This Blue Insanity has plaqued this country long enough. The West Coast being the absolute worst. These loyalists minds have been poisoned by both the social media platforms and the absolute garbage they watch on their televisions. Not a single one of these people were anywhere near Minnesota when the events portrayed to them occurred. They, like sheep, watched what dung their herder's threw at them and ate it. All the while the events that happening HERE in front of their eyes in Sequim in our community they choose to totally ignore. Sequim is turning into a cess pool. Are they doing anything to prevent it? Absolutely not! Yet they hold these silly protest dressed up like a bunch of Halloween characters and stand on the corners harassing the community while Sequim, they community THEY call home, slowly rots away. What purpose do these so called little pantrys serve? Right next to those are boxes of appeasement that serve no purpose than to let them stay the course. They ridiculously claim their saving lives and emergency room visits while they slowly delay the inevitable. They actually believe they're doing something good. Slowly Sequim is turning into Port Angeles, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Oregon all the way to California and they don't freaking care. They're only concern is the toxicity they've been fed and allowed themselves to believe. Walk around Safeway on any given day. The trash laying everywhere. People leave those stores and just step around the garbage everywhere like it doesn't even exist. Have you seen the individual that spent a few nights on the corner of 5th and Fir? The two grocery carts filled with trash or the wagon piled high with God knows what? He's just one of many. It's funny how these individuals and so many other bleeding hearts claim they really care about these individuals but do absolutely NOTHING in support. They throw some Narcan and a little food in these pantries and claim they're doing a good thing, wash their hands of anything further and claim they're doing a great deed. They completely ignore the damage it's doing to our community. The other day I saw two volunteers with yellow vests on cleaning the ODT (Olympic Discovery Trail). I asked them how I can contribute and be a part of cleaning up the community we call home. Instead of these silly protests and Virgils, why don't they use that same energy to focus on Sequim? These volunteers told me the disgusting things they've had to pick up. Filthy trash and discarded clothing. Bags and jars of human urine and feces. Discarded syringes, some empty some half filled with god knows what. So I guess I'm to understand that that this is becoming the new norm. The volunteers are expected to clean up behind these people. Adults, children and those walking their dogs are supposed to walk the ODT and sidewalks of Sequim and just expect to find these items. It's funny how I see a few scattered volunteers trying to keep our city and community clean yet hundreds fill the sidewalks and street corners not even caring what's happening around them. They're not ignorant of what's going on around them, they just DON'T CARE! Here's my question to all of you. If you really care about these individuals, why aren't you opening your yards to these people for a place of safe haven? Why aren't you allowing them to set up their homesteads and tents in your yards? This way all the above gross toxic items I mentioned above can stay contained in YOUR yards for YOU to clean up after? Why don't you provide your bathrooms for hygiene purposes? I'll tell you why. Oh you claim you really care. You feel that your filling these pantries with food and boxes of Narcan is good enough. But that's where you draw the line. Oh you won't open your yards and provide ANY safe havens for any of these people. You feel that you've done your part and now let the rest of the responsibilities fall on the city of Sequim and the volunteers trying to sustain our home. Wow! Both sickening and sad. When requesting a ballot for CCCD elections, the information required goes beyond that of being a Registered Voter in Washington State,, much of which is redundant, and raises the question of why a separate registration, aside from Voter Registration, is required.The possibility also occurred to me that if one only need register once, and will continue to receive a ballot until one notifies the CCCD to no longer send a ballot, that voter fraud is essentially a built-in component to the registration system. What happens to a ballot when the voter dies, or moves out of county or state? Experience in voting these elections has revealed very lax protocols and standards for the collection of ballots, along with covert counting/certification of said elections. From the onset of Christy Coxs' involvement in the CCCD, her message has always included the term "Radical." I have no idea how one's gender plays into farming, but I do note that she(in correct context) feels the need to highlight her delusions, which have no platform in public elected official business. I have noted that "volunteers", grants, etc. have always played a large part in Sisterland Farms, along with self-asserted expertise, beyond experience. I suspect voting anomalies are the norm in CCCD elections, of-late, and proceed without public awareness or question. Also, impressionable young children are confused enough these days, so they deserve the chance to make their own decisions as free from any social pressures as is possible. As an American Constitutionalist I do not like to "judge" folks as a general rule, however I definitely don't tolerate anyone telling me what to think, what I can say, or how I need to act~! Ha~! Oh yes, society has long struggled with the concept of "mental capacity" throughout history. Many good & decent "mentally handicapped" Individuals find gainful and productive employment, as do many other otherwise handicapped Individuals. However, do we want someone who is mentally impaired or mentally unsound to fly the commercial jet that we are travelling on? When we allow anyone to get into a management position who has mental issues, ESPECIALLY in government, those who are subject to the harm that always results in always pay a terrible price. The actor who played "Biden" for 4 years was just a recent example of a mentally impaired "leader" in government who was a complete & total disaster~! Just one "seemingly small" rule, act, mandate, or law that is passed by "government" very often does tremendous harm to countless folks. These are very clearly NOT "unintentional consequences" when they are allowed to continue~! People just don't seem to understand that, especially if they don't believe that "it effects them personally"~! Tragically, some people actually approve of many injustices, Constitutional crimes, knowing full well that they will do tremendous harm to others, which is absolute proof of widespread severe mental illness~! One of the most critical and glaring cases in point would involve the American 2nd Amendment. For many decades powerful evil subversive forces have been working to undermine the Americans rights to own guns (self-defense), but it was never a real issue before 1970 or so. Why? Well, folks who were paying attention would have seen countries all over the world force their people to surrender their rights to self-defense one by one, usually by taking advantage of the hysterical emotional crowd when there was a very rare tragic incident. Many in governments have actually caused these tragic incidents involving guns, just to accomplish their evil goal of rendering their own people defenseless against the government. Statistics have been exaggerated, so-called "news stories" have been faked, the hysterical have screamed, and most countries were successful in actually criminalizing the possession of guns... Well, that didn't go well for the good folks in those countries, as was especially obvious during the governments COVID mass murder spree. In fact, the ONLY reason that America and most Americans did NOT suffer an evil draconian disaster of epic proportion during the COVID mass murder democide of the government, was because of over 400 million guns in the hands of the Americans~! If Americans had tolerated the 2nd Amendment being destroyed by the evil forces in government, not only would America itself have fallen as a free country, but the entire world would have gone into the darkest of places likely forever due to the advanced level of technology that the government has had for many years now... So, my point is that the numbers of those with VERY serious mental illness in America (in & outside of government), many who on the surface only appear to be "sane & functional", are in fact driving the very serious problems that make life extremely dangerous and unpleasant for ALL of the rest of us~! Long before universities, counties, or nonprofits adopted scripted statements, many Indigenous nations practiced protocols recognizing territory, responsibility, and relationship. These practices were relational and situational—not universal scripts—and were embedded in diplomacy, ceremony, and law within Indigenous governance systems (Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian [NMAI], 2020).
Phase 2: Reconciliation-era public ceremony (1970s–1990s).
The modern public form most recognizable today traces strongly to Australia’s Welcome to Country and Acknowledgement of Country, which emerged during the 1970s and became institutionalized during the 1990s reconciliation movement. These practices were explicitly ceremonial, not administrative, and were intended to recognize Indigenous presence and survival following legal recognition of native title (Reconciliation Australia, n.d.; Watson, 2020).
Phase 3: Academic framing and decolonial theory (1990s–2000s).

Following the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (2015), land acknowledgments spread rapidly across universities, museums, nonprofits, and eventually local governments. Peer-reviewed research documents how these statements often became standardized, detached from local treaty realities, and disconnected from measurable outcomes (Wilkes et al., 2017).
In the United States, adoption accelerated after 2015 and again after 2020, frequently through diversity, equity, and inclusion offices and communications templates rather than through legislative or intergovernmental processes (Beckmann, 2021).
Phase 5: The governance gap becomes visible.
This is where many counties—including ours—now sit. Land acknowledgments appear on public websites and meeting agendas, while actual government-to-government work remains governed by entirely different frameworks: consultation procedures, jurisdictional boundaries, compacts, memoranda of understanding (MOUs), and statutory authority.
In Washington State, that governance infrastructure has existed for decades through the Centennial Accord (1989) and its implementation guidance. It is process-driven, documented, and legally grounded—and notably does not require ceremonial statements (Environmental Law Institute [ELI], 2024; Washington State Governor’s Office of Indian Affairs [GOIA], n.d.).
Phase 6: The pivot—from symbolism to structure.
None of this suggests that land acknowledgments are inherently malicious or that people acting in good faith are wrong. Rather, it reflects the predictable outcome of symbolic practices being asked to perform governance work they were never designed to do.
If we want to shift the practice, the lesson is straightforward and unglamorous: what took a decade to normalize will take time to recalibrate.
The path forward is not louder rhetoric, but quieter discipline:
6.1. Clearly separating ceremonial expression from institutional governance;
6.2. Linking any symbolic language to actual consultation records and agreements;
6.3. Publishing decision trails, fiscal responsibilities, and jurisdictional boundaries; and

Feelers exhibit a stronger drive toward group harmony, consensus, and social control. Its been a great survival technique over the years. The Charter Review Commission showed us how their thought and action process worked.

They completely ignore the damage it's doing to our community. The other day I saw two volunteers with yellow vests on cleaning the ODT (Olympic Discovery Trail). I asked them how I can contribute and be a part of cleaning up the community we call home. Instead of these silly protests and Virgils, why don't they use that same energy to focus on Sequim? These volunteers told me the disgusting things they've had to pick up. Filthy trash and discarded clothing. Bags and jars of human urine and feces. Discarded syringes, some empty some half filled with god knows what. So I guess I'm to understand that that this is becoming the new norm. The volunteers are expected to clean up behind these people. Adults, children and those walking their dogs are supposed to walk the ODT and sidewalks of Sequim and just expect to find these items. It's funny how I see a few scattered volunteers trying to keep our city and community clean yet hundreds fill the sidewalks and street corners not even caring what's happening around them. They're not ignorant of what's going on around them, they just DON'T CARE! Here's my question to all of you. If you really care about these individuals, why aren't you opening your yards to these people for a place of safe haven? When requesting a ballot for CCCD elections, the information required goes beyond that of being a Registered Voter in Washington State,, much of which is redundant, and raises the question of why a separate registration, aside from Voter Registration, is required.The possibility also occurred to me that if one only need register once, and will continue to receive a ballot until one notifies the CCCD to no longer send a ballot, that voter fraud is essentially a built-in component to the registration system. What happens to a ballot when the voter dies, or moves out of county or state? Experience in voting these elections has revealed very lax protocols and standards for the collection of ballots, along with covert counting/certification of said elections. From the onset of Christy Coxs' involvement in the CCCD, her message has always included the term "Radical." I have no idea how one's gender plays into farming, but I do note that she(in correct context) feels the need to highlight her delusions, which have no platform in public elected official business. I have noted that "volunteers", grants, etc. have always played a large part in Sisterland Farms, along with self-asserted expertise, beyond experience. I suspect voting anomalies are the norm in CCCD elections, of-late, and proceed without public awareness or question. Oh yes, we also noticed that the CCCD has very clearly "manufactured" an election process that can, and I am sure will, be corrupted to suit the whims and fancies of the criminally corrupt political machine here in our community~! Also, impressionable young children are confused enough these days, so they deserve the chance to make their own decisions as free from any social pressures as is possible. As an American Constitutionalist I do not like to "judge" folks as a general rule, however I definitely don't tolerate anyone telling me what to think, what I can say, or how I need to act~! Ha~! That is in fact a bad life choice decision when it comes to REAL American Constitutionalists. Oh yes, society has long struggled with the concept of "mental capacity" throughout history. Many good & decent "mentally handicapped" Individuals find gainful and productive employment, as do many other otherwise handicapped Individuals. However, do we want someone who is mentally impaired or mentally unsound to fly the commercial jet that we are travelling on? When we allow anyone to get into a management position who has mental issues, ESPECIALLY in government, those who are subject to the harm that always results in always pay a terrible price. The actor who played "Biden" for 4 years was just a recent example of a mentally impaired "leader" in government who was a complete & total disaster~! Just one "seemingly small" rule, act, mandate, or law that is passed by "government" very often does tremendous harm to countless folks. These are very clearly NOT "unintentional consequences" when they are allowed to continue~! People just don't seem to understand that, especially if they don't believe that "it effects them personally"~! Tragically, some people actually approve of many injustices, Constitutional crimes, knowing full well that they will do tremendous harm to others, which is absolute proof of widespread severe mental illness~! One of the most critical and glaring cases in point would involve the American 2nd Amendment. For many decades powerful evil subversive forces have been working to undermine the Americans rights to own guns (self-defense), but it was never a real issue before 1970 or so. Why? Well, folks who were paying attention would have seen countries all over the world force their people to surrender their rights to self-defense one by one, usually by taking advantage of the hysterical emotional crowd when there was a very rare tragic incident. Many in governments have actually caused these tragic incidents involving guns, just to accomplish their evil goal of rendering their own people defenseless against the government. Statistics have been exaggerated, so-called "news stories" have been faked, the hysterical have screamed, and most countries were successful in actually criminalizing the possession of guns... Well, that didn't go well for the good folks in those countries, as was especially obvious during the governments COVID mass murder spree. In fact, the ONLY reason that America and most Americans did NOT suffer an evil draconian disaster of epic proportion during the COVID mass murder democide of the government, was because of over 400 million guns in the hands of the Americans~! If Americans had tolerated the 2nd Amendment being destroyed by the evil forces in government, not only would America itself have fallen as a free country, but the entire world would have gone into the darkest of places likely forever due to the advanced level of technology that the government has had for many years now... So, my point is that the numbers of those with VERY serious mental illness in America (in & outside of government), many who on the surface only appear to be "sane & functional", are in fact driving the very serious problems that make life extremely dangerous and unpleasant for ALL of the rest of us~! Americans would be wise to look back into recent history, when the lunatics in the federal government "suddenly" cut funding for mental healthcare facilities and very intentionally unleashed MILLIONS of mentally ill people of all levels upon society! I have been involved with tribes since I was in my teens. I watched them live in the projects in PA. There have been wrongs. I have seen it myself. One reason land acknowledgments feel suddenly omnipresent is that most people encounter them only at the end of a long institutional process. What appears to be an overnight shift is actually the culmination of decades of cultural practice, academic theory, nonprofit advocacy, and administrative diffusion.
Understanding that arc matters—not to relitigate symbolism, but to recognize that if something took years to become normalized, it will also take years to reshape into something more accountable, constructive, and governance-aligned.
Phase 1: Indigenous protocol and relational practice (pre-modern).
Long before universities, counties, or nonprofits adopted scripted statements, many Indigenous nations practiced protocols recognizing territory, responsibility, and relationship. These practices were relational and situational—not universal scripts—and were embedded in diplomacy, ceremony, and law within Indigenous governance systems (Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian [NMAI], 2020).
Phase 2: Reconciliation-era public ceremony (1970s–1990s).
The modern public form most recognizable today traces strongly to Australia’s Welcome to Country and Acknowledgement of Country, which emerged during the 1970s and became institutionalized during the 1990s reconciliation movement. These practices were explicitly ceremonial, not administrative, and were intended to recognize Indigenous presence and survival following legal recognition of native title (Reconciliation Australia, n.d.; Watson, 2020).
Phase 3: Academic framing and decolonial theory (1990s–2000s).
As reconciliation practices spread, scholars working in Indigenous studies, critical pedagogy, and decolonial theory provided intellectual scaffolding. Works such as Decolonizing Methodologies (Smith, 2012, pp. 142–161) and later critiques, including Tuck and Yang’s Decolonization Is Not a Metaphor, emphasized that symbolic recognition without material change risks reproducing harm rather than alleviating it (Tuck & Yang, 2012).
Importantly, these scholars did not frame land acknowledgments as governance tools. Rather, they described them as expressive, educational, and political practices—often with explicit warnings against substituting symbolism for action.
Phase 4: Institutional diffusion in Canada and the United States (2010s).
Following the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (2015), land acknowledgments spread rapidly across universities, museums, nonprofits, and eventually local governments. Peer-reviewed research documents how these statements often became standardized, detached from local treaty realities, and disconnected from measurable outcomes (Wilkes et al., 2017).
In the United States, adoption accelerated after 2015 and again after 2020, frequently through diversity, equity, and inclusion offices and communications templates rather than through legislative or intergovernmental processes (Beckmann, 2021).
Phase 5: The governance gap becomes visible.
This is where many counties—including ours—now sit. Land acknowledgments appear on public websites and meeting agendas, while actual government-to-government work remains governed by entirely different frameworks: consultation procedures, jurisdictional boundaries, compacts, memoranda of understanding (MOUs), and statutory authority.
In Washington State, that governance infrastructure has existed for decades through the Centennial Accord (1989) and its implementation guidance. It is process-driven, documented, and legally grounded—and notably does not require ceremonial statements (Environmental Law Institute [ELI], 2024; Washington State Governor’s Office of Indian Affairs [GOIA], n.d.).
Phase 6: The pivot—from symbolism to structure.
None of this suggests that land acknowledgments are inherently malicious or that people acting in good faith are wrong. Rather, it reflects the predictable outcome of symbolic practices being asked to perform governance work they were never designed to do.
If we want to shift the practice, the lesson is straightforward and unglamorous: what took a decade to normalize will take time to recalibrate.
The path forward is not louder rhetoric, but quieter discipline:
6.1. Clearly separating ceremonial expression from institutional governance;
6.2. Linking any symbolic language to actual consultation records and agreements;
6.3. Publishing decision trails, fiscal responsibilities, and jurisdictional boundaries; and
6.4. Repeating this work consistently, year after year.
This is not politically thrilling. It does not mobilize outrage. But it compounds.
A governance north star.
Outcomes lag intent. What we formalize today—our structures, templates, policies, and records—will shape what communities inherit in ten years.
That is the work.
Not perfect words—but durable systems.
