So, my take is NGO PBH is using this opportunity as a slight of hand to attempt to improve the NGOs public image. This and any NGO heavily funded by Taxpayers dollars in a struggling County should absolutely NOT be spending a dime on non-core functions! This NGO is notorious for wasting Taxpayers money on approaches that are not tied to solving the root problems and they fail to use metrics to track and manage outcomes that get at the heart of the underlying reasons the NGOs existence! Pathetic!

Within a short period of time the schools were vandalized, and grades didn't improve.

We enjoyed the Clallam County Fair a couple of days ago as we always do every year~! The County fair is clearly the greatest and most popular & profitable event that Clallam County has, so it is always a delight to experience. We were especially happy to see the "Tozzer Exhibit" to finally meet Jeff and he was very pleasant and gracious as he has always been Online. I have no idea who this "Morgan Fairbanks" is, but he/she/it should learn better manners. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Massachusetts because of my early childhood visit and it was the state of origin of my mother's side of the family, however over the past several decades that State has clearly become a Constitutional nightmare of a disaster that has infected America with some of the nastiest criminal politicians. Boston is well known for its organized crime criminal element and everyone from that State or who has lived in that State for a significant period of time knows it. I don't know anything about Morgan Fairbanks his/her/Itself, but I do know that America has more than enough slimy underhanded "character assassins" that always flap their big mouths about subjects and people that they know nothing about, because "some people's kids" are sick hateful mentally ill Individuals who always give America and decent Americans a black eye~! We ALL know that these disgusting hateful anti-social and anti-American "useful idiots" make it a habit of slamming those who they disagree with for being a bigot, prejudice, etc., however this decades long personal assault method has not only backfired, but it is now widely known to be more of a "self-condemnation" of the jerks who make such wild claims that most good folks have learned to identify. That is very Ironic :) So, those who make wild accusations against others, have now become known for being the very Individuals that the majority of Americans ignore, tune out, and avoid any contact with~! HA~! These mentally ill social nightmares always "out themselves" as people to avoid~! We have all seen the social misfits who constantly talk smack about others, calling them every terrible name possible, who we know do the same nasty thing to "us" the minute our backs are turned~! These mentally weak and sick Individuals "un-friend" themselves these days, which I find to be the height of Ironic justice. I don't care if Jeff or anyone is a bigot, although I have seen nothing that would remotely indicate that to be true of the vast majority of American folks for decades. In the first place, being a bigot is NOT unconstitutional, so it is none of my business. In the second place, and most importantly, folks who really are bigots should feel welcomed to discuss their beliefs and their experiences that led them to those feelings. Most who feel that way have been victims of those who they are striking out against. I knew this boy in high school who hated American Indians because he was ruthlessly abused by many Americans in a school/area that he was raised in, so in his mind he was simply striking out against those who harmed him. We, as a country, need to have common dialog to learn and to improve ourselves, which can't be done with the useful idiots constantly bashing others to attempt to shame or embarrass them. So, we should always wonder if those who constantly make such ignorant claims about others, are the ones who are the REAL bigots, etc.. It has recently become very clear that many people who call others nasty names, are themselves guilty of the same things that they blame others for being~! We have seen that in the political/politician class of bullies and liars in the US government as much as anywhere else, so I suspect that "we" (Americans) are just witnessing another "monkey see, monkey do" Pavlovian response of the rabid dogs of human mental illness~! Thank you Jeff Tozzer for your efforts to meet & greet the good folks of Clallam County and taking the time to chat with us the other day~! All Americans should do more of that, then listen to these few lunatics with mental disorders who run around sowing social discord through their constant ruthless lies and wild false claims~! Sincerely, Mike

In a free society the citizens should be allowed to believe any idea that tempts their will. If the idea lacks merit, it can easily be refuted with intellectual debate. Very true Patriot Steve O~!

Americans have been under this sick "politically correct" attack for over 40 years, which was always an assault on our freedom of speech and thought. Unfortunately, most Americans immediately surrendered to the criminals dictates without even questioning them. Not me ;-) Yes, the younger generations are COMPLETELY screwed if they dare to think for themselves, and God help them if the speak against the criminals of humanity and the evil agenda~! I have never been one to "cower" and cave in to the criminals and their "useful idiots" who so willingly destroy America like rabid dogs fighting over a scrap of meat. Of course, there is always a serious price to be paid for being a REAL American Constitutionalist, while the cowards who always take the easy road destroy everything in their wake...Thankfully, many Americans are now stepping up to fight back against the tyranny, so we shall see how this story ends ;-) I have been waiting a LOT of decades for Americans to finally realize just how much trouble "we" are all in, which has been VERY hard watching things get so progressively worse day by day and year after year... Americans are now FAR from "free" in any real sense, which is blatantly obvious for anyone with a functioning brain... One clue is that we never hear anyone saying "It's a free country" anymore, which is absolute proof that folks are waking up to reality~! Keep the faith my friend~!

Sincerely, Mike

NGO PBH’s Development Director Tracy Sheldon’s remark jumped out at me.

“part of mental health is being active and outside.”

This also goes for physical health. The outside part is more true now than it used to be. Why? Immigrants that crowded into the tenements in NYC like Samuel Gompers some 125 years ago could tell you. Gompers told everybody, including Theodore Roosevelt. The result was passage of The Tenement House Acts.

What culprit was identified? It was not crowding. Crowding can be extreme with no problems. How do we know that?

Do you recall the many complaints about “sick buildings” and “tight buildings?” How about OlyCap, P.U.D., and City of PA “weatherization” programs?

Obama’s “Cash for Caulkers?”

What was the rationale for all that nonsense? What if the rationale were a fraud? It is, you know.

Don, thank you for this that you quoted, “part of mental health is being active and outside.”

How about active and outside looking for a job? Clallam County doesn't have that many job opportunities, much less (from what I understand) to felons coming out prison. What income can they expect? Do they expect unemployment? Apply for jobs that aren't there as required on a weekly basis? All they have to do is apply for 3 jobs a week, get rejected and still get unempoyment. And keep applying weekly, keep getting rejected.....

I'm shocked and appalled that the housing agreement for felons allows (or rather turns a blind eye) to freshly release felons to be exposed to open drug and alcohol abuse. What possibly can go wrong in that situation? Or, rather, what can possibly go right?

PBH, please list the standards for housing so that misinformation and gossip doesn't keep flying around.

Yes, almost everyone that smokes does it outside on their porch, deck, or patio. The war on smoking was not for health, We couldn’t be forced into tighter buildings if smoking were allowed. Cigarette smoke was like the canary in the coal mine. If it didn’t bother you, you could assume the air was good. No excess CO2, radon, formaldehyde, etc.

We were healthier and saner when ashtrays were everywhere.

We live in the zenith of being “active and outside”…without a price tag. Very few people in this world have the luxury of being able to retreat into the woods in absolute solitude…just minutes from town.

We live in a place where the climate is almost always temperate. We have vistas, mountains, forests, rivers, lakes and saltwater at our fingertips. No poisonous snakes. Mosquitoes are rare and lazy. With all of this to offer, it seems like blaring music, flashing lights and the buzz of propellers would be comparatively regressive to mental health…

We need to Parent our kids & the homeless.

Now, how do we truly HELP people?

First we start with “get sober” or go to jail”.

We jail the dealers and the pushers.. yes I mean doctors, Met Clinic Clinicians etc.

Stop feeding the Zombie frenzy.

“PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN”

How many years have we watched & been told this?

My husband and I met with Wendy Sisk & Mike French for over 2 hours to discuss the PBH homeless building & yes we got the used car sales jargon, just like what Jeff writes about. We were told how every top of the line expenditure was justified in Wendy and Mikes mind.

1. needed extra insulation between rooms so residents don’t have to possibly listen to needless talking.

2. needed dog wash so residents can have loving and caring pets.

3 top of the line dishwashers so residents can have pride and make it easier.

4. need extra large air conditioners in case of a hot day here or there.

5. needed terrace and lounge because going to a park or relaxing in their $350K suite won’t due.

I think there are plenty of seniors, single parents, people in general trying daily to make ends meet would be thrilled to trade places with any one of the apartments made available by PBH.

Wendy Sisk & Mike French could give a rats ass how the are spending our hard earned tax dollars. Neither one of them has in the past and they won’t in the future. Donating $5000 is an expenditure for a drone show should not be allowed & stopped immediately just like the $350K apartment building! Anyone heard a “NAY” yet?

This describes accurately the 'ruling elite' in our midst and our gov't.

However, it literally came from a phrase used by the 'Normans' and it ('bi-got') means Bi-God or By God!
