We are the park...a scientific "Biosphere." Special interest NGO's have been controlling our policy through the NODC and SERN. Every policy we have is sterilized and homogenized by an international government consortium. They have drawn a map, it has changed a little over the years but our area remains the same. "Little to no human use."
The United Nations has long since decided our Olympic National Park is a world sponge so to speak. We have officially been an International Biosphere Reserve since 1976 and declared us a World Heritage Site in 1981. The World has dubbed our home a "living laboratory". that protects unique biodiversity, including at least 16 animal species and 8 plant species that are endemic—meaning they are found nowhere else on Earth.
So the NODC was set up not to help our economy, it was set up to protect the "living laboratory." That is two full decades of economic sabotage sponsored by the United Nations through the ICLEI operatives at NODC and SERN. The NODC intercepted billions and sabotaged 35 years of our taxpayer dollars to preserve the "Biosphere" and engage in restorative justice. They use time immemorial to set up a "Biosphere" and engage in restorative justice. They use climate change to set up a "Biosphere" and engage in restorative justice. They use salsa picante whatever it takes.
After reading the internet posts about being stuck on a road for 6 hours trying to travel 80 miles to visit the Peninsula its clear that the biosphere needs some transportation investments. Well they are getting them today. WSDOT and the County are sprucing up the Biosphere with some trail projects.
They are going to bring us heads in beds. The bike and trail enthusiasts are going to take the Port Townsend Ferry, and hike and ride bikes all the way from one end of the biosphere to the other. There will be heads alright. Heads in dreads lighting foilies.
Always some flubber and magic bean sales job of fixes they know will never work, because they are not meant to work in the way you or I would say worked..it works for the UN and the "Biosphere." and nothing else. The Carr Fire in California burned in the Urban portion of the Wildland Urban Interface. That part of town was newer construction, high-end subdivision homes built to California’s “SRA Fire Safe Regulations”. That is, non-flammable roofs, stucco siding, and all the rest of the State’s requirements. Yet 1079 residences were lost in that 2018 fire. The homes were built to a fire resistant standard but occupants subsequently compromised them with patio furniture, fences and decorative bark. How can human nature be regulated and what will continued regulatory inspection oversight cost taxpayers?
This is where the arrogance of bureaucrats leads us - burdened with costs and restrictions that do not control the ravages of wildfires. Wildfires do what wildfires do.
