You are one of a great many who have seen enough of dirty and destructive politics to grow as an Individual~! In fact, anyone much over the age of 30 who has not grown as an Individual, especially over the past ten years, has achieved nothing in their lives. The difference in the way that you have been treated by the Democrats VS the Republicans is absolutely revealing about the quality of the very different kinds of people in each party. Of course, there are always exceptions and Individuals can be suffering difficult moments in their lives, but you will continue to find that the Republican folks are FAR more civilized, reasonable, Intelligent, and willing to hear different viewpoints~! My mom was a lot like yours, an old Kennedy democrat who would have had nothing to do with today's donkey party, and especially the blatant corruption here in little ol' Clallam County. The truth is, the bad actors embedded in local government have been in place a long time; rooting them out will take more than one election cycle. Thanks to CCWD, the curtain is slowly being pulled back; hopefully, it will encourage the "silent majority" of county residents to make their voices heard at the ballot box, and beyond.
