Thanks Jeff for exposing the LYING Women Voters true colors. It seems by name as a friendly organization with the public at mind. It is as corrupt as the leaders of CC. I just can’t believe the hate that they have for Americas principles and Trump followers. These women (sorry CCWD females) are a bunch of Commies on steroids. They are treasonous at best with their own agenda that I can’t really figure out. My coffee is going to be extra hot today with a quad shot. Oh do we trust them to be the process of counting votes? I think they have in the past.

Jeff Tozzer's avatar

Anyone who witnessed their antics during last year's Charter Review Commission knows exactly who is putting Democracy "under siege." The LWV only defends Democracy if they agree with your viewpoint.

Denise Lapio's avatar

I remember that first CRC meeting and was shocked, shocked at the level of unprofessionalism, favoritism, and elitism. I don't know how endured all the negativity, but THANK YOU, JEFF! You were, and still are, our pillar of hope.

Jeff Tozzer's avatar

My therapist tells me it was a character building experience.

Eric Fehrmann's avatar

And look at the character you are today. Oh and the character you managed to retain.

Teresa's avatar

Denise-

You and I are no spring chicken-

We’ve endured countless professional meetings in our lifetime.

What we witnessed is criminal.

They thought NO ONE was watching. 👀

Denise Lapio's avatar

This will make your blood boil- no proclamation for 9/11!! At Tuesday's BoCC meeting!!

jedjennings50's avatar

We should rename our country western USSR we are heading there. All the blood spilled to keep America free and no respect for the people that died so we could be free. How sad!

Teresa's avatar

more will be revealed.

hmm..🤔

Eric Fehrmann's avatar

I think we should make our own, recognizing all citizens who are commenting and enduring disrespect from the chair.

Eric Fehrmann's avatar

🎶 Can I get witness 🎶

I watched charter review commissioners blatantly disregard and disrespect public commenters and even one of their own commissioner to the point of distraction from the purpose of the Charter Review process itself. The chair attempted to abrogate freedom of speech from commenters and commissioners, if not in line with what seemed a preset objective.

Denise Lapio's avatar

I do solemnly swear that the CRC ran amok with the power the public entrusted them.

jedjennings50's avatar

Eric thanks for the info for us that weren’t there. It gets my blood boiling when I see or hear about these people who are ruining CC.

Eric Fehrmann's avatar

I think i had a full head of hair three years ago. 😤

Eric I was so disappointed by the unproductive Charter Review Commissioners. So much wasted time by the Commissioners on personal agendas and not focused on transparency nor what guidelines would have been good and fair for our county government. But then again, look who was on the Board of Commissioners. Names read as a lopsided panel of jurors.

District 1 Commissioners:

• Susan Fisch (Chair)

• Bill Benedict

• Jim Stoffer

• Jeff Tozzer

• Alex Fane

District 2 Commissioners:

• Ron Cameron

• Patti Morris

• Chris Noble (1st Chair)

• Paul Pickett

• Ron Richards

District 3 Commissioners:

• Rod Fleck (Parliamentarian)

• Mark Hodgson (2nd Chair)

• Nina Sarmiento

• Christy Holy

• Cathy Walde

Jeff, did you ever get a response from your Open Letter to the League of Women Voters?

If not, then IMO, the LWV has completely lost it reason to exist as an organization.

Jeff Tozzer's avatar

Not a word. And the local chapter has never responded to an email either.

Denise Lapio's avatar

I didn't get one either. We'll start a club.

Jennifer's avatar

Jeff, that says it all

Teresa's avatar

🙋🏻‍♀️i sure did.

i will be happy to be a witness when needed.

Chris Clark's avatar

We need to make sure we keep them off the charter review next time. Nothing got done, that wasn’t a democracy, that was a clown show especially what they did to Jeff Tozzer. They spent more time going after certain people than trying to improve our county

Teresa's avatar

If Jeff ever wanted to file charges- I would be there.

If anyone has no Idea-

Maybe Jeff could place a couple of the classic “snip-its” from the reigns of a few Charter Review meetings.

There is a need.

Cant let this happen again and these dirty birds need accountability & ETHICS!!

"Women and those that can become pregnant." Sort of says it all. Bat shit crazy.

My comment is to the less than enthusiastic looking men at these ridiculous gatherings with their wives. Grow a pair please. Simply steel your gaze. Slowly turn your head like Dirty Harry and tell her/they/them. I refuse to stand on the corner with you while you look like a clown."

Fellas... Just about every guy that passes you at Washington and Sequim Ave sees your debasement. That collar around your neck is plain to see. I cringe at your plight.

Now if I'm wrong and you are their voluntarily??? Well... I just cannot even fathom that.

That’s the problem nowadays, many of these men don’t have the balls. You notice how so many men aren’t the manly man anymore?

Endocrine disruptors are everywhere in products that people use every day. I swear the last preschool where I taught after the extra intensely scented laundry products became heavily marketed, I could correlate behavior issue severity with fragrance level of clothes and personal blankets. I tried talking about endocrine disruptors to a few parents but eventually decided it was easier to tell them all I had fragrance allergies.

Conversation? Try it, it won’t go well. He ignores you especially if you’re a woman, he won’t look at you in the eye, then he’ll turn and just walk away.

Jennifer's avatar

Chris, yes, especially at my age LOL

Susie Blake's avatar

I think some of what you are seeing in the men protesting is due to hormonal changes of aging + early symptoms of dementia. I think of an older man in my neighborhood who was part of an elite military force during his career and how feeble he seems to me now as he (over 80 yrs old) stands in front of the courthouse with his sign every weekend. I know from encountering him out walking that he barely hears anymore and it makes me reflect on how important maintaining vision and hearing is to help prevent cognitive decline.

Understanding of hormonal changes and potential treatments for women has advanced a great deal in the last 20 years. I am not sure if the same can be said for men's needs but I think men are socially less likely to discuss among themselves and maybe more are suffering from lack of modern care in that area.

This is ai’s interpretation of “Is America under democracy”.

Yes, the United States is under a democracy, though it is more precisely defined as a constitutional federal republic or a representative democracy. The terms "democracy" and "republic" are not mutually exclusive; rather, they describe different aspects of the same government system.

The U.S. operates under this system through several key mechanisms:Representative Democracy: Instead of a direct democracy where every citizen votes on every law, Americans democratically elect representatives (such as members of Congress and the president) to vote on laws and manage government affairs on their behalf.

Constitutional Republic: The U.S. is a republic because its political power rests with the public and their chosen representatives, rather than a monarch.

THE PUBLIC!!

See this LWV, the public spoke! These women are so deranged, look at their ages. I’m some of their ages but I’m glad that I’m not deranged. I have a mind of my own and don’t DRINK THEIR Koolaid.

Good morning Jeff and Doggers,

You all are on fire today...well that happens when you're lied to.

Natural as rain and sun growing crops.

Keep the light on them all, please.

Please remember to vote Jake Seegers and 5 more of your friends. Too big to rig once again plus a big stamp for putting the next commie on notice!

Thanks all and have a great day all.

Just look up who funds this organization. Follow the money. It will tell you what it's mission is. Try going to a meeting and telling them you are conservative. And they monitor the voting process?

While not taking sides in the abortion debate - which has been settled by the Supreme Court, correct? - saying "Women and those who can become pregnant" is simply bats*!t crazy, as is saying that access to abortion is "essential to a functioning democracy." WTH? LVW, both nationally and locally, is simply a woke leftist organization masquerading as an impartial advocate for fairness. Even a blind squirrel can see that. Which begs the question, why are their members still allowed to be an official part of the electoral process?

Dale Russell's avatar

I am curious about this "democracy" that the LWV claim to be defending. Is that the same democracy that existed back in 2024 that resulted in Trump getting more votes than his opponent, winning in 7 swing states and winning a majority of votes in the Electoral College? It isn't only "democracy" when your side wins.

jedjennings50's avatar

We put up with Biden for far too long but didnt employ the tactics or hate that we are seeing today. Democracy is not really in the dems vocabulary. It’s called power for the few commies that run the party now. No common sense liberals!

Denise Lapio's avatar

Yes, LWV, Democracy is under siege by those in the Democrat party! NY, Govenor Kathy Hochul (D) wore a hijab while giving a speech just to appease Muslim men; Communists are increasing in number within the party - do you still value your cell phone and your locally stocked grocery store?; and many Democrat candidates and representatives support Sharia law- do you still value your freedom to get a driver license? If the local LWV wants to resist national policies, the members should really look into what is really happening. I read the LWV's website mission statement and was disappointed to read how much the League values quotas and not merit. The League needs to change its name as it is falsely advertising under an old and repected brand.

Susie Blake's avatar

If you heard Callaway's public comment at the recent PA council meeting your head would have exploded. It was after the 9/11 proclamation. They/them ranted against "American Imperialism" and in support of Palestine and Iran, you know, the places that would behead they/them without a second thought.

Denise Lapio's avatar

At least PA and Sequim had a recognition. The BoCC's agenda has a proclamation for Recognizing Constitution Week AND Diaper Need Awareness Week. Where's the 9/11 25th Honor of the Day America Was Attacked?!!

Showing false colors. Sept 4, 2026.

Years ago a ship flying false colors was considered a pirate, or at least untrustworthy. Our League of Women Voters fly false colors. They also have tremendous influence regarding our voting process. The Question is, are they untrustworthy? Can we voters consider a group, blatantly biased, useful in our voting process?

What do you want for advice? If you only get one side of the argument, often untruthful, how can they have so much power? Are we voters so gullible that these biased, often false, claims need to be challenged. Where is the truth? Should we voters start to question the actions of the League?

I have been reading about the “new” Democratic Socialist Party. Maybe we could call it the “Communist” party and see their true colors. Unfortunately, our voters don’t seem to read the small print. Repeatedly we read about prejudicial comments from the League disguised as truth, as neutral comments, when the slightest challenge is met with indignant protest. How much information do you need? When one reads the list of officers within the League, and their history, we see a repeated example of left-leaning, harmful, influence in our voting process. We voters should point out each statement from the League of Women Voters and challenge their position that they are not biased.

The 2026-2028 Leaders Guide instructs every League to plan around a campaign titled “Women Defend Democracy: Democracy Under Siege.” It declares a constitutional crisis as of April 17, 2025, and lists six prongs: Voting Rights, Election Protection, Redistricting, Individual Liberties, Immigration, and The Presidency.

The language is not the measured tone of a civic league. It is mobilization language: democracy is under “coordinated attack,” institutions face “direct and sustained threats,” and the League is “uniquely positioned to fight back.” Local chapters are not invited to debate whether that framing is accurate. They are told to implement it.

So much for neutrality!

Excellent article, Patriot Jeff Tozzer~!

This is a particularly well thought out reveal of The League of Women Voters and how that organization has become a very active subversive political activist group! They are actually a very serious threat to The American Constitution and all Americans, because of their fraudulent posing as a "non-political" group. There are a great many organizations (NGOs) in America that are actively working to undermine the rule of law, as they violate their own charters, and many Americans are disgusted by the rampant hypocrisy! I feel sad for all of the good American women, who are disgraced and demeaned by the illegal underhanded actions of the very groups that pretend to be serving their best interests, because that is a terrible insult to ALL women. I find it EXTREMELY dangerous that The League of Women Voters would be allowed anywhere near our official election process, and for that injustice alone I favor the immediate criminal investigation and revocation of the so-called "legal status" of the rogue organization~! Until that time comes, I will be obliged to treat The League of Women Voters as a Treasonous criminal organization of Treasonous Americans who are betraying America and ALL Americans. May the day soon come for ALL of these Treasonous organizations and Individuals to be prosecuted for their crimes against the American people~! In the meantime, The League of Women Voters does in fact serve as a VERY dependable platform of what NOT to support, what NOT to vote for, and who NOT to vote for, which is Ironically of enormous value to those of us who want to save OUR American REPUBLIC from these Treasonous Communist scumbags~!

Sincerely, Mike

Got it, Mike. Vote opposite LWV endorsements or recommendations to vote for sanity.

Michael Heath's avatar

It is always good to hear from you, Patriot Denise Lapio~!

I always check my homework a few times and I always encourage others to do the same, however voting the opposite of what these communist lunatics of the LWV want is very clearly the best decision for freedom loving Americans~! In a weird way, the LWV is doing freedom loving Americans a HUGE favor!!! We Americans are actually being blessed with the great "gift" of the ability to see who does and who do NOT support America, The American Constitution, and Americans freedom & rights these days. These Treasonous anti-American criminals from within our borders are being forced out of the shadows and they can no longer deny their old evil criminal agenda as they have been for a great many decades~! Keep up the great work protecting our beloved community and country~!

Sincerely, Mike

NOWHERE in the United States Constitution can you find "separation of church and state". The first amendment prohibits the government from establishing a "state" religion. The founders did not want a re-occurrence of the church of England. The separation of church and state is referring yo the Internal Revenue Service tax exemption status of churches not endorsing politics from the pulpit. The same rules apply to non-profits, like the League of Women Voters (LWV). I wonder if LWV members have read any of the Constitutions they hand out? The LWV is a 501(c)(4). The educational arm of LWV is registered as 501(c)(3). To qualify for 501(c)(3) status, an organization must meet certain criteria:

Organizational Structure

Must be organized as a corporation, trust, or unincorporated association.

The organization’s articles of incorporation must limit its purposes to those recognized as tax-exempt.

Operational Guidelines

Operate exclusively for exempt purposes.

No part of the net earnings may benefit any private shareholder or individual.

Must not engage in substantial lobbying or political campaign activities

Same requirements as a church.

Just a thought.

Denise Lapio's avatar

Thanks, Eric. This clarification is much needed. The TUMC is welcomed to freele give a sermon on any subject, but needs to not establish itself as the Church of Sequim or Clallam County. So why is it taking tax money from the citizens of these municipalities?

donald hall's avatar

I classify the LWV as a strain of POPs (Pathetic Old People). Frustrated because the public doesn't fall down in adoration to their wisdom, lacking in any new ideas or the ability to process new ideas, they are reduced to replicating 40-year-old street theater (Handmaids Tale, published in 1985).
