In our other life, we had these annual sit downs to evaluate the employees performance, matched with job expectations from the job’s duty statement. As supervisor’s, we begrudgingly did them, but this was our way of giving the feedback as needed. Document the good, the bad and the year in review. Note performance, discuss expectations. What you have done here is exactly that. Bravo.
In all fairness, SP must publish his/her/its version of the 9-year job performance evaluation of Mr French. Not the drivel we’re seeing on NextDoor, Facebook or at the court house.
If I didn't know any better, and I don't, I would swear that Amy Miller was his political writer. I met her years ago at WorkSource and her talking points were almost identical to his spiel about housing the homeless (or unhoused) and ensuring that they have all the 'necessary' creature comforts with none of the responsibilities or accountability. Here he is, promising the sun, the moon, and the stars....once again...with negligible results. That's the hallmark of Socialist agendas and I can just about hear Oprah screaming "you get a car, you get a car, you get a car" without adding "you pay the taxes on it and you've got to find a way to get it home". The only thing we get in life for free is air, and that's only because no one's figured out how to monitor our breathing 24/7.
