It’s hard for people to grasp outside of Clallam County. Actually, most of us don’t understand giving supplies to drug additives to make their road an easier one. This program is so nonsensical that when others hear our Public Health Doctor say” you dont want our addicts getting Aids, do you?” Well let’s think about it. Don’t wish illness on anyone but you can only lead a horse to water. They have chosen a life style that may end in premature death. Sterile needles, and crack pipes are the answer? Hasn’t worked anywhere else, but the commissioners and Dr Berry refuse you to admit defeat.

Sing it French:

[Verse 3]

I don't care how much I'll pay

[Interlude 2]

I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it

I want it, I want it, I want it (You can't have it!)

I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it

So, the public health officer and Board of Health say that International Overdose Awareness Day will "reduce the stigma of substance abuse disorder." Are you joking? Why should addicts who refuse to get clean and sober NOT be shamed by society? Their little poster says "Stronger community, better outcomes." What horse manure. The only part of the community getting stronger thanks to these addicts are those employed by the governmental, NGO, and tribal entities that exist to service the harm reduction grift.

A dignity bus, in their heads. The word "dignity" is offered to essuage their mind's tension while trapping more people from the responsibility to be as much of a contributing member of society as everyone else is.

French and Berry can lead the way by offering a room in their own homes to those they feel so obligated to. Otherwise it's the government determining morality, which isn't the government's role as we've been told forever when it has come to other groups pushing their morals on society. More double standards.

I have watched over $100m in tax money lost in CC by giving contracts to non CC contractors. The PSBF is the worst by far. $14mnproject is late because of faulty bids that required a rebid. It was awarded the second time to the faulty bidder.with no bid bond penalty. Our leaders dropped the ball and allowed outside Companies to get this work over 2 local CC GCs. When will we wake up? This money should be spent locally to bolster CC not King and Pierce. The Sequim schools are being proposed for bids and that I believe we passed a $200m budget. I bet no one local will be asked to participate. Where are our leaders in this process? Supporting parking lots, drugs, homeless projects, Tribe giveaways, and paying less than assessed value on residents homes.i find it very frustrating to watch this happen and the leaders DONT care. Jeff and Jake have exposed the waste in this CC and all they get is some people complains about CCWD. We need a different direction than we are headed. Bankruptcy is not a solution. Now my coffee is awaiting😎

Dignity bus? Oh my. Twenty-two bodies sleeping in a “box”, 45’ x 8’. Oh the thought is disgusting! I think you would have to be in a county-induced drug stupor to even think about sleeping here. To think PA spent a half a million bucks to clean two public restrooms. Who’s volunteering to clean this bus after a night of 22 souls sleeping in their own filth? So disgusting Mr. French and Ms Berry. Take the wheels off! Bust out the windows! Move the commode outside! Oh the stench!

Just an observation - Jake Seegers does not have a chance in the general election. Comparing the last District 3 primary figures, Seegers under-performed Bill Peach despite a much more expensive and extensive primary campaign. And Districts 1 and 2 will vote much more favorably for Mike French in the General Election - even more so than four years ago. This can be seen by comparing Marcia Kelbon's vote this year with Brian Pruiett's vote four years ago. In 2022, Pruiett got 49.9% of the vote in District 3, while he got only 44.0% of the vote in Districts 1 and 2. In 2026, Kelbon got 45.98% of the total vote in District 3, while she got only 39.44% of the total vote in Districts 1 and 2. This shows that the Republican brand (which everyone knows Seegers is) decreased in favorability in District 3 from 2022 to 2026 by 3.93% and in Districts 1 and 2 by 4.56%. Perhaps Jake Seegers and the CC Watchdog should try another way for getting some of their points across - such as by not alienating vast numbers of voters in this county that belong to Indivisible Sequim, the League of Women Voters, and the Democratic Party by making personal attacks on their leaders.

Ron the attacks by the dems are far more in numbers and fairness. They are violent and some vulgar. I didnt see Jake’s campaign threatening lives like the left with bullet hole stickers. Polls are incorrect and open for scrutiny. French has done nothing to make our CC better so how do you communicate that positive in words you propose. Mr Nice guy won’t win this election. You have to respond to their lies. Vote Jake!

Ron, don't count your observations before they hatch

In politics, bellwether means a predictor; a place that, due to past trends, people look to see the probable outcome of an election, because that place has favored the winner for so long.

Nov 8, 2024 America’s Last True Bellwether County Got Election Result Wrong

The nation's last true bellwether county (Clallam County) has lost its status—after picking the wrong presidential election candidate for the first time in almost half a century.

Going into Tuesday's election, Clallam County, with its population of 78,000, in northwest Washington, had the longest track record in the nation of correctly picking the winner.

But its win streak came to an end this year, when voters chose Vice President Kamala Harris by a margin of more than eight points—only to find her Republican opponent Donald Trump was declared the winner early on Wednesday morning.

Vote Jake Seegers!

That's when the election wasn't rigged. Anyone can register and print their ballots online. How is this not being abused? The "getting it wrong in 2020" was a sign that the fix was in.

Now I'm an optimist and believe in miracles. however we must fix the vote and truly pressure local authorities to prevent the cheat. It is their lawful duty. They are criminally liable if they do not.

Until it's fixed, the only way to win is to flood the numbers with all the people who have given up. I was one of them until a handful of years ago. I thought, "What does it matter?" Now it's clear why it matters.

Victor, read SC's story "24 Hours Inside an Addicts Mind" This is what we are up against. There is no dignity in addiction nor the programs that put some sort of polish on it.

WARNING: It is raw and very unvarnished.
