Approximately 60% of the total budgets for Clallam County and Port Angeles goes towards law enforcement services, including courts, jail, etc.

They argue that this leniency sends mixed messages about accountability within communities already grappling with crime rates. Some suggest STRICTER GUIDELINES around which offenses qualify for immediate release which could STRIKE A BETTER BALANCE BETWEEN COMPASSION AND SAFEGUARDING COMMUNITY WELFARE.

It has to be, the state leaders in Olympia and the Washington State Supreme Court have successfully neutered the criminal justice system.
There may be some good candidates running for upcoming Supreme Court positions that could bring balance back to the progressive packed court.
