Nothing quite as satisfying as casting a vote for a challenger who has actively sought to earn that vote. This has been a marathon for a rural county election with all the stereotypical characters. Elon Musk remarked early in his ownership of Twitter that even though the Twitter has a new Captain it still has a mutinous crew. I sincerely hope this is an election victory with a large margin. Send a message to especially the NGO's from outside this county. Elon went on to say that his companies tend to attract the brightest young engineers because good engineers want to work with great engineers.
I'm hoping a Jake Seegers victory will inspire other quality individuals to throw their hat in the ring and go give Jake a hand.
Thank you Jake for stepping up, you show strength, courage and commitment in our community. I can proudly say as a large supporter that will never have any regrets whatever the outcome.
This community needed the fire. We are all tired of being in a stagnant community and always wanted something better for our families and neighbors. You brought the out the fire in this old lady and many more of us seniors.
I did this hoping my grandchildren will be able to afford to live here when they’re done with their schooling. This county is a magical place and all we want is to preserve that with still being able to afford to live here. My dream is for our children and grandchildren to carry our homestead on into the future.
I can’t say THANK YOU enough for helping this community and stepping up with all the attacks and misleading information that has gone on
As the old Chinese proverb says, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." The change needed in Clallam and Jefferson counties could not have been remotely possible until someone selflessly took that first step. Thank you, Jake. Win, lose, or draw, you've shown yourself to be a leader who puts community before self. Sadly, that obviously cannot be said of a current county leadership that refuses to campaign on, and stand behind, its record or the facts, but instead on misdirection and misinformation.
You, Mr. Seegers, are a class act! May God continue to bless you and yours. Clallam County is a winner because your family decided to call it home. Thank you for your hard work to benefit us all!
Thank You Jake Seegers. I know my Clallam County family voted for the right person with the right visions, not the wrong politician with the wrong visions.
politician
1. a person who is professionally involved in politics, especially as a holder of an elected office
For anyone on the fence and tired of being used as a funding source for the whims of our current elected officials, what Jake offers is respecting the needs and desires of every citizen in our great county.
A true representative for all, not an activist for him/herself or a few over everyone.
For the first time in every ballot I've cast since 1979 I'm proud of the person I'm voting for. I'm tired of the partisan schtick.
It's been an honor Mr. Seegers. My life is better for knowing you.
A lot can be said of all the positives that Jake's campaign has brought about. Independents and Republicans found that they could largely agree on sound community-building principles that needn't fit neatly into party lines.
The Lockstep Left displayed their angst against everyone who even dared to question their validity on the way things OUGHT to be! Their rabid contempt, and vile opposition, made the contrast between candidates even more stark!
By being the better man, Jake left them no option other than doubling down on doing their worst!
We pray for the outcome that will help restore good will among neighbors, and bring more light into dark places.
We must encourage those who've almost given up to step up and vote for Jake Seegers in these last few days before the election!
