From stolen campaign signs to overdose politics and rising public safety fears, residents are asking whether leadership is solving problems—or spinning them
It doesn’t surprise me that the tribe backed Jim Stoffer but I tell you one thing if it was his grandchild or child, he would sing another tune!
Back in 1982 when my son was a toddler, I was ridiculed by a couple in the mall for putting my son on a leash. Oh, so you have a puppy dog now they said. I said no I’m keeping him safe. There have been a lot of child snatching lately and I wanna keep my son safe and also he’s very quick and trusts everybody so I asked them., Wouldn’t you do the same to keep your child safe? They didn’t have a response as a matter of fact, they ended up agreeing with me at the end of our conversation. This was in California at the Cerritos Mall. It also doesn’t surprise me that they’re not giving credit to the fire department and paramedics and people who are getting folks turned around from drug use and abuse and actually helping them instead of enabling them. About that stolen sign ... has the information and pics posted on CCWD been forwarded to the local police for action? Be fun to watch that process as it plays out ... And, of course, I'm waiting with bated breath for the French campaign to publicly scorn and disavow such actions ...
Cool! Be fun to follow the saga as it unfolds. Can't let the local gendarmes use the old, "We are so overworked and understaffed that we can't follow up on such a petty infraction" excuse. This kind of stuff is bedrock for election interference, which of course the current county execs promise will never happen here.
How about that full-page ad in the weekend PDN on page A12 by the JKT telling everyone why they should be given the Dungeness and Protection National Wildlife Refuges? They're such fabulous stewards of the land, doncha know. Holy Macaroni ....

The person who posted it said she contacted law enforcement, and I know of one other person who left an online crime tip.
