I am tongue-tied over this article. I can't believe Josiah Hill only served 179 days in jail and paid only $700 in combined fines. The victims didn't receive real justice, nor did they receive appropriate monetary restitution. This convicted sex offender can and will find a way to quench his sexual deviations in another capacity. The judicial system in CC did no one any service. Thank you, Jeff, for staying on top of this and watching out for your community.

Years ago, one of my cousins wanted me to help him create fraudulent real estate appraisals to trick the owners into believing that their property value was far less than it was so he could buy them cheap, and I immediately refused to do that. He then proceeded to tell me that he respected my integrity, but that I was making a mistake because he was willing to pay a lot of money for fraudulent appraisals. He then admitted that he had hired a professional test taker to take all of his law school tests so that he could graduate law school while he drank beer and chased girls on the beach in San Diego. The most shocking part was when he admitted that also hired a professional test taker to defraud the state & pass the California State BAR exam! HA~! He was not a qualified lawyer in any way, but he made millions of dollars over the years from poor suckers who he defrauded. So, I just have to wonder about this Josiah Hill clown and if he is also a fraud that cheated his way through medical school to become a so-called "doctor" because there is a LOT more money in the medical field than there is in the legal profession? Yes, buyer beware~!
Well, due to my personal family circumstances I was "shaken awake" at a very early age, so I can't say that much has really surprised me over the past 60 years or so... Not that I have not suffered beyond belief as our country and world has been under this full assault while few ever realized it or seemed to give a damn... My older cousin was often used as an example to bash me with, that I should follow back when I was in high school and later in college (and then law school). So, I was appalled by his admission that he NEVER actually earned his law school degree or license to practice law because that never occurred to me at all. He didn't say that he cheated his way through college, but I think that would be safe to deduce given his other criminal confessions. I can't say that I was ever close to that cousin, so I really didn't know him or his character. On the other hand, skirting the law and committing crimes was not exactly beyond many on my mother's side of the family, which I did know before my cousin's admission because I had heard many others on that side admit to an incredible number of shady dealings and crimes that they were involved in over the years... They were ALL from the lunatic East Coast "the ends justifies the means" & "I am just looking after myself and my family" crowd, that over time absolutely destroyed the once great state of California~! I am not saying that California didn't always have problems like all of the other states, but I am saying that the hordes of questionable East Coast characters that have moved there for the past 100+ years sure didn't improve the state one damn bit and just like here in Washington State the existing powers that be took full advantage of these kinds of dubious characters to force their unwanted agendas on the native population here~! This same BS has been going on BIG TIME, ever since the end of the American Civil War, and on a mass scale that few would even recognize~! Have a great Thanksgiving and we should all be truly thankful for the good folks like Jeff Tozzer and you that fight for our freedom and rights~!

A certain demographic of other polished turds support and give laud emboldening other turds.
They live in their ivory toilet bowls, protected from the citizens and their “opinions” and cannot relate to their fellow taxpayers.
They polish one another with lavish praise and set up many NGO’s to funnel money into the dark recesses of their sewer kingdom.
If and when there is ever a sniffing out of these polished turds and discovery is made on how bad they have been screwing the locals, they simply flush themselves out into the world.
They often change their names, completely rewrite their resumes and create shiny websites to catch their next gullible victims, bouncing from one sewer trap to the next, until a new county to rule over is found.
The process starts over, lather, polish, repeat and the working class have no clue as to what consequences will come, completely trusting that surely “someone” is vetting the turds before we begin polishing them.

Plea deals are happening all too often. Plea deals aren’t justice, it’s convenience. Had the victims known that under the original charges, Hill not only would have faced much stiffer penalties, but he would have had to register, for the rest of his life, as a sex offender. Would these 6 victims (and how many others?) have agreed to a lesser plea, if they knew he would not have to register as a sex offender. Sex offender registration is a way to alert the public. I don’t think a plea deal has “cured” him. Read the original counts compared to what is a misdemeanor, especially considering he was a Health Care Provider taking advantage of women in their most vulnerable time of need.
PLUS he still gets to call himself DR JOSIAH HILL. At title of respect he doesn’t deserve.
(1) six counts of indecent liberties as a HEALTH CARE PROVIDER.
(2) special allegation of a vulnerable victim
(3) one count of second-degree rape with special allegations of a vulnerable victim.
VS: six counts of fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation.
The avoidance of having to register is a serious matter. I get it that prosecutor's offices only have so much staff, time, resources, but sometimes there are hills to die on and his having avoided this is a disservice to society.

What is with weirdos in Coast Guard? Sex addiction is a very serious problem & not curable. Research shows brain chemicals crave more & more & is worse than heroin. The addiction can escalate to serious crimes against children & adults. Classified as a mental health disorder & if not managed like with any addiction can spiral out of control. This is tragic . . a man who sexually abuses women who have gone to the ER for help and he is only given a matter of days in jail!! He should be in prison for many years or forever. He has the ability to move on to do this to other women asking for medical help. Our justice system is NOT strong enough to protect the community. He gets a plea deal and just moves on to harm again. OMH has had some serious problems with it's doctors.Dr.hills assaults on women should have been dealt with earlier in order to prevent future assaults.Another much more disturbing case in 1998 involved a young Dr.bruce rowan OMH EMR physician who killed his wife with an axe & baseball bat put her in her car and tried to stage an accident.It just so happens this particular day of murder was also the same day her life insurance was enacted $ 500,000.To make a long story short when cops did not agree with accident and charged bruce with murder bruce realized he was not going to get insurance $$$ and was going to crow bar hotel instead.So bruce decided it was time to go insane and hopefully be sent to wa state insane asylum.Jurors bought his mentally ill axe-ident excuse instead of prosecutors $ 500,000. murder
motive and went to western state and got miraculously healed and was released 2005.
UFOCCWD, when I was working in an ER in Az, we had a Dr that all the nurses thought odd, weird and inappropriate with examining women. We did bring our suspicions to the Administration. IGNORED! It took a year for a patient to come forward and press charges. How many were assaulted in that year is anybody's guess. It was all hush hush. He only got fined, had to do some mental evaluation and "time spent" was seeing a psychiatrist for a year, plus for one year, he was only allowed to see female patients if a nurse was with him.
Think he was cured? No, he just became more covert. His victims are still suffering.
Neither of these providers were employed by OMC, they were both employed by PESI. Dr.Rowan’s murder had nothing to do with patients, it was outside of OMC so no reason to even bring that up.
Thank you, Jeff, for seeking accountability on behalf of the victims. Our justice system failed to do so.
