BS! The entire homeless issue is a vast money-laundering scheme to enrich politicians at our expense. Think about it: Every major city has a homeless issue, yet none declare "NO CAMPING WITHIN CITY LIMITS" to make it inconvenient for the homeless. Instead, they provide food, syringes, and instructions on how to take their drugs through their rectums. Why? Why have NONE of these cities solved the problem? Hello-- because they don't WANT to. They get the naive voters to open their bleeding hearts to increasingly fund these enabling programs, while the politicians get rich.
The Clallam County Homelessness Task Force says, "We believe [that] access to housing is a basic human right". Then why do the rest of us all have to work hard for it? Why don't we all stop working and let Clallam County provide luxury apartments and free pizza for us? Why work at all? No, I am not heartless, but crippled people and those UNABLE to work may warrant society's collective help, but most of these homeless miscreants are because it's a lifestyle they CHOSE. They answered the question "Why work at all?" with a resounding "Because I would rather coast, high on drugs, man. It's easier than working for the man, man." And we, they naive, agree to programs that enable them. We make it EASY for them to adopt this lifestyle, even removing the stigma from it by legitimizing it. It's bullshit! Don't make it easy for them; make it hard, painful, uncomfortable for them. We are all motivated by something to be productive in society. The bums need motivation too. If a carrot doesn't work, a stick will.
Let them experience withdrawal. Let them experience cold, wet, life in the woods (not cities or suburbs). Let harsh reality be their motivator, if success doesn't work for them. If anything, society should provide alternatives, like picking up litter along our highways in exchange for food, a cot space within a warehouse. Make their life choice the most inconvenient choice they've ever made. Give them alternatives, but NOT handouts, shelters, drugs, or other things to legitimize their choices.
Thank you, but I'll restate the reason: They make money from it. It's a huge money-laundering scheme. I asked ChatGPT about it: https://chatgpt.com/share/682c85fe-3e38-800b-b153-9fd5253dcfb3 and it is approximately $150–200+ billion (2013–2023). That's a LOT of money-- enough to make 100,000 Millionaire politicians while still giving the false impression that they're "doing something".
Also they are part of the deep-state plan to destroy modern culture as we have known it and replace it with the dystopian future we have been warned about in various books for decades.
Depopulation and control of the remaining IS the long-term goal.
That's why they are bankrupting us while promoting destructive activities and operating with low-morals or none at all and seizing control of ALL the resources.
The sky IS falling (chemtrails) and fascism is rising (the best gov't that money can buy) and we are right in between the two.
There may be a (good) God but it's not too interested in what goes on here, I'm afraid.
See Planned Parenthoods new guidelines for grooming children (age 4 and up) into sex with progressively older 'partners'. Unbelievable😱😱😱
The age of consent is 16...but It is not illegal (by their standards) to sexualize little children.
Read it and weep!
Brandi Kruze has the chart displayed on her site today.
So none of it makes any sense unless you can admit that there is a Devil.😈
It's God's way of making us appreciate our country and decent REAL conservatives who value morality, patriotism, our Constitution, and most of all, integrity. And, boy do we need more of these attributes in our world!
Robert, I spent a very long time on the Planned Parenthood web site and could find nothing about grooming children age 4 and up into sex with older partners.
First, I don’t believe that language is in any of their literature.
Second, I don’t believe you read that .
Please provide us with an actual document, page, quote, or anyway to substantiate your claim. Because you have never dealt with an unwanted/unplanned pregnancy, I resent men weighing in with their opinions about this organization. This was a huge resource to the community during my time in public health in Seattle. It continues to provide services for females of all ages. Please correct me if I have missed the information and reference you say they encourage.
Request a "data dump" raw meta data and run Trullion AI audit software. Watch the cockroaches scatter and/or avoid public meetings once the data is exposed. This is what is needed to garner credibility and expose the waste, fraud and abuse.
With the nicer weather coming they'll be up on the Forest Service Roads camping out. Fishing the creeks illegally. Leaving literally a ton of trash and a motor home or trailer to deal with when they move on. In another month take the scenic drive from Sequim to Brinnon on the Forest Service roads. You'll be amazed at some of the camps and the amount of work gone into construction. I suspect the biggest camps are the meth tweakers. They need to stay busy as they tweak for 40 or 50 hours. Multiple rooms, fire pits and barbecues, many propane tanks and gas cans to power the generator they just pilfered from some unsuspecting legitimate camper. Its alarming and angers me as I was taught to value nature and not leave an imprint.
One of the best FACT responses I've seen and/or read in years. AWESOME. But remember we're supposed to feel sorry for them and the things you mentioned as alternatives won't work as far as making choices because they're ALL mentally incompetent remember? ROFLMAO.
My father worked in the CC Camps (conservation corps) during the Depression. He worked in the national parks. Experienced poverty for little pay. Bring back the CC Camps.
"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a Dictatorship, then a monarchy." Original author uncertain.
The politicians can make large sums of money working for government agencies. Many of the voters are pathological altruists who don't understand human nature or in this situation "depravity".
When non profits use homelessness as a federal money grab and continue to give excuses for homelessness then it will never end in Clallam County. It began with these nonprofits lying to the public and community leaders as to whether it was locals or outsiders that were sleeping on our streets and in our parks. They convinced the public they were locals. Anyone who was raised here knew they were not locals. When you offer food, tents, sleeping bags free. Feed them and they will come.”
We are overrun with outsiders and their broken down motor homes, vans and cars. Crime has risen ( property crimes and assaults). People are afraid to walk in certain parts of town and you don’t dare walk anywhere at night.
Stop Services, offer services to families in cars, Youth and Veterans. Local people know where to go for help. But to poor millions of dollars into transients and think they are going to stay here and become upstanding citizens is a pipe dream. “ The more we give, the more we’ll get.”
People are fed up, and very tired of being called evil because they’re not willing to help their fellow man. “ God helps those who help themselves”. He didn’t mean Clallam County pouring millions into a bottomless pit!
Danetta, I feel like you, we are being bombarded with words: GIVE - DONATE - SUPPORT - SAVE - HELP - VOLUNTEER - GOFUNDME - DIME UP - PASS THE HAT - KICKSTART - FUNDING - HOMELESS - HUNGRY
I think people have hit their Goodwill Wall and the pendulum is swinging back to reality, "God helps those who help themselves" or What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.
So if hitting bottom takes too long, we need the bottom to come up to meet them. That means treating individuals that are making bad choices with drugs , can’t be helped until that problem is resolved. This isn’t charity for special needs individuals to function. This is us being taken vantage of . Drugs are a self induced problem, being loaded kind of changes your sense of urgency about finding work. Encampments probably are nice on Monday mornings, while everyone sleeps in. (Except for people headed to work that drive by)
Clallam County. Do not. I repeat, do not partner with Seattle or anything in County. Their record has been on display the past five years! Prove me wrong.
Yes as mentioned, accountability is lacking in this problem. Keep throwing money at the problems of homelessness and substance abuse. Our County subsidizing only prolongs to problem, and makes the program’s administrators wealthier at the top, trying to do too much for a segment of our population that doesn’t give a cr@p about where they live, or what goes up their nose. “You owe me”, I think we’ve heard that more than once from this segment of our population.
Use to be, if there was no place to live or work, you loaded up the wagon and moved to the next opportunity. Dry up this funding and see how many move on Or who it will be that steps forward with a “fist full of dollars”. Charities, churches, and tribal assistance. Not Clallam County taxpayers.
Politicians believe you can solve any problem by simply throwing more money at it and setting up committees. A businessman will look at a problem for solutions and how to use the money available to get the most "bang for the buck". Too many years of free-spending politicians has gotten us in the mess we are in. Trump and Musk are looking at it like businessmen, amazing how much fraud, greed and waste they have uncovered in two months...no business could run like our state and national governments for long without ending up in bankruptcy.
Accountability, Accountability, Accountability!!!! Why does this never come up? Oh, maybe because these funds for these programs have none.... only a small fraction of these dollars goes to fighting the root problem. The rest of this money lines the pockets of corrupt individuals.. the amount of waste is incredible. The homeless problem here could be fixed within two years. And it could be done at a tenth of the cost.
Hey Jeff- real quick, I’ve had this thought noodling around in my head for a couple of weeks now.. an observation I felt deserves a little shout out.
Most of us CCWD readers are aware that recently we were all loosely labeled as “guests” here on the peninsula. Interestingly however, there’s a little road into a housing development located up off of Happy Valley Rd just across from my folks place. I’m sure you’re familiar w/ it since the name is Tozzer Pl. So my question is, when did we start naming roads after families that are merely guests to the area? I think it screams a much louder truth: “guests” are visitors that don’t plant roots spanning over a century in one place & historically, visitors (to my knowledge) aren’t typically honored w/ a road named after them.
I acknowledge that I live and grow hair on the ancestral lands of Jeff Tozzer, and have sworn an oath to help him fight the global government that has consumed my state, county and city.
John, you forgot to put behind his name, Asshole. After all, he has earned that title, as you have earned the title Wackadoodle. Man, give some respect.
Direct funding to things that work. Not feel good ideas. No needle exchange, forced treatment or jail time. Put individuals to work around our county cleaning it up. This is a start. These people need structure and a hand up not a hand out. You can't fix a problem by ignoring the root of the problem. You have to attack a problem head on. Feel good programs don't do anything but enable. When you work for something there is pride and accomplishment. That's what people need. Not needles and butt injectors for drugs.
Greg, I absolutely agree. It seems that if something isn't working as planned, it should be scrapped for the ones that do...we shouldn't keep trying to make the original plan work by adding on to them. We need people who should know when to hold them and know when to fold them!
The “residents” at The Tempest defecated out the windows. It was not a shelter. It was a zoo.
Thank goodness for all the federal funding that came with COVID because in 2016-19, Serenity House was looking at reorganization and essential bankruptcy after mismanagement. But COVID funding and four years of Biden changed that situation. Now we have a governor and legislature who are intent on making up for any federal funding cuts with state funds.
All of the housing programs will turn into the The Tempest. All will have frequent police calls. All will fall into disrepair. All will continue to increase bringing in more criminal elements. Mark, you are correct, we are building zoos.
The survey only steers you to voting on adding programs, which will be used to justify the cost when they are voted in. I wrote in my comments and did not choose from their rather slanted list.
I took it and noted it was designed for providers, people who operate in that space. I still completed it and gave my ideas in each section under "Other"
Wild guess, no one is discussing expanding the economic engine in Clallam County as the most universally understood mechanism to lift people out of poverty/homelessness by way of opportunity, not handouts.
Not part of 'the plan'...the plan is to destroy and control...even while making millions on expanding the housing boom...because the crash always follows and then the banksters buy everything up for pennies on the dollar and do what they will.
How many retail properties are vacant...for years...and for what purpose?
The 'owners' force tenants out with exorbitant rents and then sit on empty properties...do you know how much money they have to have for that to make any kind of sense?
They use the vacant stores as tax write-offs. Yes, they LOSE money in order to write it off while participating in the utter collapse of the system that has made them so wealthy...while the properties increase in value...until the next crash...does that sound sane? This is the reality we co-exist with...for now!🥴
Look no further than Houston Texas. Their mayor solved the homeless issue three years ago, but the left coast blue state liberals refuse to look elsewhere for solutions.
I recently drove from Sequim to imperial Beach California on the Mexican border and saw mile after mile of tent cities and trash galore everywhere I looked.
Last week I drove from Charlotte NC thru Atlanta, Birmingham, Meridian, Vicksburg, Monroe, Shreveport, Dallas, Fort Worth, Lubbock, Clovis, Albuquerque, Cortez, Salt Lake City, and Boise, Idaho, without seeing any tent cities. Only when I arrived on interstate five in Portland, Oregon up to Olympia and Tacoma did I see homelessness seemingly everywhere. Indeed this is a liberal blue State problem that has thrown trillions of dollars of taxpayer money at this man made problem! WA has thrown billions to the wind with an ever increasing appetite for taxpayer money.
We are rehashing once again, LBJ’s war on poverty with identical results. It’s Cristal clear why the liberals continue to scrub history from our schools and replace it with DEI lies.
There needs to be a taxpayer revolt but sadly we are outnumbered by non taxpayers who are given equal votes to transfer money from our wallets to theirs. This is called socialism which ultimately ends in communism.
Furthermore…..
Large numbers of county residents predicted what would happen when the tribe planned to open their meth clinic…..to no avail. We were labeled with all kinds of nasty for pointing out the obvious!
We said there would be homelessness on the sidewalks and around buildings. That crime would become a major issue in an essentially crimeless small town of Sequim. Sadly, our predictions have come true.
This should all be laid at the feet of our 3 commissioners and the Jamestown Clallam Tribe, and ultimately in Olympia.
Just finished the Peninsula Behavior Health (PBH) survey. It looks like the survey questions and answers were designed to extend the reach of PBH. If they can increase their role in the five year plan, they can hire more personnel, apply for more grant money, and increase director salary. It's really about building a bigger bureaucracy under the guise of social justice. Shouldn't our commissioners be setting priorities for housing? Next Tuesday should be a jamb packed meeting.
What is the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and over again. Generally with the same ingenious persons involved. Never asking for accountability, effort, or reasonable responses. Expecting the community to pick up the tab for the mounting problems associated with the escalating insanity and getting a handful of crap in return.
Of all the Land Lords that I know in this County, I think it's safe to say, that ZERO of them would be interested in, or even consider being part of the pool of "resources" for the homeless population. That's before considering the whole pooping out the windows thing!
I wouldn't be a landlord even for non-window-poopers...it's a thankless task and only pays in increased property values until they crash again. It's like farming wild pigs!🤪
I saw the solution as I watched the Work Session replay. Each one of those do-gooders should have to open their homes to the homeless their surveys claim we have. I bet their surveys change under that requirement.
Socialists don't grasp the concept...gov't is the answer to everything...and it's working pretty well for the socialists with their gov't pensions and their grant-funded NGO's and their little work-study groups...sickening!😬
Fifteen years of a four government clipboard bureaucracy that spent millions of dollars on a bureaucracy and not finished product. They hand out questionnaires and non-profit housing brochures for 50,000 a year on a federal, state, county, and city job in the blue pages and take out $10,000 buck at least quarterly for homeless issues. They at one time had over 6000 homeless grants in a 6 year records retention schedule. CTED was shut down and Department of Commerce was born. Just try getting the total amount of money spent during Jeff's 15 year period.
In other words they could have built Bartertown already.
It is common knowledge that Wa state has abysmal mental Healthcare. Throwing money at a problem without understanding the root cause is hopeless. Mental health issues created by addiction(s) should be treated differently. I am not heartless by any means, but I believe our justice system is failing in many ways. That failure eliminates consequences for addicts. This is a crisis that will destroy our country.
Savvy people understand that radical ignorants should never lead the pack, animals understand this better than some humans but as fate would have it ignorance is our problem.Clallam county needs more savvy people running this county. We have laws on the books to keep homeless issues under control but are not being enforced.Volunteers having to deal with homeless issues is a clear sign of poor elected officials not doing their sworn oaths.

Another incredibly reasonable comment. How is it Clallam County leaders don't listen to us?

Don't send them to the woods, all they do is start forest fires and destroy nature!!!!!!! Sheriff Joe had the right answer.

I used to go up there after storms and cut the tops and branches out of the roads for firewood...I won't even go up there any more...it's hell☠️
Lawrence, they always forget to build outhouses. Why is that? No funding?
Its hard to hit the like button on a comment you know is accurate but you still don't like it. Just so nasty and disgusting.
You would think they could steal a sturdy shovel.
And just think all your well water starts out up here in the hills!! YIKES
No doubt!
You, my friend, have absolutely NAILED it!
This should be sent to the city council!!!
Give them lots and lots of whatever they want...just get them off our streets and out of our neighborhoods!😊

Good point. I hope you give a Land Acknowledgement to the Tozzer Family every time you pass by that little road :)
Tozzer People oath.
I think a little bit of financial reparations are in order as well. If you have hair, it's time to pay up.
I acknowledge that I live and grow hair on the ancestral lands of Jeff Tozzer, and have sworn an oath to help him fight the global government that has consumed my state, county and city.
That's a decent start. I'll send you my Venmo.
John, you forgot to put behind his name, Asshole. After all, he has earned that title, as you have earned the title Wackadoodle. Man, give some respect.
rep-hair-ations!😅
You're too quick! Good one :)
I throw a candy wrapper out at every drive named after white people!😎
Well whether I do or don’t give a land acknowledgment- “it’s really none of your business, Jeff” 🤣🤣
Zing!
Please elaborate on this 2-year plan.. I’m intrigued

Ain't nothin' good gonna come out of the rats nest!🤓
Addiction made more affordable. Free free free. Now what could be the problem.
Billy, spot on, Clallam County might as well advertise its Addiction Affordability
You should make tee shirts of this…..that would really piss off the lib-tards!

They have concrete poured for tiny house (sheds) foundations at 4PA’s location on First Street in PA, close to downtown where all the drugs are.
Mark, the occupants will be closer to their source and won't need to ride the free bus. Do you know if the tiny houses come with a dog wash?
Whoa, that’s an easy pitch. I’ll let that one go and not hit it into the outfield.
They just pee on the dogs...they like the smell of pee!😱
4PA, another well intentioned nightmare.🤨
The survey only steers you to voting on adding programs, which will be used to justify the cost when they are voted in. I wrote in my comments and did not choose from their rather slanted list.
I took it and noted it was designed for providers, people who operate in that space. I still completed it and gave my ideas in each section under "Other"
Well, it's for stakeholders...and we don't count as 'stakeholders', we just pay some of the interest on the debt, so...😳
Wild guess, no one is discussing expanding the economic engine in Clallam County as the most universally understood mechanism to lift people out of poverty/homelessness by way of opportunity, not handouts.
"Poverty" was mentioned yesterday. Economic recovery, drugs, addiction, and substance abuse was never talked about.
I rest my case…….
Excellent share , Bob.
It's not easy seeing the train wreck coming and nothing to do but watch.
Well, we can try to 'show up' at the meetings but the same 'agents' are going to be running things behind closed doors unless we remove them.
'It takes a county' to clean up this mess...keep the info flowing!😊
Just finished the Peninsula Behavior Health (PBH) survey. It looks like the survey questions and answers were designed to extend the reach of PBH. If they can increase their role in the five year plan, they can hire more personnel, apply for more grant money, and increase director salary. It's really about building a bigger bureaucracy under the guise of social justice. Shouldn't our commissioners be setting priorities for housing? Next Tuesday should be a jamb packed meeting.
The list of perks they're asking for tells me right there why homelessness keeps increasing under their watch. Who would want to lose all that?
Launder. Rinse. Excuse. Re-State. Re-Grant. Repeat.
People...what is your Return on Investment?
The ROI is that emotions are calmed. They need to spend our tax dollars to sleep at night. The mental unstable are running things.
The 'selected' are carrying out their NWO appointed tasks...while we pay them.
They are doing exactly what they were trained and selected to do!😬
Negativory!🙃
You mean walk your talk?
When the mentally ill run the mental facilities...😱
Savvy people understand that radical ignorants should never lead the pack, animals understand this better than some humans but as fate would have it ignorance is our problem.Clallam county needs more savvy people running this county. We have laws on the books to keep homeless issues under control but are not being enforced.Volunteers having to deal with homeless issues is a clear sign of poor elected officials not doing their sworn oaths.
Well, we are pack-animals by instinct, but we are dumbed down...domesticated, and slow to respond to danger.
Still there is hope...I hope!😁
The trump supporters gave us hope and saved usa we just need enough clallam county conservative supporters to save clallam county.
