SEEGERS!
If everyone did take it, personally.

The winds of change would be sweeping.

CC PUBLIC HEALTH NEGLIGENCE please see:
CC Letters Substack Issue 23 March 5- my Feb. 27 letter to to BOCC and Berry regarding the dangerous changes in street drug supply(first letter in post)
https://clallamcountyletters.substack.com/p/cc-letters-issue-no-23
AND
CC Letters Issue 24 March 9 Berry's response to me (shared with BOCC) also first letter in post where she admits they already knew
I wonder how long the folks at the HRHC have known about this drug in the local supply and why they didn't make a general public announcement
Trust me, they knew about it for a while. I’ve been in the medical field. I know these companies and people well.
It boggles my mind that anyone trust any of the pharm companies, especially ever evolving new drugs. What is paid out in settlements is not as much as is made.

Isn't this CRAZY?? My God! All that $$....
All that money to New York so they can give it to the direlecs that run it.
ABeetle, how many lives lost? A settlement does not bring back a loved one. I didn't even go back to the pill mills before 2018 that killed so many, Forida was the worst!
Floridas main industry was pain meds. A clinic on every corner and a car from every state. Let’s see is Fl number 2 in the nation for worst public education, just under Mississippi?
well, that is typical liberal behavior. Say 'your sorry' and then it's over, forgotten....
Coming out of China. We are all shocked!
We have no control over our meds. and batches without the active ingredient get sent here and by the time the pt gets back to his doc, the rx has circulated and gone undetected. You can look up all the complaints on FDA website. Usually psychiatrists patients are the first to report medication failures.
Susie, would an annoucement/warning be part of the health department's job?
one sec, new comment incoming with doccumentation of CC public health negligence
CAS, I guess it comes down to the greater good of the many than the good of the few. Thank you for the explanation.
You are welcome. There is a lot of imperfection and deals made, but everything I have seen, before the deals are made, great attention is given to the results of those actions. The root of all this is stronger laws, which seem to be going the wrong way in this state. It takes a village to change the laws and I think it's time.
Well, said I couldn’t agree more!
Sincerely, Mike
'mentally diseased socialist/communist/Marxist satanic octopus clowns ' WAHOO there ya go! Excellent, Mike.
And I was being "nice"~! ;-))
Wait until it is time for the formal criminal charges~!
Have a beautiful weekend~!
Sincerely, Mike
Thank you for letting us know I for one indefinitely, gonna watch this.
Thank you just saved it to watch tomorrow
Since “time immemorial “. Oh that must be 4.5 billion years ago. You know, when the earth was formed. Apparently, only a few people understand the meaning, which makes me sad because every time it’s used, stupidity will follow.
