I say let’s do better, one step ahead and advocate for free insulin for people who are productive adults, who want to be well & need drugs to stay alive. Let’s do harm reduction and make it easier for them & provide free needles, alcohol wipes, testing kits, etc., helping those people who are & want to be productive adults in society. Or should we be providing more sugar products to diabetics instead to make it easier for them? Same stupid philosophy of these drug activists…..dumb and dumber!

Doesn't matter...ideology is all that matters.

We want to believe 'they' are capable of changing their minds about important issues...they aren't because it's not 'their mind' to begin with...we all have been subject to 'programming', that's why they call it Progamming but the last 3 generations have especially been overtaken by propaganda at every turn.

Not Every One, but enough, obviously to 'get the job done.'

All we can do is try to raise general awareness but we cannot know the outcome of our efforts.

I believe we are the quiet, naive, well meaning Majority but the controller shave control over all the important levers of power.

Which ever way it goes, it ain't going to be pretty!😊

This question was not easy for me to answer as I don't believe drug supplies should be distributed-period. To help destroy someone in hopes they will seek help makes absolutely no sense. And to spend time and money doing it makes no sense either. Is it wrong to use illegal drugs? Is it right to support a wrong? What in the world is wrong with US? Have we lost all common sense?

Why have drug programs or alcohol 12-step programs worked in the past, with verifiably proven statistics? Under her stupid philosophy statistics prove more and more drug use, deaths, & homelessness aren’t working so why are our leaders listening and being allowed to be led by dysfunctional liberal activists who have accomplished nothing except to make drug use easier over all? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS WHOLE DISFUNCTIONAL PICTURE? Where is the push for what has actually worked in the past? Why can’t these disfunctional activists see not everyone chooses to be saved from drug abuse. They are nothing more than government funded drug dealers & if they could they would provide the drugs for them too.

What worked in the past (12 step) has maybe a 12% to 15% success rate. Which is good if your part of the success percentage. What I see that gets ignored is some people are just lost. They suffer a chemical imbalance and are incapable of critical thinking. They don't have it. Some had it and lost it. Others never had it. A percentage of folks are plain self destructive. Its always been this way. Some can be helped others refuse. Watching this over the last 25 years I've come to believe that the best we can do is make treatment available. Not court ordered. No harm reduction. Just have beds ready at a moments notice and after treatment "Recovery Residences" for folks to transition like www.oxfordhouse.org . Maybe Elon will make headway with a neural implant. I would also be okay with continuing research on psychotropic therapies. As with any budget you pick your priorities. I don't believe we are getting a good value for the dollars spent.

And now this is what the County Commissioners are offering Juvenile Services an agency that offers Harm Reduction ( Peninsula Behavioral Health)

Now they’re going to get our kids.

We continue to fund agencies that provide and tell youth and adults who are addicted also It’s okay to use a little drugs - it wouldn’t do harm” just a little.

We will loose our children next if we continue to think this plan or model is okay. Ask any recovered addict what they think of harm reduction! That is the person who should have set up the addiction prevention program for the county not another a liberal anything goes”

Now it is coming to light. The person in charge of handing out drug supplies is a person who is aligned with the free Palestine movement. She seems to have no real concept of the harm of drug addiction does to people. But drug addiction is ok because people are autonomous and should be left to do their own thing...and helped with their addiction by given supplies to poison and/or kill themselves. How caring! And our elected leaders are giving out money to enable these stupid programs. And I thought the left wing loonies were all in Seattle.

Good one...that supposedly came from some bishop whose task it was to eliminate the Cathars because they posed an existential threat to 'the power of the church'.

A commander told him they couldn't tell the Cathars from the locals and he supposedly said. "Kill them all...God will know his own!"

See...old stuff...new package!

The 'god of this world' has always murdered any who professed and practiced to be free to embrace a free and loving God...the Essenes, the Cathars, Jesus disciples, etc., etc...over 80 Million tortured and murdered by the Catholic Church System alone...this is why we are afraid to stand up too high because history has taught us that the dissenters have paid a very high price for non-compliance and defiance!

Is this a hill worth dying on? We're gonna die (physically) anyway, so what's the hold-up? Oh, yeah, we're comfortable enough...for now...I get it...I'm there too, although on the lower economic rungs life is pretty good, especially if when I can stay in denial of the obvious!😎

State-county aiding abetting is supposed to help but as we can see from other big cities and ours the drug addict problem just keeps on growing no thanks to elected ignorant officials that keep supporting the addicts. Our local DSHS has been dealing with this problem for many years and we did not see these mass garbage encampments and dizzy wanderers all over public areas.Certain elected county officials got involved thinking they were going solve the problem by throwing mass tax $$$ at it but like the rest of other counties the problems related like substance abuse-crimes-garbage encampments just keeps on growing like a toxic virus.Clallam county really lacks officials with common sense and backbone. The more freebies you offer the more freebie takers you will accumulate and the more tax $$$ it will cost and before long the whole town will look like a landfill.

So why do some people keep supporting these home wrecking elected officials to continue? I do know ignorance to the facts does play a role.Idaho has free landfills for residents, way cheaper property taxes, water rates, electric rates, garbage collection rates. Some clallam county voters better wake up to some of these radical elected officials ignorance before P.A. turns into L.A.

He's a commodity and is valuable as long as he is consuming what they're providing for free, courtesy of taxpayers. Free new busses for them to pass the time on while they harass working people and children, luxury housing for them to campfire and destroy, dog washing stations, free clothes, jackets, tents, food, drug kits and needles, condoms, hair cuts, teeth cleaning, psychiatric services, pregnancy tests, and emergency services. Wow! sounds like we are actually rewarding drug users! And finally, instruction on how to do drugs safely (i thought drugs and drug paraphernalia were illegal). Yet our govt entities show them how to do drugs???? I would be thrown in jail if i had drugs or drug paraphernalia but its ok for govt entities to hand out stuff to enable people to do drugs?? In what world are we living? Alot of people

are enriching themselves by "helping" drug users. ( helping them maintain their lifestyle at taxpayer expense). If they're dead, no one's going to be making any money...
