I keep looking for legislation that improves, repeat improves, our growth and wealth. Instead I read about these “plans” that are the exact opposite. How does one translate “collaborative resilience” into growth, and improvement?
Recently we voters have been reading about Commissioner French and his negative campaign for re-election. Where are the examples of positive results? What has been happening during Commissioner French’s recent term of office? All I see are more requests for power and control. I see pandering to the tribe at the expense of the non-tribal residents. What has been done to improve our county? Did Commissioner French's actions contribute to any improvements? The operative words in this new proposal is; “Private property owners will pay.”
I am asking for leadership. Where are the proposals to bring new businesses to Clallam County? Where are the new jobs? What can we promote to entice businesses to move here? Raising costs seems counter productive. Promises don't pay the bills. I don’t think our state leadership, or county leadership, is focused on improvement. I am writing to express my strong concerns regarding the allocation of federal funds toward recreational multi-use trails rather than critical roadway infrastructure. It has come to my attention that multiple Local Agency Agreements are being processed with the Washington State Department of Transportation, dedicating significant federal resources to the Olympic Discovery Trail network. These trail segments include:

While I recognize the value of community recreation, our regional infrastructure is currently facing a massive transportation deficit. In this specific region, it can take roughly 6 hours to travel just 80 miles due to inadequate road design, lack of capacity, and poor connectivity. This severe commercial traffic and transit bottleneck heavily impacts our local economy, which relies on tourism and hospitality. We desperately need modernized, expanded roads to safely move vehicular traffic, ease congestion, and reliably put "heads in beds" across local lodging.
When Congress allocates funding to the Federal Highway Administration, the core public expectation is that the budget will prioritize actual highways, arterial roads, and motor vehicle safety infrastructure. Recreational paths like the Olympic Discovery Trail are far better suited for the budget of the Department of the Interior or the National Park Service, rather than pulling funds from critical transportation corridors that support regional commerce.
I urge the Washington Division to review these spending priorities and redirect its focus toward the essential roadway upgrades and highway expansions this community urgently needs to thrive.

Commissioner Mike French is touting the new Community Wildfire Protection Plan as collaborative “resilience” while campaigning. Now those voluntary recommendations—stricter codes, setbacks, defensible-space rules, and subdivision standards—are migrating into the proposed Comprehensive Plan. Olympic Climate Action activists and the Clallam Conservation District helped shape the process. Private property owners will pay, tribal trust lands remain exempt, and affordability takes another hit.
I keep looking for legislation that improves, repeat improves, our growth and wealth. Instead I read about these “plans” that are the exact opposite. How does one translate “collaborative resilience” into growth, and improvement?
Recently we voters have been reading about Commissioner French and his negative campaign for re-election. Where are the examples of positive results? What has been happening during Commissioner French’s recent term of office? All I see are more requests for power and control. I see pandering to the tribe at the expense of the non-tribal residents. What has been done to improve our county? Did Commissioner French's actions contribute to any improvements? The operative words in this new proposal is; “Private property owners will pay.”
I am asking for leadership. Where are the proposals to bring new businesses to Clallam County? Where are the new jobs? What can we promote to entice businesses to move here? Raising costs seems counter productive. Promises don't pay the bills. I don’t think our state leadership, or county leadership, is focused on improvement. It looks like the tribe will gain and the rest of us will pay an added price. Shouldn’t this attention to the majority be considered a reasonable request?

We here operate a small farm/ranch property here in Clallam County and just like most property owners of land in any country setting, we constantly work on clearing dead vegetation and trees because of the potential fire risk and to protect the overall health of our property! Our property is in excellent condition, better and healthier than most, where the healthy trees are protected and the wildlife has the ability to freely travel across our land in numerous places. We have not officially declared our property as a "nature preserve" with the so-called "authorities" who are at best criminals, however we are functionally preservers of our natural environment, wildlife, and good neighbors to our immediate and overall community. The very LAST people on earth that we would ever listen to are the completely incompetent retards in government management, who have been constantly violating their oaths, and our freedom and rights, by intentionally lying to folks and deceiving everyone literally about every single issue~! We do not, nor will we EVER, comply with these COMPLETELY Insane lunatics in government management or their goon squads of Treasonous criminals who are "only doing their jobs"~! I'm struggling to make a logical connection between climate action and pedophilia expertise. An interview of one Brian Grad might help, but sadly his apparel alone dictates there is no logic available there. I've become convinced that we are experiencing a climate change trend, but the why and how of that changing remains unknown. Why and how did similar climate changes happen long before human influence ? Why are fossil fuel consumption and cow farts near exclusive assumed culprits ? What about solar flares, volcanoes and or irregularities in the earth's orbit and axis orientation ? My concern is this premature rush to fix or change something that could not only be wrong thinking, but make matters worse. Cloud seeding in particular is happening, while the positivity or negativity of it is not known. The existence of sovereign nations within our nation must either end or treat those sovereigns like all other sovereigns with similar taxation, trade and travel restrictions. The BIA is now an archaic fossil that somehow has not yet been buried. Long live the ancient, highly revered indigenous cultural practice of operating casinos. A convenient alternative to some bank to cash your social security and retirement checks.
