Sent this morning:

Dear Commissioners and Director Emery,

Commissioner French publicly says the Climate Vulnerability Assessment is required by state law. It is not. HB 1181 requires only a climate resilience sub-element for Clallam County. Commerce guidance treats a standalone vulnerability assessment as optional. Locking the highest-end RCP 8.5 projections into the Comp Plan was a local choice, not a mandate.

That choice was accelerated while one commissioner was absent and later shaped behind closed doors through Commissioner Ozias’s NGO, the North Olympic Development Council. This is a clear conflict of interest. The result hands Futurewise ready-made evidence to demand stricter, action-forcing rules for the next 20 years—holding Clallam County back for an entire generation.

Please rewrite the Climate Element to meet only the minimum legal requirements, without the unnecessary extreme assessment. Also restore “citizens” (not “residents”) in the public-participation language of CCC 31.01.500. “Citizen” has a defined legal meaning; “resident” does not.

Thank you.

When I heard this outsider with no ties to Clallam County speak I found it odd that someone from outside of Clallam County was weighing in on our local matters. It piqued my interest so I looked her up and saw what Jeff has reported here.

Why is it that Commissioner French seeks to allow more special interest intrusion into our county? How are we supposed to afford to live here with the astronomical costs associated with these false mandates?

How is it that Jake Seegers gets the ridiculous moniker of being an outsider/carpet bagger when Mike French is actively engaging actual outsiders/carpet baggers into our local affairs?

A vote for Mike French drives our county further into the NGO quagmire we cannot afford, and it hands over control of our county to a handful of more controlling losers who couldn't make it in real life as attorneys so they've bastardized the skillset to force their ideology on everyone.

If you want to retain Clallam County's independence vote for Jake Seegers.

And Mike French called her "Brooke" like they were already friends.

Well, that's two strikes against Mike. He has now allowed the camel's nose twice under the Clallam County tent. I'm not interested in anymore of this erosion of the citizens rights of our county.

Jeff where do you get this info? I have never heard of these bamboozing idiots. What they do is preach climate change for the Tribes takeover. Big article in the Seattle Times front page on the Elwha tribe river takeover and how it has helped CC. I wish that we all had a level playing field and this Futurewise seems to be another liberal money grabber. Hold onto your wallet. Jake is on top of this larceny plot to exploit CC. Thank you both for the info on our adversaries.

Susie has been onto Futurewise for years. Once Brooke Fickleton commented, it all started to come together.

jedj, "I have never heard of these bamboozing idiots" We would not have heard of them today or any of the covert activities without people like Jeff, Susie, C Jen. Personally, I vote for Susie to run the jails and backround checks!

Just point out a Garry Oak in Sequim and all the Pacific Madrones in our area. This tells the story in just two trees. You can even add in there the prickly pear cactus that lives natively to the Sequim area. Let those three species sink in. They arrived here when the climate was much warmer. Much more like California's Mediterranean climate. And probably very much expanded during the various Holocene WARM periods (within the last 10k years), warmer than today!

These guys are being played by the technocrats who want you managed like sheep. Of all the nonsense going on, this is the biggie, because their models and regressions have no way to be proved true. Science grift to the max.

I recently wrote on this topic.

My great-great-aunt (born the first year of the irrigation festival) used to talk about riding in a horse-drawn wagon from Sequim to Port Angeles. The wheels would get stuck, and they'd have to dig them out. Not in snow or mud, but in dust.

The controllers could care less unfortunately. They'll manufacture "best science" to meet their agenda.

Meteorologist and professor Cliff Mass has done a wonderful job of providing clarity to the subject in the Northwest. Of course, he was "cancelled" but he still has a strong presence. https://cliffmass.blogspot.com/

IF YOU ARE S’Killed in UNLIMITED FUNDING, YOU THEN BECOME WEATHERMEN FROM TIME IMMEMORIAL?

If the Cascadia Consulting is the hired pen for the S’Klallam Tribe, who have consistently profited directly or indirectly from this powerful consulting group, then where did the money come from? CCG is not cheap. Funding, awards, grants and contributions are raining down (pun intended) on JST.

Today’s weather forecast: Steady stream of continued money with a high chance of commissioner’s approval. Futurewise, much of the same.

Below, another example of how money predicts the weather, but it’s only a drop in the bucket

Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe thanks its Carbon Neutral Advisory Committee for their

input, feedback and COLLABORATION throughout the Carbon Neutral Plan development

process. Additionally, NODC FUNDED technical support from CCG.

Currently this group is looking to LEVERAGE recent investments made by the legislature that will streamline federal grant and tax incentive information to increase accessibility statewide for community-based organizations, local governments, TRIBES, and other entities. FUNDING WILL ALSO PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR GRANT SEEKERS. This will help us continue to improve how we coordinate our response to federal funding opportunities

Yes. Thanks for the extra ammo. That Commerce stuff has to be on the record well before Emery starts typing. Another reason to nullify the Comp plan. DEI outcomes with public money has been deemed unconstitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court. Inslee ramped it all up under Biden and they won't stop. So they hide it all and let Bruce Emery type while Futurewise, Cascadia, the rest of the meta association including the Tribes have their mouth open. An unconstitutional mouth.

Your last sentence nails it. I was 100% opposed to J6, and this is no different. The will of the people is being usurped by a handful of controllers.
