In order to be considered for a position within IHS, candidates must be US citizens and are subject to a pre-employment background investigation, including a fingerprint analysis

The policy of the IHS is to provide ABSOLUTE PREFERENCE to qualified American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) applicants and employees who are suitable for federal employment in filling vacancies within the IHS. As Jamestown S’Klallam HealthCARE continues to expand, its leadership will inevitably face similar questions about policies, reporting procedures and protections for patients and employees.
Jeff I don’t disagree with you very often but today I have to say that the Tribe is here to stay. We can not agree with some of their actions but they do some good things here in CC. I think I will not get into the retorts I will get about taxes but they have some positive affect on CC that we don’t recognize. They buy the products that build their projects locally with millions of $ in to the tax base from local vendors. That said our schools we build aren’t. Sometimes we don’t see the good and I have witnessed it first hand. Sorry to disagree but there is another side to the Tribes business practices. CCWD readers let me have it today I am a big boy.
