This is crazy! To many people over thinking this problem! I fall in the camp of enforcing laws. Track down who brings in the drugs. Bust them and put them in jail. It's not a victimless crime. Find those using. Sort out those who are sheep that have lost their way from the wolfs who choose it as a lifestyle. Try to save the sheep and put the wolfs in jail. That should be the only choice. Get help and be as accountable to that as they were to their drug dealer. Wolf? Enforce the laws. Compassion? Recovering those we can and are willing? That is Compassionate. Anything else is enabling. Hurt feelings? Everyone is hurt by this. Most of the people deciding should be accountable to the people and taxpayers.
