I only trust Jeff and a couple of other Commissioners to be faithful to their oath of office. Thank you, Jeff, for hearing and standing for the people of Clallam County.

Its a house of cards that runs 10-12 deep in Non-Profits all deciding (collating) the same public policy. They have a shadow government of duplication in this county that is international, tribal, federal, state, county, city governments and activists. SERN boasts 25 government organizations. These "consortiums have 5 hydrologists including water conservation district who have the expertise that Mr. Richards claims does not exist.
The Democratic Party and the Peninsula daily news are members. By the time they take the same policy through the 10-12 layers of NGO, they have a final "collated" policy.
The County Commissioners , City Councils and Mayors, Charter Review Commission deliberation is sheer dog and pony show, as if the policy is open for public input, when only possible policy is the "collated" policy. Now we have seen Mr. Benedict and the Charter review commenters on the right side of the room (LWV) explain that once the vote is won the deliberation process is over. They only have interest for special interest not grass roots input from "Jeff's People."
It was almost funny to watch Craig Smith of NOLT and Gates Foundation go down there and set the Charter Review Commission strait, and watch the Dem PCO's suck up to him once they found out he was with NOLT, and claiming to represent hundreds of people. A clearing house was born and the paid hydrologist died.
Meanwhile Ann Soule and her LWV partners are still crusading for a paid hydrologist position. The house of cards has so many cards they can't keep the "collated" message strait. Take a page out of the culture tax playbook and show a groundswell of support.
First target NODC building on Front Street with a protest. Let the town and tourist know it is the location of an illegal global government on American soil. Take pictures and then send letters to the federal government asking them to take action.
Between Ranked Choice Voting and the Water Steward question my BP is probably up by 20pts. I filled it out and pressed the send button. Hope everyone on this thread does the same. In a one party system in my opinion the folks in power suffer from serious confirmation bias. They are so busy back slapping each other they fail to see the animosity rising from the 75% that want to live their lives hoping responsible decisions can be made at the local level. CCWD is a tool. Healthy opposition is necessary for good governance. Concentration of power is not good and Clallam County is in jeopardy of becoming King County on a smaller scale.
You may also chime in to the clerk if you have other suggestions. The survey offers only 7 options. Below are more that were discussed and there may have been more.
**Code of Ethics with civil penalties: Currently, there is a Code of Ethics for elected officials, but the Board of Commissioners removed penalties for violations. This amendment could establish enforceable penalties.
**Aligning elections with WA State Constitution: This amendment would hold elections at the precinct level, vet voters, and require hand-counting ballots.
**Reforming Board of Commissioner committee appointments: This amendment could change how members are appointed to various county boards, such as the Trails Advisory Board, Animal Solutions Advisory Committee, and Board of Equalization.
**Recusal requirement for commissioners: Would mandate that County Commissioners recuse themselves from votes where they have a conflict of interest.
**Restrictions on elected officials' advocacy: Would limit commissioners' ability to endorse policies that directly benefit organizations they are involved with.
**Government-to-Government Relations and Training: This amendment would require county officials to undergo government-to-government training to better understand and respect local tribes as sovereign governments, improving collaboration and mutual respect.
**Restrictions on board membership for commissioners: This amendment would restrict commissioners from sitting on boards of organizations that receive county funding or influence county policies, addressing potential conflicts of interest.
**Add “American governments” to Intergovernmental Relations section 1.20: This amendment would ensure that any Clallam County partnerships with foreign nations are subject to federal oversight to prevent conflicts of interest or foreign influence.
**Return to district voting: This amendment would ensure that only voters within a district vote for their county commissioner in both the primary and general elections, rather than countywide.
**Elected Director of the Department of Community Development: Clallam County is the only county in the U.S. with an elected DCD director, rather than appointed, which presents unique benefits and challenges.
**Ranked Choice Voting (RCV): Voters would rank candidates in order of preference.
**Charter Review Commission frequency: This would change the review cycle from every five years to ten.
**Increased public engagement: Could require quarterly town halls with the Board of Commissioners.
**Public access to meetings: Would mandate greater transparency in decision-making processes involving public funds and require that meetings be held on land governed by county policy and state law.
**Board of County Commissioners spending transparency: This amendment would require detailed financial reporting.
**Budget town halls: Would ensure that budget presentations are free, public, and interactive.
**Fair bidding process: Could level the playing field for local businesses bidding against foreign corporations that avoid fees and taxes.
**General fund reserve minimum: This amendment would establish a fiscal reserve threshold to ensure long-term financial stability.
**Transparency in public funds to nongovernmental organizations (NGOs): This amendment would require financial transparency from any NGO the county contracts with, ensuring that public funds are allocated to organizations with clear and accessible financial records.
**Tax increases by voter approval: This amendment would require voter approval for any future property or sales tax increases.
**Public Defender’s Office: Clallam Public Defender’s Office is currently a private nonprofit that receives funding from the county. This amendment would incorporate it into county government.
**Independent hearing examiner: Would ensure that land use and zoning decisions are made impartially, free from political influence.
**Trust land transfer program: Affects the county’s collaboration with the Department of Natural Resources in managing forestland.
**Lower permit costs for property and business owners: Would reduce financial barriers for development.
**Establishment of a Water Steward: Would create a county position focused on long-term water management.
**Requirement to notify Bureau of Indian Affairs on adverse effects: Would mandate the county notify the BIA when land use changes affect county interests.
**Increase number of County Commissioners: Increase the number of commissioners from 3 to 5.
**Clarify vacancy language for commissioners & elected officials
**Define Auditor, Treasurer, and CFO Responsibilities
**Revise Procedures for Amending the Charter
**Define the duties of the Clerk of the Board which are currently unclear
This article is one of MANY political and some non-political reasons that I feel a calling to find a way to get involved in local politics. My father, before he passed was very involved in city council meetings. Although we were at complete opposite ends of the spectrum it always inspired me to get involved. Can someone point me in a direction to fight to make changes to this committee that makes it inclusive & fair to ALL citizens as well as making sure ALL citizens voices are just as important as the next. No one should have more importance just as it should be one person, one vote. Not a gang of people doing things in secret only for their benefit & not to the rest of our communities residents.
Some ideas. Show up at a Clallam County Republicans meeting, more than once, and ask what you can do to get involved, including running for office which it sounds like you might be a good fit for.
Attend Board of Clallam County Commissioners meetings, and speak during the comments portions.
Attend the Clallam County Charter Review Commission meetings, and speak during the comments portions.
If you can't attend in person, you can listen in live, or later when you have time as each session is recorded.
Washington’s 2025 legislative session ended on April 27th The Legislature passed its largest tax increase in state history - $9.5 billion in new taxes and fees.
Our Clallam County commissioners approved a property tax increase and are considering increasing sales tax. If you’re tired of state and local governments taking more of your money while increasing regulations and spending, join us at our annual Lincoln Day Luncheon and Auction on June 21st at Sequim Prairie Grange from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our event features BBQ, a silent and live auction, and keynote speaker, Brian Heywood of Let’s Go Washington. Proceeds pay for the party’s office space, support canvassing and Get-Out-The-Vote operations, fund digital and traditional media efforts, and allow for outreach.
Shawna, Please do either or all of the following, either attend or zoom the CRC and Board of Commissioners meetings. Read what you wrote would be a perfect thing to speak about. You get 3 measly minutes for public comment before and after the meetings. Also write to the County Commissioners & voice your opposition. The silent majority needs to fight all of this nonsense & this is a good way to start & do your part.
The "gang of people" mentality is as old as Clallam County itself. Local history shows the County Seat as being in Dungeness, until a gang of people "did some things" in the dark of night, stealing the County Records and transporting them to Port Angeles, where it exists today. There is still a lot of "old money" here in Clallam County, that has manipulated the direction of such entities as OMC, NOHN, Insurance, the Courts, Banking, along with the by-pass along Lauridsen Blvd, connecting to a bridge spanning Morse Creek valley that never happened in the 1960s, et al. One rarely hears their names mentioned, publicly, unless one of them passes; then, we are reminded of their legacy, which is handed down to the next generation, quietly accommodating their family's self-aggrandizment.
The only real leverage we have is monetary and if enough of us just stayed home and quit spending for a couple weeks (just to "flatten the curve")....not very realistic...sorry I mentioned it🤪
Fiscally responsible is the mode that nicely accommodates my wife's and my retirements. I do agree with your observation; realistic or not , it is rational.
It’s time to have a “ come to your senses” showdown with the county commissioners. Their power seems beyond reason and the disregard for citizens is palatable . Do you need the commissioners? Adding two more just muddies the already tainted water. Oh, hire a water steward! More people just fragment and delay issues needing to be dealt with. How do you remove commissioners? I truly don’t know, but trying to accomplish
anything is futile. From where I stand, it looks like animosity has been brewing for a long time. It isn’t us against them, it’s listen to us, and make preemptive changes.
Or you can ride that bus right off one of the eroding cliffs.
There is no repairing it the way it is set up...a huge majority (of those in power) are power hungry and corrupt and being run by outside globalist interests.(this is not new, just unavoidably obvious now)
We have to get rid of the rotten fruit before any meaningful governance can be set in place...we are revealing it as best we can and we need a certain number of folks who are willing to wake up and act via the 1st Amendment...the 2nd is for when we have exhausted the 1st to no avail...this is how The United States of America was born and formed and a lot of blood was shed in The Revolutionary War and The un-Civil War and a lot of other un-civil wars fomented by the elite cabal using The U.S. as enforcement arm to subdue and control other governments around the world.
It's not a romantic or glorious history but it's OUR history.
We, the good, the kind, the patient, the dedicated, the moral, the majority, are at a disadvantage because we have been conditioned to accept evils as long as evils are sufferable.
Only we can know the turning point for ourselves and in that we are divided.
We may agree in principle but we are divided by our tolerance for evil.
Their arrogance, personified by the likes of Fisch, remind me of the Divine Right of Kings. "We know what is best for you peasants. That is why God wants us to rule you subjects." That theory was dismantled by the American and French Revolutions. The new concept was that the government and people enter into a contract. The government is to carry out the will of the people. Read the documents like the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and these truths will hit you between the eyes. Someplace in old US history books was the quote, "The tree of liberty is watered by the blood of tyrants."
Ben Franklin, after the Declaration of Independence was penned and signed, wrote, "Assuredly we must all hang together or we will all hang separately." He, and I would hazard a guess that every signer of the Declaration of Independence understood the consequences of his action. The challenge was laid down to the King.
Thirteen of fifteen Charter Review Commission (CRC) members were endorsed by the Democratic Party of Clallam County. The CRC is supposed to be non-partisan. Take time to watch the recorded sessions, of which there have been eight so far, and ask yourself if this is what you voted for. Having attended each session, I can attest that this is anything but non-partizan. From the first meeting it was obvious that there was a predetermined agenda by many of the commissioners to ignore public comment and any input from fellow commissioners that did not agree with or even question them. Chairman Fisch does not appear to be able to control the meetings and does not seem to have a working knowledge of Robets Rules of Order. Watch the recordings and decide for yourselves. Watch as they ignore public comment and attempt to intimidate commissioners with whom they disagree. One commissioner has resorted to name-calling, like TOZZER PEOPLE, in what may be construed as an attempt to discredit public comment. One commissioner has resorted to attempting to use his position to influence action against a public speaker. The survey itself is a testament to the total disregard for public input. It appears to be a preview of what will be the best way to present this on the ballot to ensure the passage of many on this commission’s prejudicial desires. If you’re taking the time to comment on this platform, please take the time to comment to the CRC. I could go on, but I hope you will watch and decide for yourselves.
Eric, it sounds like these people need pizza and to listen to a poet laureate read "Ode To Tozzer People" (ode-noun-structured poems praising or glorifying individuals) For some reason, I can't quit thinking about pizza, poetry and a dog bath...which makes us laugh ; )
For anyone who has time to listen to the meeting referenced with respect to the survey, go to time mark 1:28:52 for the start of the survey discussion.
Yea, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that behind the scenes Stoffer et al were getting input from other members individually so as to not establish a quorum. Maybe I should listen in on one of their recorded meetings how it went when there was a quorum.
Leading questions sway folks to answer a question one way or another, as opposed to leaving room for objectivity.
Identifying a leading question
You can usually identify leading questions by looking for subjective adjectives, or context-laden words that frame the question in a positive or negative light.
What is survey bias?
Survey bias is a deviation of feedback based on influences by the surveyor and respondent. It occurs when survey methods systematically favor specific outcomes, leading to results that inaccurately represent the target population.
The most glaring part of the survey is the added statement: MORE INPUT MAY BE REQUESTED IN THE FUTURE DEPENDING ON CITIZEN RESPONSES FROM THE SURVEY. Is this polling or a survey? What does it mean, "Depending on citizen responses"? Obviously it's a process of honing
I listened to enough meetings where the carrot has been dangled out that more surveys are to come yet the words as you noted are indeed not clear on that and give the impression that this may be all that you get to vote on.
You'll vote on what they decide you'll vote on and you can 'like it or lump it' as my momma used to say! Sit down and shut up. Obey. Or else...that's the part I'm waiting for...the 'or else'.🤓
I asked the Clerk and all CRC why anyone would take any subsequent survey. In my mind, if you take a survey as this one is framed, you do not expect another survey. Additionally, many/most folks did not even know they could provide input to a survey in the first place. Many/most folks who already participated in a survey would move on by thinking, "I already took the survey."
Morris asserted that there's no way to stuff the ballot box wrt the survey, but I don't think that's an accurate statement.
She said one way is the paper ballots are tracked. Ok, that sounds reasonable. Then she said it tracks by email addresses, yet when I took it I was not asked to provide an email address. Checking Survey Monkey online about how multiple responses are restricted we find a glaring problem.
"If the survey-taker's browser is set to clear cookies each time it's closed or they access the survey on a different browser or device, they’ll be able to take the survey multiple times."
Commissioner Morris got very upset at the meeting with tears saying something like, “I’M not even going to put this survey out now” and threw down her paper on the table. Morris did this after so many complaints about the selected questions and having to account for why they were chosen. SO MANY COMPLAINTS was actually heard for an emotional second & then the following day tossed & disregarded. It is correct this zoo of a Commission is for their agenda not for the public & taxpayers of Clallam County. We are all living by what is being voted for. The liberals/democrats live by lies and non-transparency from the top down. Deny, deny, deny… latest example Biden’s prostate cancer, who knew? Glad it’s now and not while he was President actually…..they obviously hated Kamala worse than Hitler Trump. thank goodness we can all agree on something. It’s all a con game to control the peasants…
Brain cancer too, since he had his head up his ass the whole time....showers with his daughter...sniffing and fondling little girls in photo ops...selling our country to the highest bidder, colluding, in treason, with his family, word salad puppetry, they could make a series out of this...oh, wait..."WEST WING", they already did!😱
Did you notice how calm she was last week about it all. It was such a contrast to her emotional display previously that I have to wonder who convinced her to calm down so that the unapproved survey would be sent out.
Radical home wrecking taxaholic libtards need to generate as many different types of groups as possible to give themselves power. The brainwashed will try to influence the weak minded it is their only hope.Voters need to send these hypocrite libtards packing before they tax people out of their homes.
We must all be vigilant. We got here by because we haven't been. There is so much, it takes so much time, we can all do something. Some time ago someone in my life suggested focusing on one topic, yikes!
Agreed, but I think what's missing is some cohesion. We're all fragmented and possibly not utilizing our potential/resources to drive efficiencies. If we understood common goals, and could trust that anyone wanting to support an effort would definitively know what they could do to help then we'd have a better chance.
Look at Stoffer. He occasionally posts on social media, but he puts the rubber on the road by being involved with organizations. I have yet to see people who are on the conservative side organize the same way.
So true! Our biggest frustration point...those in power got there by applying their free will will-to-power because they are motivated BY THE POWER and the ends justifies the means.
Totally rigged because most of us were taught to be 'good citizens' and these beings were taught to be 'radicals', which of course once in power will label any opposition as being radical and a threat to democracy...which BTW is no gold standard...it literally means 'mob rule'... a tyranny of 1% because the vote only has to be tipped by 1% to rule the other 49%.
We are so being played, right, left, center, top, bottom and in between!😱
'I gotta get outta this place if it's the last thing I ever so!'
🎼"Every day, it's a gettin' closer, goin' faster like a roller coaster"...🎼
1) Why is Commissioner Morris so concerned with Question 3?? Muscle Memory!!! By reversing the order of the standard YES/NO answer to NO/YES, one drastically increases the odds of a no vote on the creation of an Ethics Board. I caught this mistake myself when I proofread my survey.
2) This survey has no residency requirement!!!! Remember the DLTA survey/petition for closing Towne Rd. where over 50% of signatures were from out of area.
3) If one suffers from "Online Dissociative identity disorder" and has multiple online identities, the number of surveys submitted is only limited to the number of identities you can create!!!
At the risk of showing colors I find the Democrat Party ironically the antithesis of the democratic process. A political party comprised of well intended constituents; yet once a position of authority is obtained the constituents are discarded as no longer useful tools, ( votes ). In addition to the example exposed in this valued newsletter our last Presidential election is a perfect example. How participatory was the Democrat electorate in first selecting the dementia ravaged Biden, then throwing him under the bus, followed by selecting "the significance of the passage of time" ? I'm thinking no/none/notta participation. As a left the left person, I saw participation in my once political party as do as you are told and no independent thinking allowed. You will march to the sea with the rest of your fellow Lemmings. Abortion and minority-ism are insufficient to run a country, but sufficient to garner votes from the naive. By pretending to be the champion of all the minority classifications imaginable, you create a majority. Democrat leaders decry global warming while flying from speech to speech in a private chartered jet. I hate the current President is a smoke screen for I got nothin. I have no vision, plan or ideas, but my opponents vision is the end of democracy. Unfortunately, disallowing independent thinking precludes the essential necessity of leadership. The very reason a leader cannot be found in the Democrat Party.
Jeff, you should bring up the fact that we do not live in a democracy, we live in a constitutional republic. These people are wacko and need to be held accountable. Their arrogance blows me away.

Destruction from within...ancient Chinese philosophy but I think it came from The Anunnaki, perhaps originally.😊
Thanks.
Excellent!😊
Thanks for this in-depth report. Appreciated.
Thanks for the link Jeff.
Send your input to the Clerk (specify “CRC”) loni.gores@clallamcountywa.gov
**Clarify vacancy language for the charter
So many of these are relevant, I just hope we can vote on all of them. Yep, it's wishful thinking.
We can also “vote” by sending correspondence to the

Oh, they see it alright...they're just waiting to label it domestic terrorism and oppress us further...hope I'm wrong.😑

Diana, you are so good at keeping us informed of events, dates and resources, I really appreciate your input.
Thank you Diana!
We'll be there!😊
Shawna, Please do either or all of the following, either attend or zoom the CRC and Board of Commissioners meetings. Read what you wrote would be a perfect thing to speak about. You get 3 measly minutes for public comment before and after the meetings. Also write to the County Commissioners & voice your opposition. The silent majority needs to fight all of this nonsense & this is a good way to start & do your part.
Unless you are friends with Fisch, then you get to speak for 5 minutes.
Yes, please comment at these meetings. These elites need to know THEY are the minority.
Shadow gov't. Bring them down to Earth!🌍
"Aggrandizement".
Time will tell.😎
Second this Shawna!
Thomas Jefferson wrote that. In our present time, that could be interpreted as a death threat.
Ben Franklin, after the Declaration of Independence was penned and signed, wrote, "Assuredly we must all hang together or we will all hang separately." He, and I would hazard a guess that every signer of the Declaration of Independence understood the consequences of his action. The challenge was laid down to the King.
We have princes and princesses in CC and they are protected by the king...until they're not.😀
'Frenchie' thinks we need violence to make real change...do you think he will hesitate to violate us if/when he gains that kind of power?🥸
Not in the context of history as it was written. It stands to highlight tyranny !

Excellent!😊
For anyone who has time to listen to the meeting referenced with respect to the survey, go to time mark 1:28:52 for the start of the survey discussion.

It's interesting to listen to Morris and Stoffer explain how there wasn't a process, but they made decisions how to narrow the list to 7 questions.
Process? What was that — talk to Ozias and French?
Yea, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that behind the scenes Stoffer et al were getting input from other members individually so as to not establish a quorum. Maybe I should listen in on one of their recorded meetings how it went when there was a quorum.
And storks deliver babies.
Also, "It's my way or the highway" as my mother in law use to say.
I wish I could get on the highway and go somewhere sane, but I despair!😊
Checking Survey Monkey online about how multiple responses are restricted we find a glaring problem.
https://help.surveymonkey.com/en/surveymonkey/send/allowing-multiple-responses/
"If the survey-taker's browser is set to clear cookies each time it's closed or they access the survey on a different browser or device, they’ll be able to take the survey multiple times."
Paper copies may be requested from the Clerk and wonder how those are tracked since more copies could be printed from one dispensed.
Oh, what tangled webs we weave...🤓
Well, looky there! What a 'coincidence'.😜
Good sleuthing!😊
Tools of affectation and deceit, actually an art and a science! "Clever Girl!"😊
CRC Water Committee May 1st meeting where they discuss this. https://clallamcowa.portal.civicclerk.com/event/3487/media
Delphi Technique uses this also.😊
Commissioner Morris got very upset at the meeting with tears saying something like, “I’M not even going to put this survey out now” and threw down her paper on the table.
Her psych meds, of course!😜
Radical home wrecking taxaholic libtards need to generate as many different types of groups as possible to give themselves power. The brainwashed will try to influence the weak minded it is their only hope.Voters need to send these hypocrite libtards packing before they tax people out of their homes.
Don't hold back, Jeff!🤣

Stoffer did the same kind of thing when he was on the Sequim School Board.
Did that lead to the Board nearly censuring him and his sudden resignation?
Yes. Then he just moved up the food chain of public Ed and serves at the ESD level.
That's an entirely useless layer of tax payer funding being sucked dry to push agendas and pad bank accounts.
A menace to society if you will.
Next Meeting Clallam County Republicans is Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 6pm
Is there an 'es' missing somewhere?🤣
The security to restrict responses is also not true as Morris asserted. You can respond to it more than once.
The state D.O.L. is giving licenses to illegals and auto-registering them to vote..."we aren't in Kansas any more!"😜
At the risk of showing colors I find the Democrat Party ironically the antithesis of the democratic process.
You have a vision shared by many of us...Peace, Truth, Prosperity, Justice, Autonomy in a moral society...simple...not easy but a vision nonetheless!😁
