I've been noticing a continual increase in new names in the comments sections participating in various ways. I enjoy reading the comments when they're from someone new, who likely has been reading the CCWD for a while and have decided to participate and be heard.
The road to change will not be easy, and it won't be overnight. Make it part of your daily routine to add value and balance to this beautiful place we all want to live in.

Some political ideologies favor rampant crime because it destabilizes the law and order that produces prosperity to a region. Someone who wants the best for her community said no more and acted. Thank you for your bravery. As Jeff noted, she didn't shrug off or distance herself from the red flag she saw; she decided to step up. Ozias and French in their elected leadership positions have publicly stated that they support chaos and law breaking. If they can support property destruction and defunding the police, what else do they support. I know they favor open borders and iilegal alien status, which allow Cartels to profit enormously thru human trafficking, child sex trafficking, labor trafficking, and drug trafficking. Do they profit from this chaos? Why else does anyone participate in it? Too much suspicion surrounding these Commissioners and their ties to their favored groups.

We need to work with King/Snohomish counties to stop releasing people with no plans straight onto the Kingston ferry or Jefferson Transit buses headed to the Olympic Peninsula. Require 72-hour reentry plan or hold them until one exists.
Catch and release has like an 80 percent re-offend rate.
If we build separate housing for 50 chronic "Sheen" offenders, put them to work and give a bus ticket to the out of area criminals, we could fix and isolate the tax payer by a large percentage..

I guess that has changed. I'd love to see the meta data of all CC property taxes. Before Doge, we created a Linux database that analyzed the discrepancies (hot spots) of Puget Sound county properties. It highlighted property tax discrepancies highlighting people/parcels who benefited from their gov positions connections. You'd be surprised. Including targeting/adverse action based on "viewpoint discrimination." Great podcast.
It was a PA citizen who recognized a frequent flyer plan enrollee behaving unusually on Monday. That person contacted police and brought a whole PAPD/OPNET law enforcement response to 9/10th Streets. One less DB on the streets, by whatever means necessary.

The failure for police to charge within the 72 hours in the situation you cited is not dissimilar to how long it took Sequim PD to charge the recent murder at the Safeway gas station. Both involved claims of self-defense, and that's a major hurdle to overcome for L.E. The assertion that they failed might be better described as they simply couldn't instead of the negative connotation that they somehow intentionally failed to do their jobs.

The federal system is beholden to political influence. Each new President ushers in AUSA's that fit the mold they want. Boots on the ground doesn't like it.

Yes, I was being facetious, but, it has gone beyond the invented leftist labels that we all are smeared with daily. I am tired of being told that I don't care, or that I don't understand all the implications and details, or that because I read FOX news or look at some other site on the internet for 'honesty' and 'integrity' and truth and 'the other evil side' I am an enemy of poor and downtrodden people.
