You can judge a group by the people that join. Jim Stoffer and the League of Women Voters is case in point. Is this the only organization that allowed him to join? Speaks volumes regarding integrity in members. Way to go LWV. Aren’t you obsolete, women can vote!
It’s important for everyone to realize how much gov and gov adjacent people are making. But the salary comparison was only amongst themselves. The non gov affiliated tax payers are making considerably less even your local professionals, some by a lot.
And keep in mind: people who get their salary from the gov or affiliated with the gov do not pay taxes. They think they do. We’ve been convinced they do but it’s all a shell game. The money comes from and goes back to the same entity. They are not paying “taxes” they are just giving some money back to where it came from. They are just getting paid less. The only people truly paying tax are those of us generating money outside the gov. There’s a big difference between when the gov takes back some money they just gave you and when they take money from you they didn’t have any hand in generating. One is just an allowance reduction. The other is theft.
