I have to laugh at the idea of having an "American Constitutionalist booth" at this so-called "Environmental Festival", because the "festivities" would definitely be dampened by the introduction of common-sense reasoning and REAL science~!
While riding the buses on the way into the center, be sure to point out the "Tribal Use Only" sign on the lefthand side of the road near the entrance, then the sign that says "STOP Private Residents Only" that deters the public from driving down 100 yards of public, not private, road right at the parking lot entrance. Then explain how they might see these same signs one day at the entrance to the Dungeness Wildlife Refuge should JKT gain ownership. Also, just a thought ... if the Sequim school district needs to keep asking for increased levy $$ because of a strained budget, perhaps the script needs to be flipped and the district should be asking JKT to fund not only this bus ride to indoctrination city, but other school-related projects. Great to see the turnout yesterday. I had a discussion with a homeowner with a beautiful home across the street. She was not a neighbor who was welcoming the low barrier addition to her neighborhood. Wendy Sisk made it sound like all the local folks were on board. It truly amazes me "what could happen" part of letting people with mental issues, mostly from drug abuse, in the planning stages. The proof has been established on past projects and I haven't heard one thing stating how they plan to protect our tax dollars that could have been spent a lot better. I'll keep Marilyn in my prayers

I have laid idea after idea on our local leaders to create jobs in the region. 120 -150 high paying construction jobs, well within if not over Colleen's 54 grand a year. They just are not interested in anything other than their restorative justice park model model, the one that generates willing sellers and billing buyers. Imagine a community full of workers and not seasonal tourism, nursing and casino workers They have the projections of city revenue from those 120-150 jobs. 3 grand would be a drop in the bucket. Instead they stick to the seasonal tourism, nursing, casino workers, and government workers model...the one that has them looking at property owners like Wyle E Coyote looks at the road runner.
We could and should be a donor county. Only our leadership holds us back.

Regarding any field trips for our youth to the Dungeness River Nature Center, that decision should be made and funded no differently than any other field trip. I speculate that many possible field trips do not happen because of budget constraints. It would be beneficial for our youth to learn about life in other countries, but financially impractical. I do suspect a JST motivation to influence our youth that JST ancestry is noble and superior, that those kids will support JST progeny. Therein lies the problem. Those people, JST ancestry, no longer live; all deceased, all history. Their progeny live vastly different lives, using technology provided to them by people of different ancestry. So why is JST ancestry held on a pedestal and all other ancestry disregarded ? There is no doubt the JST intends to use their special rights to develop massive aquaculture and fish farming operations. It is already happening, particularly with fish hatcheries. If the fish hatcheries are not fish farming, what is ?
