Last time I looked it is a crime to possess illegal drugs. CC not only looks the other way they condone and fuel this awful lifestyle. When you get sick u go to the doctor, when you break the law you go to jail. Here in CC you break the law u go to the Dr. and get free housing, drugs, food, and CC pays the bill. Where is the end result of getting them clean? As long as the CC leaders keep the same path it will continue to bankrupt us. Is this the future that we were promised when we voted these clowns in office? If so shame on us. Jeff and CCWD these articles on the waste of our taxes is disturbing and must reverse course quickly. My coffee is awaiting and the tax on it will pay for another overdose. How sad.

Washington is a blue state dominated by a leftwing ideology that believes big government is the answer and the way to make everyone's life smooth sailing, not personal responsibility as you navigate a life full of its inevitable challenges. Sen. Mike Chapman's comments in yesterday's debate over the so-called "millionaire's tax" is but one example. He co-sponsored the bill, and let the cat out of the bag when he blamed cuts from the federal government, a.k.a. manna from heaven, as the main source of our state's fiscal problems -- not overspending on ridiculous and arbitrary social programs like harm reduction, etc., while essentially advocating for, as he said, "healthcare for every individual in the state." Clallam County is rapidly heading in the same direction of reverse Robin Hood policies -- take from the productive, hard-working taxpayer and give to those who refuse to help themselves by making hard choices.

What would have happened if my Mom and Dad, Gabe and Mel, Don Mudd, Red Crumb, Otto Brodhun and Reverend Ken Dooley..handed me a boofing kit..and said keep going...and didn't have that talk or give me that look...

I would have gotten to know Dave Bruneau, and Judge Ken Williams, that's what would have happened. I would have a few choices. Job Corps ,firefighting or armed services...but the party was over.

It was a progression I knew was there and always ran through my head. I saw so many people crash on the party rocks and meet Dave Bruneau, and Judge Ken Williams..

That is the set up. Its not going to work every time but it works way better than what we have now.

Holy Bunny Break.

I've heard of many ridiculous stuff in my life and a bunny break is about top of the list for politicians. Wow Wow Wow.

I gave cut a fair amount of timber on my lifetime and sure could of used a bunny break a time or two.

Most dangerous is big heavy leaning Alder on a steep hillside where running for your life is not that uncommon.

I watched a recent post by My friend, an arborist and timber cutter Mitch Zenobi running to a bunny break and underwear change from a barber chairing Alder tree.

NOW that's stress,not some a bunch of

over weight cookie snacking politicians stressing over the bad Orange Man.

Some of these people get wasted by pill doctor's and stay wasted. The pharmaceutical's make millions off of public assistance junkies. Bernie the pain management Doctor here was a joke. 6 methadone... a pill regimen that had to be spaced or your heart would stop.. The patient looks like one of those 70's dolls that closed their eyes when you laid it down. You were going to ER every other night...
