Maybe we should list of Democrat owned businesses. Only problem it would be very short and only have companies on it with ties to French grants and public $ into it. Sure is funny how far the left has strayed from Americas values. Media is their source of misinformation and growing. Thanks Jeff for exposing the hypocrisy of our leaders.

Democrat owned businesses might be the result of massive subsidies. Perhaps a proper Democrat might pass legislation that would punish a business competitor. Most successful businesses play both sides of the fence. I fear that Jeff's message might have fallen on not only deaf ears.

Thats pretty funny that a 7' tall logger can call out a Britney Spears song from your first layer!

I laugh so hard at the "Angry Logger " meme of Mitch, having met the gentle giant myself.

An angry one at that :D

Thanks for keeping us informed! So many things happen that never reach the general public. For example a young person had their backpack stolen by someone who threatened them with a GUN near the bowling alley/PBH Thursday night and as far as I can tell no related arrest yet! Information is power that helps us keep our families and homes safe. Thanks for keeping us informed!

@jefftozzer, if you were a westENDER a power outage wouldn’t have delayed your article release, plug in your generator, just saying ;-) but you would have to be “transferred out” if you were having a stroke.

Oh, I thought about you while I was whining last night in the dark. Every time I see a woman on National Geographic washing her clothes by beating them on rocks beside the river, I think, "Is that Dr. Sarah in a power outage?"

So so very sick that folks will go out of their way to hurt local business because they do not like who they support.

Some of the folks who they are willing to bend over backwards to hurt are families which a lot of the time includes feeding their children.

Yet they think they are the better ones. How fricking sick can you get?!

Proving they are dictator/ King mentality -- agree with me or eat cake.

So now Habitat has given back the $800k and will focus on the Sequim Ave project...except last year they worked on a grant with the city for that project and that grant didn't pan out. Seems they discovered building 48 homes at once is harder than building one and they couldn't meet the requirement of having the land "shovel ready" by a certain date. Now they're hoping to get it this year and if not, then what - two big chunks of land sitting vacant and no money to build anything?

Postings come across my Facebook feed for unclear reasons. Recently I saw something from Steve Johnson. I know him from another situation and can recognize him in person but I won't go into that here. He is a proud "No Kings" demonstrator and, I believe, member of Indivisible. He seems to have severe bipolar disorder. He swings rapidly from TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) to SDS (Seegers Derangement Syndrome) in the blink of an eye. He has been investigating Jake (meaning he did a Google Search and used AI! Oh my!) and came up with all sorts of "incriminating" facts.

"Creating Theocracy.

So I did a little research on the Christian Right strategy to take over small town governments with the goal of steering them towards theocracies. The first AI response seems to sum up Seegers probable motives and actions fairly well. "The efforts of the Christian Right and Christian Nationalist movements to establish control over small-town governments have evolved into highly organized, well-funded operations across rural America. Rather than focusing solely on national elections, these movements utilize a strategy called "regionalism" or "charter communities"—encouraging followers to migrate to small towns, acquire local real estate, and build institutional power to create local theocracies" Seegers has migrated to our area, acquired local real estate, and is attempting to build institutional power by running for public office. That he is a Christian Nationalist is clear. Please Share."

To accomplish those goals, his research provides, as evidence of the "well-funded operations", the Seegers Family Foundation. He says that there are $3 million in the Foundation and that it is being used to advance Christian values (Horrors!). A $3 million portfolio, well invested, should be able to generate 5-10% in income per year or $150K to $300K. Overwhelming!!!

Now compare that to the leftist, globalist (but I repeat myself) Open Society funded originally by George Soros to the tune of $32 Billion (that's with a B). Or the leftist, globalist (but I repeat myself) Gates Foundation funded my Bill Gates to the tune of $36 billion and now with assets thought to be worth $91 billion.

But the $3 million Seegers Family Foundation is the existential threat to our democracy.

Christian values are not the problem in society. Moral decay, drugs, crime, fraud, are not biblical traits or lifestyles condoned. Quite the opposite and I commend Jake for his direction he follows with integrity and committment. Go Jake!
