Very good article, Jeff. You revealed an important tribal issue that many may not know about. The JST is seeking "reparations" for their ancestral "wrongs", yet it endorses Democratic candidates who vote for open borders to engage in a modern day slave trade. The JST also calls those who question tribal exemptions racist, yet it endorsed and executed discriminatory practices during the lockdowns and mandates at their businesses. Too many hypocracies and inconsistencies. That should be enough to quantify us all as humans.
Broken record here, but getting or having rights above all other occupants of the land is the very definition of discrimination. With human existence being roughly 300,000 years please tell me where on the genealogical and chronological time lines are the exact points or the exact bisection that separates an indigenous person from all others. Surely you will find Ron Allen's ancestors traversed that Russia / Alaska land bridge during the ice age. There is no / none / "0" logic in this ancestral absurdity. Yesterday's indigenous basket weaver is today's computer programmer. All of the historically abused, their abusers and those who endorsed the treaties ARE ALL DEAD. Neither Ron Allen nor any of the other "tribal" members live the lives the treaties were drafted to protect. A cell phone is a cell phone, regardless of whether or not you put a feather in your hair. By contract treaty tribal members are given sovereignty. If the treaty entitled choose to live sovereignty, they should be treated like all other sovereign nations with the same travel restrictions, tariffs and taxation. The treaty entitled claim ancestral usual and accustomed rights from the past, while they use the infrastructure and technology provided by others to exercise those rights. The proud indigenous brave image standing with his spear by his side and a cell phone ringing from the back side of his deer skin skirt says it all.
This sovereignty made sense for the generation that was wronged by settlers, but whose usefulness and fairness has long since disappeared. Nowadays, it is more akin to clever mercenary lawyers poring over the wording of laws, using A.I. to find and exploit loopholes and ambiguities. Consider the following:
"Native American tribes are sovereign nations, with the right to self-govern and set their own membership rules."
“I support lowering blood quantum for citizenship.”
What's to prevent them from granting membership to anyone who, say, knows how to erect a tepee, to skin a deer, or other Tribal skill to grow their empire and influence. As this occurs, the Tribes become an even greater political force, voting perks for themselves at the expense of non-members:
"Tribal members are also U.S. citizens, voting in elections, receiving federal benefits, and participating in public life."
This would be akin to granting blonde-haired, blue-eyed people special privileges that allow themselves to vote for special benefits for themselves, excluding all others who have different genetics. Does this seem fair in the least?
Our target of wrath should be less against the Tribe that exploits their special rights, and more toward Congress that enables it. If blonde-haired, blue-eyed people were able to get interest-free mortgages, or to pay no taxes, would you blame them for doing so? This is less about "what can we do to screw the settlers" and more to do with "how can we use these perks to better our Tribe".
Yes, the BIA has long outlived its usefulness and fairness. It is past time to include all citizens as AMERICANS without any ancestorial perks. Sadly, given $trillion dollar spending and important issues that affect hundreds of millions of people, terminating the BIA and recouping its budget and restoring fairness to all U.S. citizens, is very low priority for our congressional representatives. However, I think it would be a good thing for everyone disturbed by this unfairness to write to DOGE, President Trump, and our elected representatives to point out the problem and the $4.6Billion being unfairly spent.
You have just touched on the biggest elephant in the room. Blood quantum is one of those topics that natives secretly talk about amongst themselves but hope no one else does. They all know exactly what their children are and call those that aren't able to enroll "descendants". But, believe it or not the last name holds more weight in these communities than actual quantum. There are tribes on the west end that have many members that are 1/2 or more in blood quantum but who have been relegated to powerless position based on the last name of their ancestors. Some who's ancestors were stolen or enslaved by the very tribes they are enrolled in are still treated with disdain to this very day just based off their last name.
My point is the native communities do not even treat their own citizens equally with in their cultural structure. So equity is a moot point. They claim their sovereignty is what gives them equality, but it is the very fact they have to chase blood quantum to keep sovereignty that shows they desire to be more than equal.
But seriously, having sovereign countries within a country as they currently are makes zero sense. They get their cake and get to eat it too. All the benifits of being a sovereign country but not most of the responsabilities. Whats next? Their own army? Paid for by tax dollars?
The Vatican, the 'City of London' (within London) and D.C. are part of the sovereign globalist nation-state.
We are ruled and sometimes rewarded or punished for our roles in supporting that cabal.
That is how it works...generally speaking, the more 'comfortable' one is 'in the world' the more valuable one has been to 'the system'. Not judging, just sayin'.😊
For those of us who's families have been in this country for generations the truth is out. We're all a bunch of mutts. Some in my background showed up on the Mayflower. Of that I am proud. But since then my family has mixed with almost every European background I can think.of. And in my generation alone we've acquired Pacific Islander and Russian Jewish heritage. Yup...mutts. I suspect that over the generations every group i can claim as belonging to has been wronged by another group who was in control. Sooooo, let's form a group and claim privileges that the rest can't have to right past wrongs!
And we get to Ron Allen...who isn't even 1/2 tribal. Yup, a mutt like the rest of us. But he's figured out how to get advantages the rest of us can't have.
But wait!!! My sister's DNA shows 3% native American! Maybe I can sign up to a group of Msssachusetts Indians and reap benefits too!
Many years ago I hitchhiked across the Navajo Reservation in northern Arizona and it was a "Pickup Truck" convention. My mother who was from Montana told me that the addiction also plagued the Blackfoot Tribe.
Has Mark Ozias, county commissioner 1st district, been adopted by S'klallam tribe been officially adopted, or just bought out? If adopted, then would he be able to transfer his property into tribal trust land? (or anyone else?) Just think of the great opportunity for the elite to help themselves to the goodie bag, while the rest of us will be left holding the empty bag.
There was a time (after the civil war) when "one-drop" was a legal classification to determine blackness. Before the civil war, free individuals of mixed race were considered legally white if they had less than 1/8 African ancestry (some parts of the country considered 1/16th to be the qualifier.)
It was a big deal -- and many states had laws against Miscegenation (mixed marriages/interethnic/interracial). These marriage rules were enforced until 1967 (supreme court case Loving v. Virginia 388 U.S. 1 1967), and still on the books in many states until 2000, technically called anti-misceganation laws. .
It was the Indian Reorganization Act of 1934 that introduced the concept of blood quantum. The problem is there are decades of birth, marriage, and death records misclassified, where no one was classified as "Indian". The reorg act was imposed to limit Native American rights and sovereignty. The thought was that eventually those eligible would diminish through intermarriage, with the eventual extinction due to dilution. Some tribes assign fractions 1/2, 1/4, 1/16, and up until casinos, 1/32 . Because all this was rooted in eugenics, without any scientific basis, it's all nonsense. It is not possible to calculate the amount of "Native" (or black, or whatever) blood someone has. (When we have children our genetic material is not just "cut in half".)
It is the BIA (bureau of Indian Affairs) that issues Native people a "Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood" (CDIB) and determines an individual's blood quantum and Native nation affiliation.
Some tribes wanted to go with "cultural" measures, such as the tribe my Great-Grandmother was from. Meaning, to gain membership you had to learn the culture, and the language, as well as have a "thirty-twoth" quantum, and be accepted by the tribal leaders, BUT not the BIA tribal leaders (who are often not actually endorsed by the tribe, themselves).
The tribe that I am genetically connected to is both in the United States and Canada (straddles the border). In Canada blood quantum isn't used, other factors are considered to determine "Status Indian". Once the casinos came, and money was involved... the quantum amounts changed in the United States, but, if I wanted to become a Canadian citizen, I would still be considered tribal.
Yeah...race-supremacy IS bloodline protocol...Barack O'Bummer is bloodline related to the Bushes on the maternal side, so that makes him the whitest black man ever!😂
This fascination with bloodline delineation IS the reason there is so much horror in the world and it goes back to the Anunnaki (those who from the sky came...the fallen ones of biblical fame) and their bio-engineering and genetic tampering..we were created as a slave-race no matter the color of our skin. The whole blah, blah, blah of biblical lineage is precisely generated by certain powerful rulers to favor certain compliant groups over time.
It's a shill-show to claim bloodlines for political or legal purposes...'pure' bloodlines die out because of inbreeding and the genetic anomalies that occur from that.
Using bloodlines as a reason for domination is just bullshit...every color and shade of humans have overrun and conquered and enslaved every other and the mixing of genes that occur, by consent or force, is what creates resiliency and strength in the human species.
The 'whites' have dominated for hundreds of years and are now fading, as the Arab and Muslim nations are expanding all over the world (they are outbreeding the 'whites')...if you think our system is 'rank' just wait until Sharia Law is implemented, which it is, as we stand by and watch the world transform right before our eyes.
There are more people of darker skin tones (percentage wise) who have been marginalized and maltreated and that IS a result of racism and bigotry but 'poor white folk' are just as subject to discrimination as any other marginalized group.
In fact, white, hetero, conservative people are now being reverse-discriminated against on a massive scale.
35 years ago I worked for the USFS in Idaho...full time for 3 years under a seasonal designation without benefits (holiday pay only) because of DEI policies...so it's not just the race card being played and there are a lot more 'victims' than anyone wants to acknowledge.
Although I answered NO to the poll question on sovereignty rights and exemptions, I am questioning the entire premise of heritage affecting citizenship in any other nation. I am a native-born citizen of the United States of America. I pledge my allegiance to ONE NATION. My heritage is that which has been passed down from previous generations, mostly tradition. No other nation should enjoy sovereignty rights and exemptions in our one nation, the United States of America. We all should remember the traditions of our ancestry, good and bad. TRIBE U.S.A.
Ron's brother Jerry played for the Port Angeles Roughrider tennis team and played in other sports. He was a fierce competitor born with a natural grin that ran away quickly in the heat of competition. He is one of many Port Angeles Roughriders I grew up watching. The Tim Fryer, Steve Johansson, Cole Madison, Levi Ballard, Jerry Payne, Dean Ellofson etc era. I will always remember watching those guys wherever they were. I remember Jerry because I would listen to the talk from that era. My sister was class of 1974 and her friends wondered if Levi Ballard was gay because he played tennis, or other reasons... All of a sudden tennis was on the radar. I watched that guy Ballard play three sports. In that vision is Jerry's mad magazine smile and warrior concentration on the tennis court. Jerry is a PA legacy whether he is tribal or not. Doebler was German also. Williams' were Pilipino. Loni, Kurt's daughter is way German with her mother being a Horstman. The ones that all grew up in the PA ghetto deserve everything they got when Boldt came down. The ICLEI betrayal is another matter.

Yes!

On point here.
Then there is the Rainbow Tribe, whatever that means!😊
??? I just looked it up-- first I've ever heard of it despite being of the same generation.

Thanks for your wonderful work Jeff

Maybe tolls to cross their SOVEREIGN land. Earn free passes at casinos.
You mean the Makah recreation permit in Neah Bay? Yup.

My family arrived in MA in 1640. Not too far after the Mayflower.
They were fleeing what we can no longer flee from...despotism and tyranny...now a global franchise!😎
Wooo ours too
Maybe you can adopt me.
Will you adapt me?
I wonder how many "Indigenous People" would wish to return to their existence before Columbus arrived.
(0)😁
Many years ago I hitchhiked across the Navajo Reservation in northern Arizona and it was a "Pickup Truck" convention. My mother who was from Montana told me that the addiction also plagued the Blackfoot Tribe.
Funny you never hear Ron Allen talk about the other 3/4 of his heritage. Sounds like he's been listening to Elizabeth Warren.
Power and greed know no race!😊

Bought and sold by the NWO anti-human agenda...he and French are dangerous entities, not just irritating pawns.😱
I hear Jamestown is less than two months away from a nuclear bomb......
I have an intuition that a change is a coming !
I sure hope you are right. But nothing good happens in DC very fast.
I heard D.C. is days away from nuclear capability as well!😂
I FEEL A HEALIN' COMIN' ON!😁
🤣 Nuke 'em 'til they glow!😆
I would argue that tribal members — as members in a sovereign nation — should not be eligible for election to public office.
If the members are a separate nation they should require passports to enter the United States.
